Sorry, but they have changed owners, and are now Oyama Chinese Buffet. Their food was mediocre at best. Check out other reviews under their new name.

I agree with most every review on THIS site. I’ve seen some rave reviews, and I think they may be mistaken. I’ve been to this buffet twice. After the first time, I thought I wouldn’t be back there. Totally underwhelming for a Chinese buffet. Bad food, Old/Not Fresh, Overall not very good. But they started this weekend«Lobster Buffet» so why not try it?! LOL! What a joke! They had three pieces of Lobster in a tray that looked like it had sat there for a week.(No kidding) We were there for an hour(Saturday 5:30 — 6:30pm) and they didn’t refill it once. I was tempted to call the Health Department, not try it. There were a couple decent options, but too many, including the Sushi could not be considered fresh by even the easiest going diner.

The variety was ok, and the quality was ok. My wife enjoyed the sushi, and I enjoyed the fried rice. However, there were no eggrolls, spring rolls, or crab rangoons. We were very disappointed in that. Overall, it was ok. We feel like we get better flavor and value at the mall food court though.

Sorry, kids, but this one gets 2 out of 5 stars, because on average, thats the ratio of good dishes to bad. The sea bass had to be the most fishy tasting fish I’ve ever had. Chicken Teri sticks were dry and flavorless. They got these little sesame seed balls w/mystery filling that are a gooey mess. Had to spit it out. Some of those entrees weren’t even as good as Safeways China Express or $ 1 Chinese Food. I did go back for seconds on the fried shrimp, though. Sure, the price is right but its all quantity w/little quality so be choosy about what you put on your plate.

This restaurant is semi-new and competes with the nearby New China Buffet. Whilst New China Buffet is cheaper, the quality and variety of foods at King’s Wok makes up the difference.(in my experiences, dinner costs $ 12.01). Some of the foods I see when I go there include: Honey Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Pineapple Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken(skewered), Custard Bao, tons of various soups, cheese wontons, mongolian beef, and tons of more staples I can’t think of right now. Some of the not so common things they have are tons of seafood for dinner, including crab legs, fried oysters, and fried squid. They also have some decent sushi that’s made fresh every half hour or so. This is the only buffet I’d ever recommend eating sushi at, it’s not the best, but it’s fresh and it’s included in the price anyway. They also have a lot of ‘exotic’ flavored ice creams in the back, you have to ask an employee to get some for you, but it’s very good. The Green Tea ice cream is especially delicious. A Buffet is always going to be a buffet, but if you’re thinking of going to one on the hill, stop by King’s Wok.
