Beautiful place and Good music, however i had a bday party and i paid $ 550 for 2 bottles and was promised free entrance for my guests. When my guest arrive they were being charged 20 even though they were giving the bday boys name and was told its free entrance but you have to buy a drink and given a «free drink ticket» Totallyyyyyy bad business!!!

Came here last Saturday for a Birthday, this place is pretty sick, in a good way. It had a really upscale, good looking crowd. The décor, sound and lighting is definitely reminiscent of a Vegas style club. Being I’m from Queens and it’s right here in Astoria is awesome.
The music was a cool blend, a little of everything, house, hip hop, latin and more.
There was a $ 15 «Drink Minimum» if your on a list, I wasn’t crazy about that, but at least you get a drink in return which makes up for the cover. They have like a crazy champagne parade for birthdays which was pretty cool. The drinks are a little on the pricey side, but I’ve seen worse. Hopefully they’ll adjust that, idk.
But overall my friends and I had a great time. Cool venue, really nice crowd and good music, so it gets my stamp of approval. I would definitely recommend.

December 26^th advertised as «Free All Night» but charged $ 20 cover (at least it included a drink). Forced coat check costing $ 4.
Otherwise, the club is great. Unfortunately I am giving one star because false advertising and nickel-​diming is unacceptable and inexcusable.

I been clubbing for years. This is an amazing club, it’s very elegant and spacious. The staff are amazing, I recently came by with a few of my friends and had an unforgettable moment. Team PLÉ are a few promoters who are there on Fridays and they took care of me and my friends. Great quality customer service and if you want to go for free just say PLÉ at the door. I went around 11:40, and the line wasn’t as long. Security are kind and respectful. I can’t wait to return!!! Baroque keep it going, you guys rock.

All you need to know:
1. Mandatory $ 40 cover, even for women
2. Mandatory coat check via the worlds worst and slowest coat check system
3. $ 14 — $ 15 mediocre /​small cocktails… in ASTORIA!!! Listen, Manhattan is expensive because it’s Manhattan island, Queens is not Manhattan so just stop it already with this insanity. There’s a damn waste treatment plant down the fucking block!
4. No dance floor, just a massive nondescript bar the size of a basketball court in the middle of everything… and yes, of course, there are not enough bartenders on hand despite its size
5. The music is louder than any club I’ve ever been too… in a very bad way… like seriously… WAY. TOO. LOUD.
6. Don’t expect to ever hear any of the friends or the date you go with, because of the above… EVER…it’s ok, why talk when you can text
7. They play house /​edm, which I personally like, and the reason I gave Baroque two stars
8. Bathroom line… hahahahahahahahahahaha
9. DJ booth is at the entrance of the club, which means you walk immediately into a wall a people as soon as you get in. Nothing like a mob of people to push through to start the night off. Who the hell designed this place?
10. You’re closer to Rikers Island than you are to the NQ subway

Not a bad place to hang out. The atmosphere is good and theres always eye candy to look at. Drinks are a bit pricey. And they need a dj that plays more genre music instead of house music.

That place is huge and it is decorated nicely. It is too dark and loud inside. You need see and hear the people you want to mingle with. The place is huge which makes it tough to fill with people. This will hamper its success. It’s competitors, Cavo and central are smaller venues and are easier to fill. No one wants to go to an empty club. Baroque needs to be more aggressive and book some good dj’s and provide a more entertaining experience. Otherwise it doesn’t stand a chance in the over saturated club industry in the Astoria region.

Two stars for this huuuge place.
Décor and lights are great.
The bartenders and bottle girls do a nice job at being hot.
One star here-​Drinks were strong, right fully so because of the price.
Security staff: douche lords, but I guess they kind of need to be.
Only thing that really killed my vibe there was the fact that it was extremely loud, like tooo much. They need a chill out area where you can socialize.
It’s a nice place if you’re into the club scene.
I wouldn’t come here to just «grab drinks»

Amazing place! I have been there a few times, it is a new club and I’ll have to admit that it is my favorite that I’ve been to so far in Astoria and I would say Manhattan too. The atmosphere gives you a feel like you are on vacation and the place is so big that you actually have room to move. The management and the staff are amazing, the always make me feel so welcomed and appreciate it. Astoria needed a change and this is definitely a good one.

Not sure why this place exists. Ok music, rude bouncers and the few people here looked bored. Nice décor does not compensate for the attitude. Too many other places with better staffing also.

got here at 11:30pm and it was absolutely and utterly empty with a big closed off line with ropes and security checking names on the guest list even though the line had no one in it and the club was empty as all hell. immediate bad sign — if its not poppin’ by 12, it won’t pop off, ever.
my two male friends were unnecessarily required to check their light weight jackets as soon as we got inside — it’s 70 degrees so as you can imagine they were wearing denim and leather jackets. i was also wearing a leather jacket but they didn’t ask me to check mine.
1 star for the drinks and the décor. we ordered several basic cocktails like vodka tonics and whisky sours and they were surprisingly delicious for such basic ingredients — but for $ 15 a drink, they’d better be! baroque has a really chic, upscale décor for astoria, but the artwork is soooo sleazy. clearly reminds you of a strip club joint.
this place is way off the beaten path and there are no redeeming qualities for that factor — it’s far, it’s as expensive as any spot in meatpacking, and it’s as pretentious too. never again.

Good spot Nice décor but what I don’t get is why have a so called «nightclub» and NO PLACE TO DANCE LOL… it’s a a huge bar that takes up the entire venue… literally no change in the scenery of the place and than another bar way in the back as if the one in the middle taking up all the space isn’t enough… they should call it a lounge and add some chairs or take the last bar at the end out add a dancefloor and the DJ booth there… since when is the DJ at the entrance of the club ??? That’s not where it happens you want to attract peoples attention u add a floor and space to dance where the Dj won’t be soooo distracted from the people walking in and out of that place… I mean cmon centrals is a block AWAYYY… overall decent spot

Had a great time inside tonight, But when I came outside i coudn’t believe my eyes. The bouncers were dealing with a drunk patron yes the guy was very drunk and yelling and screaming but was no threat at all. Next thing I see the bouncers dragging the guy across the street and then they start punching the guy and beating him very bad, I have never in my life saw a group of individuals act so unproffesional in my life one guy was punching the guy at least 10 times in the face as another bouncer had him in a headlock and then when the guy fell to the ground they were kicking him in his back and face and these are people you have working for you??? Whoever owns or manages this place has to teach and train these bouncers that work the front door how to handle situations.

Good place to party, beautiful inside, nice atmosphere and music, they don’t give you a hard time at the door, etc… There is only one and very important thing they have to solve, the drinks suck, is like they are selling ice and juice with a smell of alcohol.
