Looking for «hot» affordable food that isn’t fast food near the criminal court house of Queens? Then you might want to try China Garden.
Their food is served buffet style so you get to pick what you eat. The selection is a bit on the small size but there are a few good constant choices like ribs, fried chicken and mac and cheese. It’s all cooked well for the most part. There’s also a salad bar but honestly, my diet is high in protein with very little greens. Though the salad bar looks decent so I’d try it if I ever felt like a salad.
The restaurant itself is small and only have about 4 tables. It’s also very hot and doesn’t seem to have an air conditioner. It’s for these reasons that I gave it only 3 stars.
