Horrible, horrible place. I placed an order on 12⁄13 to ship to home and after waiting a week I called them. Someone took my name and order# and said they would call me back by end of day. No call back. Called the 21 and 22 to leave msgs. Sent email requests for update. Called today and voice mail is full. They are totally ducking their responsibilities. I can’t stress how horrible their service is. Food looked tasty but will never know.

Going to Lehmann’s in the early morning is now a pleasant ritual I share with my Terrier. It’s about a 10-minute drive from downtown Racine, but well worth the effort. A large parking lot is adjacent to the bakery, and two tables stand in front. Lehmann’s serves Colectivo coffee in a variety of options(regular, decaf, extra-strong). Menu items are reasonably priced, and you can select a sweet from the bakery cases. Several tables and a welcoming couch area offer plenty of room for visitors. Bring your laptop, as free wireless is available.

This place is next to a hair salon and lawyer’s office, so it’s kind of hard to miss, but don’t. Nice people, fresh baked goods, and samples of Kringle by the coffee. It’s a great place for a Sunday morning.

Lehman’s food is really good and reasonably priced. If I were buying bakery items I would go elsewhere. The Kringle is usually mushy.

Dough worth spending dough to get! I’m basing my review strictly on a visit to the bakery for a Kringle. I have an upcoming business trip and wanted to take a piece of Milwaukee/Racine with me. So I took a drive and so glad I did. The place wasn’t what I expected. I guess I envisioned a big, bustling bakery that was pumping out the goods. Even a bakery case displaying all the assorted Kringles outside the box.(Suggestion to the owners) What about an observation window or something? Maybe the history of this place caused me to dream it up. The place is small with a row of tables and chairs along the wall. I didn’t immediately find the Kringles because they were away from the bakery cases. Kinda odd placement if you ask me. Plus, people eat with their eyes. If I ran the place I would have them all over the place showing off all their glorious goodness. I was surprised they offered soups, sandwiches, and breakfast items. They certainly had some regulars huddled up to tables engaged in conversations. Although it wasn’t what I expected the place has a historical feel. It’s original and is the best Kringle maker in the area. Looking forward to taking it on the plane to out-of-state Kringle virgins. That is if I don’t eat the thing beforehand.
