I’m pleased! I was on the hunt specifically for the brown tailored cropped pants & saw on the website that this location had them. I walked right in & thanks to clearly organized sections(or «shops»), I was able to find them quickly. Also, thanks to correct sizing on the rack, I found my size fast. I went to the rather large fitting rooms(yay!) & thanks to the big mirror, I was able to check out exactly what the pants looked like up close & from far away. Being a previous employee & now just a shopper, I have never agreed with Gap’s pricing. And some of their clothes hold up better(after wash & wear) than others. So, I do have an issue with paying $ 64 for a pair of pants. However, they are«premium pants.» The associate at the register was friendly & of course, per usual, tried to get me to open up a GAP Card. But he didn’t go into a long winded talk after I politely told him«no.» Clean store, organized, large fitting rooms. A+!

I’m not entirely sure about all of these reviews, I’ve been here a few time and even had something exchanged today and the«Manager in Charge» was happy to assit me. «Melissa» the Manager in Charge, helped me return the shirt I brought in and even quickly helped me find other ones that could take the place of it. Now, I know she was doing her job as a salesperson but the fact that she helped me and asked me, why I didn’t like the shirt meant something for me.

Terrible, terrible customer service. I bought 4 pairs of pants at the Southpoint Mall location and specifically asked the cashier what their return policy is. She said 60 days. I asked about the policy because I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep all 4 pair. That was on Monday when I bought them. When I got them home and tried them on for work, they didn’t fit properly. So I took them back to the Crabtree store on Sunday afternoon. The manager on shift refused to take them back because she said they had been worn. Well, yes. They’re worn after you try them on in the dressing room. Upon further inquiry, she pointed to some wrinkles in a pair of the pants and called that«wear.» Seriously? The pants were in perfect condition with all the tags present; they were just as «wrinkled» new on the shelves. Still, the manager refused the return. So I took them to the Triangle Town Center Gap, and they accepted them back without a second thought. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the Crabtree Gap. Extremely poor customer service. As an addendum, I was planning to return the pants and buy several pair of more expensive pants from Banana Republic. Now I likely won’t, due to the nagging questions about their return policy. Funny thing is, I’ve bought from Old Navy for years and had some returns without hassle, and Old Navy is the cheapest of the three.

The staff working the Crabtree Gap are usually friendly and helpful. Along with Banana Republic and J. Crew, this is one of my regular stops when I am doing the rare in-person clothes shopping thing. Unfortunately, I usually need tall sizes, which are only available online. Fortunately, I can still return online orders to the store!
