Jersey Mike’s Subs

OK Jersey Mikes got me with the free regular size sub of my choice and 22 Oz drink all complimentary on your actual birthday.
Came in at lunch time, very crowded but the staff moved thru line at nice pace. I asked the employee to please make my sandwich with love because it was my birthday and he assured me that all the sandwiches are made that way.
I ordered the classic cheesesteak but with grilled mushrooms added. Because the sandwich was one that required cooking, I had a brief wait.
I enjoyed the taste of my sandwich and it was messy in the sense of too much mayo etc but I don’t mind that. My 4 stars is for the taste of the sweet tea. did not like, so went ahead and had soda. And for the cleanliness in the dining room area. I’m assuming because of the lunch hr rush all efforts were towards sandwich making and not cleaning the dining room.
I would go back whenever I have the taste for a sub but I normally make sandwiches at home.

Mixed about this location — been a couple of times & the employees were always super nice & the food was great but went tonight and they had locked the doors about ¹⁰⁄₁₅ minutes before closing. There were customers inside enjoying their food & only 1 person in line ordering. The guy looked really annoyed when I came up & shrugged his shoulders when I tried to open the locked door & just turned away from me.
My biggest pet peeve when it comes to restaurants is closing up before your business hours state simply because you wanna go home or when you get an attitude when a customer comes in. If you are out of something vital to your restaurant or something has happened where it is no longer possible to provide service then I completely understand. However it is your job to provide your services to paying customers until your stated closing hours. I have been to plenty of places that have gone above & beyond to help customers even way after closing, so it sucks this location was like this. Love Jersey Mike’s though! I’ll just visit another location!

So Jersey Mike’s may not seem like a place to write about. Oh boy, but it is my favorite lunch time spot. First they are specialists in above and beyond customer service. You hear a melodies of welcomes and hellos as you enter the door. Not to mention everyone is smiling and even asks about your day. I can’t tell you about the food choices because ive only ever had the Italian sub with bacon. My hubby and i silt a giant sub and leave there spending less than $ 20 for a meal that we can eat for lunch and dinner. Yes the don’t skimp on the food. Portions are humongous! Delicioso! Attention jersey mikes fans– if you do not try this location you are missing out! They have the freshest bread and their sandwich makers always get your order just right. They also give great service, delivering hot subs and any forgotten toppings to your table instead of expecting you to get up. This is a busy location and somehow they manage to keep the wait short and the tables clean (for the most part).

The staff here make this place great. They are always friendly, talkative and jovial. They are not lazy at all. I don’t ever see employees on their phones too busy to serve or help. The service has always been prompt and quick. It is not always this way at any given location, but the crew here is putting down a serious «service game.» Good job Falls of Neuse Crew.

I really like jersey mikes but I’m sick of the way they give out there bacon! You get 2 little pieces on a big sub and if you want a turkey bacon sub you can’t get the club sub minus the ham you got to pay $ 1.50 for extra bacon which is 2 pieces of bacon! It is just really stupid to me! I just may not go anymore! Bacon really isn’t that much!!!

In my opinion, this location is the best in the city. It is clear that their staff is very well-​trained, very knowledgeable about the products they serve and they deliver your sub efficiently and with a smile on their face! Every time I am near the location I choose to stop in and purchase a sub to support the great management of this location. Job well done!

It’s jersey mikes. It’s exactly what you’d expect from them. I happen to really enjoy their subs. But what brings me here to Unilocal today is the excellent customer service from all of the staff and especially the manager/​owner. I’m not sure if he’s the owner, but there is a guy there almost every time that runs it like he owns it. Kudos and keep up the good work.

This place is solid. Fast service. Friendly staff. Fresh subs. Clean establishment. I plan to come here more often when working on business in the area.
Forget subway.

I feel part of the success of a fast food restaurant is how well they operate during the busy times. I’m pleased to report that this Jersey Mike’s Subs did very well during my lunch visit. (around 12:30 pm for a Monday)
My guest ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap (grilled chicken, lettuce, shredded cheese and ranch) and I order the regular sized meatball sub. The staff was efficiently and politely keeping the line moving and having food ready when we reached the register.
I enjoyed the meatball sub. The regular sized sub was plenty for a lunch meal. Good marina sauce and plenty of meatballs. My guest liked the taste of the Chicken Caesar wrap, but thought it was heavy on the lettuce and lacking a bit on the chicken.
Noticed the employee taking the orders knew a lot of folks in the line and was good at greeting them without stopping the production line to chat.
Quick lunch service at a reasonable price.
