This is place is located inside the mall and almost didn’t try it until one of the workers asked me to try it. The food is pretty good, I had the spicy chicken pita wrap. Definitely better than most food court restaurants there. The staff is really nice and cooked the spicy chicken for me when I ordered it. Would definitely come back.

Honestly not bad for a food court place. Working at a Lebanese deli with completely amazing food has sort of made me a Mediterranean snob, but Kabobi definitely has some good offerings. I got a falafel pita with sweet rice. Their falafal isn’t bad. The pita was definitely a good size, and had plenty of toppings like lettuce, tatziki, cucumber, and tomato. Their sweet rice was on point… so delicious and I could have made a meal just from that. Plenty of cinnamon, raisins, and carrots. A generous helping, too. One nice thing is there is something for everyone… low carb, vegetarian, halal, gluten free… so many options for those with dietary restrictions. My meal was just over $ 8 with a drink, pretty in line for a restaurant with healthier options(Crisp, Greek Fiesta, etc) in the food court. I should also note that the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Some of the best customer service I’ve had in a while.

I actually really enjoy their food I’ve been coming here on and off for the last three years. I would come more often but I have a dislike of the mall crowds makes me a bit antsy. But that is besides the point. The food is served fresh and fairly well priced. I highly recommend the lamb shank the meat is full of flavor and falls off the bone.

Best food I had during my visit and it was from a food court! The service was also great, huge serving.

First time having food here, and the food is pretty good, but the portions are incredibly small for the price! Paid almost $ 8 for this platter! Portions barely filled the plate, incredibly disappointing for the price. Not even a full pita bread! Would have loved it much more had they only given a bigger portion. Can pay $ 8 at another Mediterranean restaurant and received better service and quantity.

Wasn’t extremely impressed. We felt a little pressured to eat here because the nice lady kept handing us samples of meat… There is another Greek restaurant a few spots down, and I really wanted to try that place. I had the lamb kebob with hummus and salad. I probably won’t go back, I give them those stars because they were very friendly.

Friendly smiles and healthy food. I had the chicken with hummus and tabbouleh plus a huge iced tea for under $ 10. Food was great but not outstanding, however this is an oasis in the barren land of frozen chain food. Thumbs up//

I have tried many kabob places in Los Angeles and New York City and this is by far the best I’ve tasted! The kabobs here are so flavorful, the rice is sooo yummy(I can eat it by itself!) I live 2 hours away from Raleigh, and every time I crave for kabobs, I go here! That’s how good this place is! In fact, I will be driving there again tomorrow! Lol! The owner and staff are very nice, too! Five stars, no, 10 stars for this place! A must try! You will be hooked. Thank me later! Ciao!

Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible. Enjoyable food court cuisine. Don’t come here expecting the quality you get at more established Mediterranean places around the Triangle.

Fresh fast food and warmed up. I love their ground sirloin and lamb kabob. Very tender and seasoned well. Love the thin Arabic bread too. The cabbage and okra was good with the meat.

Delish! I had two Kabobs, lentil rice and Cabbage, All very tasty! I loved the flamed tomato and their yogurt sauce! So fresh and healthy! It was hard to change our beloved Terryaki while at Crabtree but we are trying to eat healthier so this was a great change of pace!

This was a pretty good meal for the price. It reminds me a little of Greek Fiesta, which is also here. I got the beef kabob and jasmine rice. It comes with a side of tzaki(sp) and pita. The sauce tasted really fresh and home made, and the rice was tasty and cooked just right. Both of those were better than GF’s. The kabob was flavored well, but had a lot of fat in it, I liked GF’s kabobs better. Next time I will try a different kind of kabob, but otherwise very tasty!

This place is very underrated. First of all the food is great. All the meats are good(I personally like the lamb and beef). The rice sides are excellent particularly the sweet rice with carrots onions raisins and cinnamon. I would try everything. The prices are way better than most Mediterranean places and mall food in general, and they don’t skimp on the meat which most other places seem to do. The service is also fantastic, and they always are willing to give out samples if you want to try something. Unfortunately people seem to ignore this place which is sad because the food is really good, and probably healthier and better quality than the other options at the mall. I thought it was way better than hectors, and if I lived closer to the mall would probably eat here regularly(which is something I wouldn’t normally do at a food court in a mall).

I am giving the place 2 stars. The food was ok. The bread was really hard. I will not be spending my money there again. That and take note. The drinks get 1 refill. You do not get a second refill. This is policy. So if you are going to eat there. I would recommend getting a drink at another location. That or the bottle drinks may be good.

We had a work luncheon catered from here today and Sam was awesome. We ordered way more food than we needed, but that’s ok because we got leftovers!!! We’ve been coming here for 6 – 7 years now and the food is always consistent. We will cater our next luncheon with Sam as well!

There are a lot of fancier Persian restaurants in the Triangle, but if you want the best Persian FOOD in the triangle, Kabobi is where it’s at. Trust me, I’m Iranian, and I’ve tried all the others. Yes, it’s true that Kabobi in the mall. It’s weird, it’s annoying, but there it is: the best Persian food in the area is in a godforsaken mall. I hate malls(which I’m guessing you’ve already guessed by now), but I go just for Kabobi. That’s how good it is. Oh, and there’s a candy store and a Sanrio store right by the food court which I usually visit while I’m there, which makes me feel a little better about having to enter a mall, but mainly, I just go for the kabob and do my best to ignore the crazed consumerism. Oh and bonus, the staff is so wonderful that you almost(I said almost) forget you’re in a food court when you’re interacting with them.

Today I purchased a lamb platter here. 40 mins later I began feel hot and queasy. then not to be crude but the symptoms of food poisoning increased to diarrhoea and lightheadedness. I am now in bed with cramps, nausea and throwing up. If it doesn’t improve I’ll be off to the doctor tomorrow. Hooray. Thanks guys!

Interesting place. Not traditional fast food, but fast food nonetheless, and probably healthier than that clown place, the redheaded square place, the royalty place and even the place that moo’s a lot but isn’t open on Sundays. I was on a mission — from God! But my grumbling stomach was putting that mission on hold. I needed lunch, and I needed it fast. I whisked my family away from church and headed to the mall to see what offerings I could find before I truly embarked on my mission. My bride and I browsed around with disappointed looks on our faces until her face brightened up and said«Let’s Try Kobabi!» Oh-Kay! We stood back from the counter, reviewing the menu before making our choices, all the time being waved in to try something on a toothpick. I waved the folks off who were waving meat laden toothpicks at us and finally dove in with my order. Nothing special, just a plain meal, I think it was the chef’s platter — one meat, a salad and rice. The rice appeared to have lentils in it, not my favorite, but edible. The lamb was terrific! The mediteranean cucumber salad was also a hit. In reality, Kabobi is a breath of fresh air compared to many of the food court places. I’m glad to have been able to give it a try. Mission accomplished on a full stomach!

We found it interesting that the food court at Crabtree Valley Mall would have two such similar spots as Kabobi and Hector’s. It gave us a chance to have a head to head eat off between the two — at least on several items — or 4, really. The Chicken Kabob was one item — and the kabob here is good, just not as good as Hector’s. There was no nice grill exterior crust on the chicken, and there was a yellow tint to the meat, but no supporting flavor aspect — Turmeric? The Grape Leaves were also a strong tilt to Hector’s. The ones here had a nice mint taste, but the texture was soft and mushy. The«bread» here was thin, hard, and tasteless — like hardtack — not really sure what it was, but I didn’t care for it, and no way you could ever wrap it around anything. The Tzatziki was a closer contest, but though neither was stellar, Hector’s was a little thicker, a little more flavorful. The sides here, Okra(steamed or braised) was not memorable, and the other, Chickpeas & Green Beans, was at best an interesting set of items, but no less bland for the uniqueness of the combination. Game. Set, Match — Hector’s. .
