Very good tasting oatmeal, mixed with fruit. Healthy and fresh tasting and inexpensive. Service at counter was pleasant and efficient.

What a great deal! So, the other day, I stopped at this WONDERFUL McDonalds for the 2 Egg McMuffins for $ 3 deal. HOLYMOLY I had no idea what I was going to get next — I actually watched the guy turn the crank ANDNEXTTHINGYOUKNOW I SAWTHEBREAKFASTMENUCHANGEINTOTHELUNCHMENU!!! YES, THATISRIGHT, I ORDEREDBREAKFAST, ANDNOWITISLUNCH!!! I am beside myself how awesome of an experience this was, and I will happily come back to the McD to get some more AWESOMEEGGMCMUFFINS! And truthfully I’m a SAUSAGE Egg McMuffin kind of guy, but this was just over the top!

I’m only writing this because I need to edit my previous review. Somewhere, either my gps or a sign, I saw that this one was open 24 hours. Twice I went around 12 and they were closed. I now see that they close at 12 I think. My apologies McDonalds. Everything besides that was good. I often go there to get a caramel mocha(so good!!!) early in the morning.

The resolution to this issue: A free coupon for an extra value meal and a curory voicemial left on my phone. Not impressed with McDonald’s customer service! You took an opportunity to delight a customer and squandered it.

I have been to this @McDonaldsRalNC countless times. Would even come here to do group study with the rest of my college classmates. Hey, they have free WiFi that didn’t suck, plus food. They are generally faster at times than some other McDonalds. But even though they started as a McCafe, and not a McDonald’s, they have remodeled a couple of times to add drive-thrus and expand their menus and eliminated some items. There are in a convienent location, and have a nice place to sit, watch TV, read the paper, enjoy a fire, or even sit outside with your pet, as they don’t have a playground, and have a more adult oriented design and layout. #305

I spent about 33 minutes in the drive thru line last night. I placed my order, and was told the soda machine was out. So, I substituted a sweet tea. I pulled around but had to wait about 10 minutes before I could get to the first window to pay. Once I paid, it was fairly quick getting to the second window and getting my food. I pulled away and proceeded back to my house. Along the way I took a sip of my tea, and realized it was not sweet. I turned around, went back and re-entered the drive thru line. I told the person at the drive thru that I had just been through the line and my tea was not sweet. They told me to pull around. Again, I waited another 10 minutes before I made it to the first window, where I restated that my tea was not sweet. Rather than assist me, he told me to pull up to the next window. I still had to wait several minutes before this was possible, but I got there. Finally, I get to the second window, and it was about 90 seconds before someone came to assist me. They were running low on sweet tea, but eventually I got the tea replaced and verified, and was on my way. But, I was not happy about the wait.

Since the food is made to McDonald’s standards, the only thing I can comment on that you may not know about is the service. The employees at this location are all very kind and sociable. I often get compliments on my clothes/makeup/car, and, whether their comments are genuine or not, who can turn down a place with fast, decent food and employees who stroke your ego too?

It’s McD’s, what more do you want?!? The one cashier was friendly, but my oatmeal was soupy. I did win a free small fry with the Monopoly game going on.

It’s McDonald’s can it really be more than A-Ok. I was hungry and in a hurry. We went through the drive thru. It was relatively quick. The food was good(a ranch-crispy chicken wrap). The food wasn’t over fried and the people were friendly.

Since it is located close to my office, this tends to be the McDonalds I hit up most. It’s a McDonalds so the food is pretty much the same as at any other McD’s. I’m partial to the McDouble on the $ 1 menu and the 2 for $ 1 hashbrowns(which not every location offers). This was one of the first locations to go with the more«upscale» look on the inside. They do a good job keeping it up and the location is generally very clean. The service is pretty good, although for someone who rolls up in there about once a week it would seem they might be a little more personable when I come in there. The Starbucks a block over gave me the«you’re a regular now» look and smile after about 2 visits. This is apparently one of their training locations so you may be more likely to encounter a new employee when placing your order, and which may contribute to the lack of regular status familiarity. This location can get pretty busy. I’ve seen the drive-thru backed up to the street(and they have the double lane action here), but they do seem to be pretty good at getting folks through the line both there and inside.

My son loves the McNugget Happy Meal, so I find myself going to McDonald’s quite a bit. This McDonald’s is conveniently situated a short drive from the North Regional Library. The last time my son and I went to this location, the cashier kept trying to guess my order. He got it wrong. I must look like a Snack Wrap kind of guy. While I was waiting for our food, he did it to the people in line behind us. Talk about annoying. This location has a Play Place for the kids. I’ve never personally clean one of those play areas. Ever. Best case, they get cleaned at the beginning or end of the day. Needless to say, I didn’t let my boy go play in there. Also, they play Fox News on the TVs. I was subjected to Glenn Beck for the duration of my meal. I hope that stuff doesn’t subconsciously seep into my child’s brain. Change it to Nickelodeon or Disney Channel.
