Some of my friends wanted to come here again, and this time some of us wanted to bring in some Taco Bell cause they weren’t in the mood for McDonald’s. Next thing we know, the manager is kicking us out and threatening to call the cops on us… even though a majority of us were eating their food. The managers a prick and has 0 respect for his customers. It’s restaurants like this that make me wish there was a 0 star

Back in the early summer, I liked hitting up this McDonalds because they were open when I needed them to be while every other place(besides Cookout) was closed. I go into work around 3am and I routinely hit this spot for breakfast. It’s pretty bad fast food, so I use them sparingly if I can, but when I’m starving, it’s either this place or the moderately tasty burgers at Cookout down the street. During the summer, when I started going there, they offered a limited menu, but the lines were managed timely and everything worked. Then, sometime later, two employees there were arrested for skimming credit cards. and while that really sucks(thank God I wasn’t a victim) ever since the news broke, this FF place went from a high 3.5 to my barely rational low 2.0. They must’ve been badass workers. Thieves and cretins of horrible moral character — but impressive workers. Now, I can’t go to this spot without some bullshit being handed out or something ridiculous happening. One morning, I ordered two burgers and a small fry. They said they were only selling meals and I HAD to include a drink in order to get my food. Yes, you read that right — they didn’t have the ability to charge me for two burgers and a fry at 3am. I went to Cookout instead. I go to Cookout pretty often, really, after being let down by this mediocre business. Further, I hit the drive thru one night and ordered an orange juice, which they rang up, but couldn’t get the machine to work. Other times, my order has been rung up wrong and I’ve struggled with getting them to understand order requests in perfect English — and they spoke perfect English, which makes it so weird. In short, I come here only because I feel like I have to. When those women get out of jail, I hope they get hired back and turn that place around. I’ll just use cash.

I absolutely love this particular McDonald’s. I have been coming for several years and have recently noticed a major improvement in the quality of their food. No matter when I go, the nuggets are always hot and fresh. They are also more up to date with the chains’ food specials; more so than other locations nearby. The cashiers are also pretty friendly. I would suggest completing the feedback surveys at the bottom of your receipt(s) in order to receive a free sandwich! It is a great environment for eat in dining, with the big screen televisions, booths, and overall ample seating. This location is also very clean, including the bathrooms. Definitely my go-to McDonald’s!

They always get my little orders wrong. I ordered fish filet without the bread and nice drive-thru cashier recommended it be on lettuce. What did I get? The sandwich… yeap, bread and all… NO lettuce! SMH

A nice NCSU theme McDonald’s. No play area, so less kids. Sports on tv. The famous service saticsfation. I ask for fresh fries, I get hem every time, cause I’m a pimp

Went through the drive-thru. They were extremely slow, rude, and disappointing. I ended up getting food from the nearby Cook Out instead.

This McDonald’s was completely torn down and rebuilt with the new refresh design typical of most McDonald’s seen nationally. However inside this is a very inspirational McDonald’s with tributes from famous NC State coaches. Inside has a feeling that you are in a large arena overhead with large murals highlighted with ambient lighting. There is a McCafe inside as well. A double drive thru that seems very organized. The best feature is that this McDonald’s is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week(open inside too). The bad? well this location in just 6 months looks as if it has been around for several years. The wooden floor that has the Wolfpack logo is showing heavy wear and tear. Also the seating is starting to show rapid signs of aging. As for the food? It just depends. I can honestly say that the food is served warm. I just don’t find the burgers to be off the grill or hot tasting. The french fries is hit or miss when it comes to temperature. The chicken nuggets seem always cold. The sodas are self serve. The apple pies are so so and never really hot(like the packaging warns us that it will be hot). Bacon on burgers tastes like bacon crisps. Just very dry like most of the burgers. The shakes taste average. The hot fudge ice crème is never hot fudge. its just two presses from the pump and served. Basically my experience is a wow factor when I walk in with the seating and atmosphere only to be served below average food. The parking lot usually has one or two people aggressively begging for money which management never seems to do anything about. Restrooms also have aggressive begging. Students from local universities have voiced concerns about safety from aggressive beggars or homeless individuals. There is free WiFi but that too is hit or miss sometimes. The 4 large overhead TVs usually have ESPN but without closed caption. This McDonald’s was supposed to air all NC State televised sporting events however staff does not seem to have knowledge of how to change channels. This McDonald’s after several visits have been lumped into the rest of the chain as another conveyor belt for food.
