Disgusting menudo. The worst I’ve ever had. The enchilada sauce tastes horrible, and they don’t use shredded beef in the rolled tacos… or anything for that matter. It’s ground beef that is hardly seasoned. What kind of Mexican restaurant uses ground beef instead of shredded beef? Yuck. The only good thing was that the staff was really nice and they had radishes on the condiment bar. B

I absolutely LOVE the food here and if I was rating based on that, I’d give them a 5. However, the drive thru has the absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. First of all, if you want a simple meal you should be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes for you to receive it, even if you’re the only car in the drive thru. The other day after a long day of school and work I decided to stop here for a burrito. I know that the drive thru service is slow because I always stop here, so I was prepared for that. But I wasn’t prepared to NOT get service. There was one car in front of me and after they ordered and pulled up to the window I pulled up to order and I was there for 10 minutes with no response from the lady inside. She didn’t even tell me to hold on a second or anything. There was just no service. I tried saying«hello» a couple times and even backing up and pulling forward again hoping to get their attention, but there was nothing. The car in front of me finally got their food, so I pulled up to the window hoping to order there. I was at the window for almost another 10 minutes before I finally left. I honked my horn and waved and tried to get their attention but the lady inside just pretended she didn’t see me. I saw her inside standing against the wall not even doing anything while little boy was running around delivering the food to the dine in customers. There were at least 3 other ladies back there, and none of them came to my service. I finally had to leave because there were cars behind me, and it was obvious I wasn’t getting any food. I was very disappointed with this service. Like I said, I already was prepared for slower service because I go there at least once a week. But this is the worst service I have ever received. After almost 20 minutes of waiting, I left with nothing. Sadly don’t know when I will be trying this place again.

This place is expensive considering it’s a taco shop. Their drive thru is a nightmare. Food takes a ridiculous amount of time to order and twice as long to get. Considering, this taco shop barely gives a proper amount of hot sauce, they have the audacity to over charge for extra salsa. Big disappointment. These people need to get their act together.

Bad. I ordered chicken tacos and got rolled tacos instead. They were served with that nasty watery fake guacamole. I told the woman at the counter it wasn’t what I ordered and she was not helpful. Just kept telling me those were the rolled tacos I ordered and did not fix it and give me what I actually ordered. I’ve worked in fast food so I know the deal– don’t argue with your customer. By default I do not trust anywhere that serves avocado water and calls it «guacamole»(we’re in Cali, what’s the excuse for that?!). Can’t comment on the taste but the rolled tacos were dripping in grease, covered in green water, and the service was bad. I walked out.

Spent Monday throwing up, not sure if it was the guacamole or the meat, bathrooms were sub-par as well. I’m sure we will be back as my wife likes your beef tacos. The lady behind the counter was nice too.

My wife and I found ourselves in Ramona searching for a window mount air-conditioner. All of the retail stores in my area were sold out and the nearest one was in Ramona, nearly an hour away. Mission accomplished with the A/C unit safely stashed in the back of my car we realized we were hungry and stopped by Mi Ranchito Taco shop, Now my wife is Latina and can cook like nobody’s business so I know what real good Mexican tastes like and let me tell you, Mi Ranchito is AWESOME, I had a carne asada burrito, very flavorful and the service was top notch. We will make a return trip for sure

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Ramona. Guacamole was on point. I stopped coming here due to a huge decline in food and service. Maybe one day I can come back and update my review.

I overreacted in my previous review and have been back since and have been ok with the food. I have been told by friends that the milkshakes here are the absolute best but I have yet to try it. It seems weird to order milkshakes at a taco shop but hey, it’s Ramona, so go with it.

Food was OK. But holy cow, 18 minutes to craft a bean egg and cheese burrito? At least 7 people in there working and nobody inside ordering. I wonder if the chicken was getting testy and refused to lay an egg?

I love carne asada buritos. These guys used to be good. The last time I was there it was mostly lettuce. I don’t like any lettuce and it does not belong in carne asada. We don’t come here anymore.

This place is terrible. The food looks nothing like the pictures they have. I took a chance coming here based on a couple reviews and I will never be back. Nothing close to mexican food. It’s worse than food from a snack bar. I should’ve went to AMPM across the street for a hot dog. Do not come here!

I used to go here all the time. Their lunch and dinner fare was very good. Then I went for breakfast. Ew. Just ew. Bucket eggs. For those of you who want to know, bucket eggs are all the eggs that come from the egg farm that didn’t make it into a carton for reasons of low quality, breakage and sometimes even near spoilage(the returns from the market). These are all shelled and mixed into a vat, loaded with Potassium Sorbate and/or citric acid to keep them from stinking too much or turning gray and sold in 5-gallon buckets to volume restaurants. Basically, it is real egg(or was) but the end product, which can be only scrambled or an omelet, is crap. When I want eggs, I want real friggin’ eggs. Not bucket eggs, not the cardboard shit from Subway, real eggs. Otherwise you get ^^ 2 stars. Truthfully, I never gave them 5 stars as the service was always slow and a bit rude. Maybe they just don’t like my gavacho ass. I don’t know. Anyway, I’ve moved on. Ciao Mi Ranchito.

Ate here for the first time yesterday. I’m from escondido And know good Mexican food. But this place was good! I got the carne asada burrito and the meat was great with no fatty chunks. I think it’s a little tacky to tape a sign on the drive thru menu that says” no we do not serve mini street tacos”. If so any people are asking for them then you might need to add it to the menu. I also thought it was strange that they charge for extra hot sauce but was happy to see that the containers of it are large. Went again and got the chorizo burrito, the eggs were cooked a little too long and the chorizo wasn’t spicy and looked more like ground beef. But the carne Assad burrito I will go back for!

This place has really good food and is probably one of my favorites in San Diego but the terrible service and every time I ask for green sauce they act like its gold. I purchased 3 burritos came to 19 dollars and I asked for 6 green sauce 2 for each burrito sounds fair. The lady ignores my request and gives a giant container of their tomato soup red sauce and 2 green. It’s ridiculous that they refuse to give you any green sauce. I will not be eating here anymore because I refuse to pay for green sauce after that expensive of an order. I will be going to Salsas because they give me a bottle or any amount. I’m so over this place. I get home and they screw me over with my request.

Extremely disappointed. This place is overcharging for burritos that are mostly tortillas. I got the supreme burrito which only consisted of condiments. A waste of money. I will never eat here again.

Used to be a favorite of mine but this past year, horrible. I have to ask for extra guacamole just to get close to the average amount any other taco shop gives. And still, that«extra» is barely any. I asked for(and pay for) extra lettuce and extra guacamole on rolled tacos last night. I got 3 bits of lettuce on the bottom of the rolled tacos and the guacamole was brown… meaning old. I measures and it was a bit more than a tablespoon of guacamole. Today, husband decided to give another shot. California burrito with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, meat and potato. Ya… I got no guac and a tad sour cream in the middle. No cheese. It was so dry! Well… we are now done.

We’re somewhat new to the area(Ramona, not San Diego), and my daughter wanted a bean and cheese burrito and a cheese quesadilla. I went through the drive through and ordered just that… after receiving our food I got the quesadilla out for my daughter and found that it was made with processed American cheese. pretty bad. she didn’t mind of course because she’s a kid. when we got home I shared bean and cheese burrito with my daughter. it tasted like paste with a dash of salt. I didn’t think it was possible to screw up a bean and cheese burrito but wow. ok so checked it off the list of places to try and now I know. :)

Everytime: The Breakfast Burrito. I dream about it. I’d marry it if I could. You know what? I will marry it. You can’t stop me. You’re just a non-believer. Don’t try to hold me down. I’m not gonna live by your rules anymore. I’m gonna marry a damn burrito. We love each other and we know the world is ours. You got a problem with that? Salsa Bar is exceptional.
