I don’t even know where to begin but why oh why do their cups smell? they smell like they were washed with stagnant water! The staff was just there waiting for the day to end just sitting around. The waitress that was supposed to be greeting guests up front was sitting at a table next to me just there texting and reading a book. The one waitress never even came back, we had to send someone to go get her. This is by far the worst Ihop I’ve been to.

I am a huge fan of IHOP, but this location is beyond terrible. I went with my dad for breakfast and we were seated right away. It took a little over 10 minutes for the waiter to come over and take our drink orders. He then disappeared for a good 15 minutes, and we placed our order when he came back with our coffee. After 30 minutes of waiting, we paid for the coffee and left. I will not be returning to this location. Do the population of Northern New Jersey a favor and just close your doors for good.

This location is great, as long as you go at the right time. Midmorning on a saturday is my usual choice. There’s usually not a wait and the service is decent. It doesn’t take long for the food to arrive. My server didn’t know what grapefruit juice was, he asked me what color? Yikes! Other than that, no complaints. I do wish they’d bring back the eggnog pancakes. They’re superb!

Cups Smelled like wet rags and breakfast food was the worse i ever had at a Ihop in the area. Bus boys where just kicking back and hostess was reading a book and only got up when people came in. This place did not feel like Ihop not one bit.

I usually love IHOP, I usually know or expect what I am getting when I go there. This is not that kind of IHOP! The service is the literally so bad it ruins the experience and meal. The food was sub-​par, came out cold and over salted. However, I added a star for the blueberry pancakes which were decent. I never got a second soda, I wait 15 minutes to pay the check and to be honest it was bad.

The only thing that really is consistent with this place is the bad service, the people that work here don’t look very happy either. I never had a problem with the food. It can make me feel sick after eating it sometimes but I can’t say there has been a time where I would say I wouldn’t come back here anymore. I continue to come here just not a lot. When I’m in the mood for breakfast this is the place to go.

Worst ever. Came here last weekend with my dad Saturday around 7:30PM, and there was a woman outside turning people away. She must’ve been a waitress and she told us and one other couple that «there’s only two cooks and we just got a huge party of 20 people». UH WHAT. So we had to leave. LOL. Never in my life have I ever been turned away. I will never go back to this ihop ever. What a joke!!!

I went to this ihop on Monday July 13, 2015 and it was horrible, first off we had to wait about 40 minutes to get our meal and when the meal came it was all done wrong we called over the manager and after complaining we left without eating or paying so if your planning on going there don’t go to the one in spring valley NY it only took seven minutes to get our meal and just in case you want to ask … Yes it was busy !

The service sucked big time. The waitress took our order and never returned to table to fill water or any coffee or half and half. The other waitress, every time we asked for something they asked us back who is your waitress and she should be helping you.
The food was good, but it came after 50mins of placing the order. The waitress gave us our check when we just started to eat.
Pathetic experience.

Came here for breakfast before work, seating time was okay but food taking too long so far to get an mocha iced coffee and an California omelette. Omelette is cold and the pancake that came with it is okay being warm.

I can’t believe people gave this one star! I’ve eaten at both rte 17 locations, and this was the better of the two. Crowded Saturday, waitress was great. I only order breakfast. usually the country fried steak and eggs. It was perfect. Lots going on around us with kids entertainment. Always a good meal at ihop.

Took an hour for us to get our pancakes, and both our coffee cups had lipstick stains from prior use… Waitress was very very nice and took care of us, but the management could care less. When we Tried to redeem our gift card, the waitress needed access to the computer that only her manager had access to, he was on the phone and couldn’t help her, so in turn couldn’t help us.
It is clear that cooks, management, and wait staff are not working together at all.

This is quite honestly one of the nastiest IHOPs that I have ever been to. Second only to a location I visited in Los Angeles.
Despite the currently existing bad reviews, I decided to give this place a shot anyway, since I always went to IHOP at night whenever I needed to get work done back at my home in Dallas.
I ordered a Bananas & Crème Belgian Waffle, and it was cold, stale, and almost completely inedible. The only thing that prevented me from complaining to a manager was the fact that the server I had was working on his first day, and I didn’t want to make his day sour.
I will most likely never be returning to this location ever again.

Wow Disappointment!
I had a Buy one Get one Coupon I had printed out from IHOP the Day before I went.
I am a Member of their «club»
I drove out of my way to this location and the Assistant Manager on Thursday 12⁄18 1:30 pm White 40ish Declined to Accept it!
Said I could come back Tomorrow and speak with the Manager!
YOU are the Manger when he isn’t there! Or CALL him or CALL IHOP and Validate it!
I had printed my coupon on a «previously» used paper so it was a little harder to decipher but not Really. I showed him my Member # My Name the Group # and the Expiration on the coupon Everything was Readable so there really was ZERO excuse to lose a customer and get this Terrible review.
It was a 7 $ Meal!!!
So yeah NOT a Fan!
Hope the «Manager» has a talk with that gentleman.

Waited 45 minutes after given the standard 15 to 20 minute wait. Then AFTER finally sitting down we were told they were working only with one grill! So as a result the food could take 1 hour to come out! We were then told they should have told us after given our name… We’ll we were not! Got up to leave and asked to speak to the manager. We were told he was in the back and would be with us shortly. After 20 minutes we could not wait anymore, really hunger at this point and figured he or she was hiding in the back! Avoid this IHOP at all costs!

The service was horrible. I went here last night with a large group that consisted of clients from a group home and I presume the hostess we «amused» her when we entered in the establishment. The hostess could not hold in her giggles when she saw us and had to cover her mouth with her hand because she was laughing so hard. The waitress who served us joined the hostess by rolling her eyes and shaking her head when we entered. This establishment needs a new hostess and servers before it is threatened for a law suit. Absolutely disgusting. I hope these people sleep well at night.
