Applebee’s

Long day and all I wanted to do was eat good in the neighborhood, haha. Out with the family, seated right away and our server was Anthony. Anytime we’ve opted for Applebee’s, it’s always been a positive experience. I am not sure what happened this time. The food came out great. In fact, my steak was perfect! But the service, that’s another story. Maybe the server was having an off night. He brought drinks, but never refilled them. The dirty appetizer plate sat at our table until we asked him to take it away when he brought dessert. He checked on us once during our entire meal. No bueno! I’m not saying I will NEVER go back, the steak was too good for that, but it may be some time before I opt for this location.

I don’t usually come to Applebee’s, but today I feel like I had to rave about the great service and great food. My mom love her shrimp and chicken. I loved the cheese stick with the amazing sauce! Not to mention how attentive and friendly Anthony our server was. My little brother even wanted to order another cheeseburger because he enjoyed it so much. Great job Applebee’s. And great job to Anthony. We will be coming back

Lol so this was definitely a rare, yet eye opening experience for us at Applebee’s. So I don’t know what happened, but it took 50 minutes to get our food out to us. Not only did it get tiresome with the waitress telling us twice «Sorry, we are still trying to locate your food in the kitchen. We are doing the best we can.» But when my particular order came out, they burnt my bacon! I waited 50 minutes for them to bring my food out late and burnt! Very superficial response from the manager and my waitress. No one seemed to truly care about their lack of performance and inadequacies. A real shame.

I received a gift card for Christmas to this fine establishment. I have a thing going on with the Fiesta Salads on any Applebees menu. Not to mention the excellent baked potatoes. !
Simple I know but oh so good. I always get the chicken on the side from the Fiesta salad and bring it home for my doggies. This always goes over big with the kids with fur.
The baked potato was huge and salted skin. Served with real butter.
Excellent. They do have healthy items besides the richer choices
Service is very good too. I have never come across a grumpy to help you person. Most of the Applebees are busy. They do a good business with their sports bar. Lots of tvs with sports on all day. Which I like .
Seating comfortable with plenty of booths.
Good choice for casual eatomolgy.

Our waiter Anthony never let my Shirley Temple go dry, and gave us great service. I’m surprised the place was near empty at 8 o’clock on a Saturday night. We got the 2/​$ 25 dinner special and it was pretty good. So 5 stars! :)

Worst service ever! It took 30mins to get our drinks and another 20 to get our appetizers, and 20 to get our food. The food was good but the extra «clean» plates they brought out were filthy. It took like 30 mins for us to get the check situation figured out. Honestly the worst Applebee’s experience I’ve ever had, and I go to Applebee’s at least twice a week. But this was my first and last time ever at this location.

3 of us came here for lunch. I enjoyed my whiskey chicken, my husband enjoyed his chicken and shrimp, my friend did not get excited about her burger. Pickles and bacon cooked in sounds good to me, but apparently it didn’t cover the whole surface so it wasn’t in every bite. Bartender was great.

The food was very good, but when we walked in and waited to be seated, the hostess saw us and continued to talk to her friends. We had to ask her to seat us, which in my opinion was very rude.

Sat us in a cold section on a cold and rainy day. Couldn’t get the order correct. Ran out of glass cups for hot drinks so serve hot chocolate in a styrofoam cup which got cold quickly. Food was below par. Then couldn’t make change correctly.

Well tonight’s experience was not the best… we sat ourselves first and foremost then when it came to get orders and drinks Misty took our order. Within minutes somebody brought plates for all of us and we all looked at each other confused to why we got plates sent to our table… After that somebody walked over with the wrong appetizer and then we waited and waited and waited… So then they brought out the mozzarella sticks which were delicious as always but it took another 25 minutes or so for our food to get there and it was not good from there… Misty only came around one other time asking if we wanted refills on our drinks or whatever and I told her I wanted a water she brought it back promptly and we never saw her again I spilled my water and no waiters or waitresses were around to help me out with my spill so we just sat there and we laughed it off. No waiters or waitresses came around to take our plates or anything as they just sat there with our empty glasses and the ice and water cup still on the floor from when I spilled we checked out of there and paid and I left unsatisfied do not go after 6 PM…

Great service! Salad was ready quickly and the portion size was perfect… a lot of times they short you, but not this location! 2 extra dressings just as I like it and I in didn’t even have to ask! Glad this is near work!

Yikes, I’ll definitely think twice before I ever go back. Came here around 4:00 on a weekday, and there weren’t that many other people there. Not crowded at all. However, the host warned us that they only had 2 servers on, so the service might be kind of slow. Dang– haven’t even sat down yet and already a red flag. Not a good start.
So they sat us at a table and so much time went by before we finally got a quick greeting. Our server said hello, took our drink orders, then disappeared for awhile again. We did not get our drinks until another 10 minutes or so had passed. Food also took forever to come out.
Our server was friendly enough and he seemed to be juggling a lot. Our negative experience wasn’t necessarily his fault. Because they only had 2 servers on, they were slamming him with all the tables that came in. I saw him running around, trying his best. He was good. I felt kind of bad for him.
This seemed to be management’s fault… why schedule only 2 servers at a time? Seems silly. The host even warned us at the beginning that service may be kind of slow because of this… surely the manager must have known too? If they did know, why weren’t the managers going around checking on the tables to pick up the slack, and offer us refills or ask how the service was, etc. Where were they? What a joke.
Slow service, poor management, and the place was kind of dirty. On top of that, the food wasn’t even that good.

The service here was friendly enough but I am just disappointed with the products. They have seemed to adopt the norm now a days. less for more. We got the 2 for $ 20 l. My ribs were small and overcooked, not hardly worth $ 10. My wife got a burger… bread, meat and mustard? $ 10? Just not worth the money or the wait.

We got Applebee’s to go today and it hit the spot. It is so nice you can order online, and then park in the to go spot and they bring it right out to you. Makes it so simple. Our order was prefect, she even went over everything when she brought out the food. I had been craving the won ton taco’s appetizer, and it was so yummy! Perfect Sunday thanks Applebees!

We stopped here for dinner on the way home from registering our team for a soccer tournament. The cedar salmon plank was overcooked thank gawd there was sauce on the top of the salmon. We also got the crispy chicken macaroni and cheese, this dish was spectacular. Everything is better with bacon!
Service wasn’t the best it’s felt like we waited forever for our food. We had conversations with other guess about how long we waited. This is a great place to take your kids.

This apple bees is poorly managed the waiter was over worked and could barely pay attention to his customers… The 2 for 20 is not a great deal. …Id rather go to chipotle… to take the family …

Get to apple bees. First off the place isn’t even that busy, they should be on top of things right? No, they were so slow getting our order out that I almost fell asleep at the table. I should mention we only gotten chicken strips and a side of fries. Then when they finally bring out the order they forgot my fries. Awful.

Tonight I went in with my family for dinner. When my server came to the table, I got the new server in training. His name was Nick. Let me start out by saying that nick was very pleasant and he was in training so mistakes are expected Especially under the pressure of being evaluated by a Trainer. His trainers name was Natasha, and she should not be ever allowed to train again. Nick gets 5 stars for keeping his cool under the pressure of such a rude trainer. However, If I could give zero stars on Unilocal,that would go to Natasha for being so rude and making my experience less then pleasant.
Upon arrival, Nick proceed to take my order, He made sure to explain the menu and answered any questions that I had. He was very good about up selling without being to obvious or demanding. Which is a good thing in the restaurant industry. He read our orders back to us and our food came out fast and correct.
As he was placing our order, my mother asked him a question about the 2 for $ 25 menu which we had decided to order off of. Natasha Jumped the gun and interrupted him while he was answering the question for him and kind of snapped at me with her reply. It was almost like she was annoyed with training him. We begun to observe a little longer, and she did the same thing with just about every table.
Let me explain that servers are often times recognized for being friendly and energetic. Nick was both. However, I did not see one smile from Natasha the entire time that I was in the restaurant.
The table behind me had just came in, placed a drink order and was obviously going through the menu. I had heard Nick ask them if they were ready to order once and they said that they actually needed a little more time. Nick had walked by the lady’s and Natasha’s response was very rude. She stopped in front of the table and said (SO, WERE NOT TAKING THEIR ORDER) She used a extremely insulting voice when she said it and the little old lady’s that were at the table stopped from her conversation to give her a dirty look. When nick came back he politely took their order and checked back up on us.
I had a chance to ask Nick how long he had been with Applebee’s, because I like to get to know who is serving me and show them that I appreciate them as a person and they are not robots, He told me a little about his background with the company and they he was learning the ropes of serving. I thanked him for his good service and ensured him that he was doing a good job. He smiled and asked me if there was anything else that we needed. Inquired if we needed a box and even offered to help us box the rest of our meal up for us.
We were actually perfectly pleased with our new server. He will make a good manager or trainer one day. As for Natasha, she should have known better after 2 years with the company. We will specifically request that Nick serve s next time and will specifically request that Natasha not serve us. Natasha ruined the good dining experience we came in to have.

Close to home and reasonably priced – the appetizers and monkey knife fight beer is solid.
Ironically when I go (the evenings) they always seem to have happy hour going on and the crowd is reasonable. I can’t comment to the dinners, but the quesadillas in the appetizer are good.
The glasses are typically iced over when served and the pitchers cold. Overall 4 for the drinking-​related food and drink… and servers aren’t too bad either.

I haven’t been to an Applebee’s in years, and now I remember why. It’s terrible.
Our server Zach was extremely preoccupied with doing other things than serving us. He was talking to friends and other co workers by the bar.
Another server had to get us refills. And pre buss our table.
My husband and I were joking (kind of) about everything being microwaved there and sure enough, Zach brings us our food and says.“be careful it’s hot, just came out of the… mic — -then he stopped and says… cooker“
We all know it was microwaved! Just like the kids steak I got with the fake grill marks.
We won’t be returning to an Applebee’s probably ever.
