We had so much fun! AFter a group outing at the lovely Red Alcove, we strolled over to the KP Karaōke for more drinks and shenanigans. I’m normally a bit afraid of karaōke — I love to sing, but I don’t know the words or even tunes for any country songs or anything recent — my fave music is Sinatra & jazz. But this was a blast. This was more like a piano bar sing along, with everyone singing and passing the microphone around than a typical karaōke bar. They have private rooms, you’re with your friends, singing and having fun. No performance anxiety.

You Know It’s A Rockin Good Time At The«Copa Cabana!» SITREP Sure enough, SOMEBODY had to queue up Barry Manilow, and before you know it, we were ALL belting out«Lola» and«Rico» and the«Copa Cabana»! But amazingly enough, not one Abba song! THESETUP After a great dinner at The Red Alcove, our group danced on over to KARAOKEGANGNAMSTYLE for some great music, fantastic drinks, and hiLARious hijinx! My hats off to our lovely riend the«Irish Lass», and her partner in crime Steve — and all the friendly gals at «Gangnam», for serving us up a tall order of fun Karaōke! THELAYOUT This is actually a pretty amazing place when you check out all the rooms(14 in all that were in operation last night), of varying sizes, but all set-up with great sounds systems, tables and beverage & food service to each of the rooms. SONGS! The variety will blow your mind: * Virtually access to an unlimited number of English songs; * Over 60,000 popular Chinese & Korean songs; and, * Over 10,000 popular Spanish language songs! I got called up on deck and the two(2) that I had looked for — Crawling by Linkin Park, and Purple Hazy by Jimmy Hendrix — were both easily keyed into the pad. So if you can’t find the songs here, you probably won’t be able to find them anywhere else. BEVERAGEAMAZEMENT! I was actually surprised to find — and thoroughly enjoyed — MY favorite new drink of the year so far, and that is «Blackberry Rice Cocktail!» At only $ 8, it is a wonderful refreshing drink, and I will be back for sure for Karaōke Gangnam Style, but I will especially be back for that Blackberry drink! THELOWDOWN Such fun as our of our singing was amazing(…okay, we were buzzed, and things probably sounded better than they would have too more partial ears, but it was fun to watch Tiffany, Coral, Irish Lass, Heidi and the others(including myself) belting out the tunes! Truly an AMAZING night of Korean delights!

If you are a brave soul, someone with a great voice, or a lover of the Karaōke then this place is something to try! The is way different than my experience with Karaōke. These are private rooms that you and your friends can have all to yourself with multiple microphones and control boxes that control everything from the song choices to the tempo and much more. They have auto tune too for you shy people like me with no voice and tone deaf! I have always said I could never get drunk enough to sing in front of people but with this group of old and new friends after a fabulous meal next door I said«why not?» After a few drinks I found myself singing along and I think I might have had the microphone a time or two. If I can do it you can too. The rooms are comfy and they serve you drinks. I am thinking this could get a bit crazy up in here with the right group of people! Oh boy the possibilities are endless for an evening of fun come check them out.

This studio is owned by the grocery store next door. They just opened recently so everything is new and clean. I like that they serve food and drinks here, definitely feels more like a Korean noraebang compared to most places. They had a special where we got 1 hour in a small room for $ 15! That’s pretty cheap considering noraebang in the states is usually on the pricier side. I’d definitely come here more often if I lived in the area!

Went here with some friends for karaōke one Friday night. It didn’t seem that busy. They had special pricing which was awesome. I think we got $ 15/hour for a medium sized room. The sound was good. Compared to other karaōke places though, the selection for English songs was not as good. Also, the controls was a bit hard to use. Another nice thing was that they did not make you buy drinks as some other places do. Our final bill was pretty cheap and we had a lot of fun.

Awesome new karaōke place! Good song selection and nice, clean rooms. They tell you when your time is up and ask if you want to continue, that way you aren’t singing the night away and unknowingly racking up a bill. I would definitely go back!

Came here on the 4th of July with a friend. Walked in and was quickly greeted. The attendant was a cool guy and asked us what music we liked to sing and when we replied American and Korean he gave an enthusiastic, «Hell yeah!» And then they ask you how long you are planning to use the room. He then led us to our room, gave us a quick run through of the remote and karaōke system. Since the place is more like a traditional Korean noraebang, they give you a large book which has a list of all the songs in the system(separated by language) and then you input the songs by using a code and then you can sing away! Each room is a little different decorwise. When we were first taken to our room, the guy started telling us about the system, but stopped part way because he noticed the room was a tad warm. He noticed the air conditioning in that room was a bit off and asked us if we would prefer a different room instead. We then changed to a different room that had better AC. *Note if you’re used to going to indoor karaōke places like Oishii, there is no analog feature so it will be just you singing like you would at any other karaōke place(so no singing along with the original vocals to the song). They also score you at the end of the song out of 100 so that’s a little added bonus as well! The room will have two mics and tambourines. There will be a timer above on the karaōke system itself, so you don’t have to worry about getting too carried away and spending extra time paying for karaōke(remember these places charge by the hour, so it’s good be aware of the time). They control the time from the front counter so they can easily add time as well if you want to stay longer. The attendant also gave us some extra time for free just to get a hang of the system, because it can be a tad complicated at times. They give you a large remote that controls the whole system. It can be a little confusing, we only stayed about an hour so we felt like we were scrambling a bit to figure out which songs to sing and then how to input it into the queue. There’s a lot of functions on remote; you can search by language and by voice search,(although I didn’t quite figure out how to do this successfully) also pause, skip, and so on. Don’t let the system discourage you, it’s still fun and worth a try. And if you’re used to going to noraebangs at all then that will help too. I’ve been to both Oishii and Rurulala before this might become my new favorite karaōke spot(especially since Oishii has just raised their prices for karaōke). The attendant said they’ve been only open for about 6 months so this place still has their 30% promotional rates. For our small room we only paid around $ 24. They didn’t have food at the time, but said they would start doing that in about a week. Good service, very helpful, cool rooms and karaōke system. They also had a good selection of songs like random things like High School Musical to My Chemical Romance to Gotye to Destiny’s Child. Also they had a good selection of Korean music as well and recent Kpop too. Definitely would go again.

This review is based only through a phone conversation about their services: My company is thinking about doing a company outing and thought that karaōke would be a fun event! I had called last Monday afternoon, but was forced to leave a voicemail as they open up at 5PM. I requested someone to either call me or email me their inquiries, but unfortunately didn’t hear back from anyone(1 star knocked off). I had to call them on my off time and was able to reach someone within 3 rings. He spoke to me about the venue, how many rooms they have and for my size party, what would be best. I asked him about beverages and food and he stated that they were in the process of serving alcohol(they should have started this week on serving alcohol beverages). I told them that I would discuss with my boss and will determine if we can make it. Maybe they can advice people that they are able to host private parties during the afternoon? Didn’t ask if they did, but that’d be a nice tip since their hours typically start at 5PM.

I would give them a 3.5 if it would let me. They are fairly new so things should/will improve. They told me in a month they’ll be selling alcohol(currently only non alcoholic beverages). They also currently don’t offer food(besides little snacks) but you can bring in food from KP Plaza with a receipt(food only when we went). The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking isn’t an issue at all and it feels very safe(the security guard patrolling the plaza is extremely friendly). Currently rooms are 30 percent off(1-17-2015). In regards to the karaōke, I’ve gone to SKY, Oishii, and Rurulala before and I would rate this place in the middle. The system is like Rurulala with books and a control device. It is able to cancel, queue, etc. Sound quality is good, mics are lightweight, song selection(English) is smaller than that of Rurulala and SKY but there is still plenty of songs. The karaōke songs have no background vocals in them to help guide you so it can make it a little more challenging but if you’re used to karaōke it’s not an issue at all. The rooms are clean and are comfortable(pretty sure a lot of the stuff is from IKEA or looks like it is). The rooms have cubbies to place your stuff which is really nice and there is a garbage can in each room.

Finally stopped by this new spot right next to Koreana Plaza Market. It was quiet — no customers. We got a tour of all the rooms. Each one is different. The small rooms for 3 – 4 ppl are spacious. The equipment is new and my group was loving the mics — they were lightweight and picked up our voices really well. Bad thing about the system was that it was a bit difficult to navigate: song queue(unsure if it existed), cancel a song(too many steps). Volume control was great though — was easy to turn down the echo, change the pitch, and background volume. They have a pretty good selection of songs. The best part by far was the background videos! They were Korean(?) music videos, not those cheesy, old eastern European videos that other karaōke spots have. They have grand opening prices right now. AND, for now, u can bring in Koreana Market food and non-alcoholic drinks. U just have to show a receipt.
