Standard Teriyaki Restaurant. But ran by Koreans… So guess what?! Kimchee! I ordered the chicken Katsu and it was pretty darn good, and the Kimchee was great too. The décor… Could use some help. Restaurants in busy power lunch areas need to remember that their clientele will most likely be people who want to eat there… Kinda dirty feeling… But again, great food at a fair price.

The teriyaki sauce is great. Love the broccoli cole slaw. Family owned and the husband and wife do must of the work. They are super friendly.

I don’t understand why there are bad reviews, I’ve been here numerous times and had nothing but good experiences. Great customer service. They give you tons of food, and you even get a side salad always fresh. Cucumber and broccoli salad are my fav! Of course you can get«panda» but if you want great tasting, authentic, fresh tasting Teriyaki look no further. Also the Asian salad is a must try and my absolute favorite! You will not be disappointed I would NOT take any negative comments in consideration if you haven’t tried it here, give it a try you will be glad you did!

Like the others said, the chicken is dry. I really wanted to like this place because the owners are nice, portions are good, but the chicken really disappointed me. You can tell it’s precooked instead of grilling fresh chicken to order. I don’t think I’m trying this place again.

had been to this place before and had training in the area so thought I’d try it again. the chicken was SODRY!!! Their portion sizes are definitely good and the owners are very nice. My stomach hurt really bad after this meal and so did my co-worker’s. I won’t be back this time.

Been here a few times, the food is always good. The place can use an update, but its like a family ran business so im not expecting it will. They are somewhat hidden now that the bigger stores are over powering their presence. Doesnt get very busy here. They do give you a ton of rice with your meal.

The owners were so nice I wanted to like this place. Decent prices for an enormous amount of food. I got the chicken teriyakki plate with a side of the cucumber and another of the pineapple. I thought the chicken quality was extremely poor, but the terriyaki sauce was good. The sides were meh. Pros: nice owners, good teriyakki sauce Cons: very poor chicken quality I might give this spot another chance at some point.

This place is the nasty place I’ve been to bar none… I should have walked back out after seeing how dingy this place looked but decided to give it a try… It’s literally the first time I ever threw away my food after taking one bite. Something about the chicken tasted old and unhealthy. The rice was soggy and I can’t see why anyone would eat here…

Chicken was dry and the teriyaki sauce was mediocre. When we told the owner the chicken was dry he said«it’s supposed to be that way. It’s healthy choice with no fat». He seemed defensive and lacked customer service skills. I firmly believe the chicken was precooked and reheated before serving. My toddler usually loves teriyaki but he refused to eat this stuff, too.

First time here for lunch. Should’ve left since there were no other patrons; however based on good reviews decided to take the chance. The food was very disappointing lacking flavor and the noodles were dry. Registered our dissatisfaction with an older person who may have been the manager/owner. His response was rather rude as he stated that all his noodles are prepared the same way… DRY. Will not return here or recommend this business.

So this place is a total hole in the wall, but the quality of their food makes the somewhat less than stellar ambiance worth it. My favorite thing has got to be the sesame chicken! The batter is slightly peppery and generously applied, and always fresh and crispy. You can get your order on a bed of white rice, or substitute brown rice, broccoli, or a mixture of either. The brown rice is made in the rice cooker so it is chewy and perfectly cooked. If you want teriyaki instead, try out the shiromi(all white breast meat).

Love the teriyaki chicken with rice. I normally choose this over i love teriyaki simply bc of the potatoes. The chicken pieces are huge compared to thr others and great pricing too!

I used to LOVE this place back in the day. I remembered FRESH yummy food. I recently started working in the area again and decided to check it out today. WHATHAPPENED? Like one of the other Unilocalers indicated the chicken was soooooooooooo overdone and dry, I took a photo and uploaded it you can visually see how overdone the meat is. I came in at 10:30am there is no way this meat was fresh, it has to be left– over’s from yesterday. Same with the cucumber salad(which was my favorite) you can see the cucumber is wilted and turning a bit brown. I basically paid 10.00 for rice & pepsi.

I don’t know why this place received so many rave reviews and 5 stars. I was there yesterday w/a craving for teriyaki chicken and rice/veggies. Boy, was I disappointed! Not sure if I went too late(around 1:30) but the chicken was dry and flavorless. Tasted like they boiled the chicken and rely on the sauce to add flavor(that is one of my biggest pet peeves about restaurants that serve chicken teriyaki. Since my kids love it, we eat it everywhere we go & are kinda experts on the dish.) Anyhoo, I will never be back. I think it used to be okay but the owner said he’s the 3rd owner so maybe the cooking is different since I was there last(prob over a year ago). It’s a bummer since RC doesn’t have too many good lunch options(u can only go to Ike’s deli or Chipotle so often b4 it gets old).

You need to set proper expectations if you plan to eat here. It’s a Mom and Pop operation(older oriental couple). Pop is very stoic and down to business. He doesn’t smile, says little, and just gets down to the business of taking your order. Mom is just the opposite. Always smiling and happy. Asks how my mom is. Remembers my mom wants her chicken cut up into small pieces. Very cordial and considerate. The place is a bit rundown and parts of it could use a good cleaning, ceiling and walls. I see Pop mopping the floor at times. The food is not spectacular by any means. But it’s cheap, edible, plentiful, and doesn’t give you the bubble guts. Good place for a cheap fast lunch/dinner. Give Mom and Pop a try. These are hardworking common folk that deserve your business. Just don’t expect a 5 star meal.

The food was very salty and lacking in all departments. Tried to get a refund after a single bite and the owner screamed at me saying this wasn’t the Ross and I couldn’t get refunds. This was just an all around terrible experience and a waste of $ 30.

After browsing Unilocal for a quick lunch place, I made a to-go order over the phone at Nippon Teriyaki Bowl, the person on the other end was very polite and helped me customize my order(I wanted beef and broccoli with a tiny bit of rice, think they called it the super broccoli). I went to pick up my order expecting a mediocre lunch. But instead I was given a heaping portion of deliciousness that amazingly enough was followed up by a side dish of my choosing… the lady who was helping me, who I assume to be the owner of this mom/pop shop was very kind and generous. She pointed out things to get like additional sauces, napkins, and asked if I needed anything else. Beef was cooked just right, broccoli looked fresh, and even the rice was freshly cooked and looked to be of higher quality. Honestly, I was expecting a place run by un-caring workers that serve food with cheap ingredients, but I was wrong. I will be revisiting this place whenever I get a chance. Price is great, service is great, and most importantly the food is delicious.
