I love this place. The best teriyaki chicken sandwiches. Fries are also excellent. If they ask you whole or half, get the half, it’s a standard size sandwich. A few years back this place had soul… old azz pool table, scantly clad women pics on the wall. The owners would argue in Korean… I miss it man!

I loved my Bulgogi sandwich and the place had a pool table! I am defiantly coming back for another sandwich tomorrow! Just call me a regular now.

This place is great at what they do and that is provide you with a great tasting sandwich cold or hot, or a nicely flavored burger during your lunch break. The freezer is always stocked with cold drinks and there is a good variety all around, plus they have alcohol. The two amazing women that run this place work hard to make sure you have a great lunch experience. While you wait for your food you can sit and watch tv or shoot some pool.

It’s definitely not a four star restaurant, but it is a nice little place grab a delicious sandwich and a refreshing drink. I always get the BBQ chicken sandwich with fries. It’s very good! If you choose to dine there, you can relax and cool off inside, plus watch some tv or even play pool. They have outside seating as well.

This was my first stop at this café. I stopped by as I was waiting to for my car to finish getting smogged around the corner at Express Brake &STAR Smog( ). The gentleman there recommend Sunrise Café as a place to go and grab a bite instead of waiting at the shop. I had a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee. Both were great value for the cost, but didn’t blow me away, but I wasn’t expecting them too. I sat and watched some TV as I let the time pass and enjoyed my food. As another reviewer posted, they offer beer and have a pool table. This place is a little on the old side, but nothing out of the ordinary. As for the service, the owner was who assisted me and she gave great service and was extremely nice. She personally brought out my food when it was ready. I overheard the owner talking to an elderly couple. She knew their first names, asked about their grandkids, the exchanged stories and pleasantries and as the couple was leaving they ended the conversation by saying, «see you tomorrow morning!» She must be doing something right if this elderly couple comes here multiple times a week. I will definitely be visiting this place again to give their lunch menu a try. And when I do, I will update this review.

Came here for the first time to grab a quick bite as I was waiting on my car part, and found myself making more visits! It was very good! Their food is always fresh and they have a wide variety of sandwiches, including classics(turkey, roast beef, tuna, etc) but also specialty sandwiches like their grilled turkey bacon or their steak and cheese(which are my personal favorites). The owner is Korean and seems like a cool middle-aged man and it’s nice to see his family come in to help sometimes like his very cute and friendly teenage daughter. I will definitely come back more often.

Trying various delis in the area, walked in and thought I made the wrong decision. Ordered a turkey because the roast beef was out. Needed to make the $ 6 min for credit so I got potato salad which turns out to be made from scratch. The sandwich was good, the potato salad was awesome.

OK, people, what is Rancho Cordova known for? Big business parks, clubs of dubious nature and pick-and-pull auto part lots. Nestled deep in the heart of the third category is Café Sunrise. It’s small, it may not be the cleanest, but the owner is friendly and the food is good. On the advice of a co-worker, I headed down to find this hole-in-the-wall lunch spot and discovered a hidden gem. True, it may be a rough stone and not a polished jewel, but the value is there. I entered seeking the Bul Go Gi Sandwich(on advice of my co-worker) and found that the owner is Korean, which explains why they have Bul Go Gi on and otherwise«standard lunch fare» menu. I had the sandwich and fries, hunkered down among some blue collar dudes, who looked suspiciously at my «office worker» clothes and enjoyed this unique combination of crisp, fresh fries and sweet, spicy beef on a roll. Free refills on soda, a pleasant conversation with the owner, and a short trip back to work. The verdict? If you are one of the 100,000 people who live or work in Rancho, it’s worth the short drive. I wouldn’t come across town for it, but if you need a part for your car and are in the neighborhood…
