Carrow’s Family Restaurant

Supposedly the wait was 15 minutes. It ended up being more like 40. Sat down, and it took another 10 minutes for anyone to take our order. Waited for another 10 minutes for our drinks. Never brought out our orange juices since they were defrosting. This place is understaffed, like its very noticeable. I’m never coming back here because this place sucks.

First time at this Carrow’s. Food was ok, service was great.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. I have breakfast here on a regular basis and I don’t have a single thing to complain about. It’s one of my most favorite diners. It’s a very quiet, country-​style restaurant with delicious breakfast options at a fair and reasonable cost. I couldn’t be happier with the place!

Christmas day … Thank thank you for being open! We wouldn’t know what to do on Christmas with out this Carrows… Pat has been our server the last 2 years and she is amazing… Food is good and hot. Please stop shutting the carrrows down they are a good place to have a home cooked meal.

The service was absolutely terrible and this location is so sad and run-​down. We came in on a Saturday at 7:30pm and stood in a lobby with no one working the front desk. There was some type of private event happening, and we walked into the dining room where some guy in a red apron saw us and stood up from the booth he was hanging out at. He then walked us to a booth and dropped the menus. Our server was Lucy, and overwhelmed with the 3 tables she had. I’ve been working in a restaurant for 3 years and her server abilities were terrible. She brought out the soup and then our appetizer and we still had no drink. We were patient with her and she was sweet, but lacked of knowledge of being a server. Our food came out cold and was distasteful. Then as we ate, another server started yelling that a table hadn’t tipped Lucy. It was so tacky that in a dining room, she is complaining about getting stiffed. Did I also mention she dropped off our checks with the food? I’ll never ever return. I suggest you go to Wahoo Tacos or McDonalds across the street from this place because this place sucks. (Did I mention she said no baked potatoes but a table near us got a baked potato taken out while we were eating!!!)

Excellent service by server Pat. Food was great. I truly hope they survive. Seemed very quiet Wednesday evening.

Love the breakfast 55 breakfast menu! The most important meal of the day. The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious!

We’lll never eat at this location again! My daughter and I stopped in yesterday for the 2 for 20 special. When we walked in there were no lights or hostess in lobby, i peeked around and a bus boy came out to seat us. There were only about 3 other tables with customers, should have been a sign to leave. We both ordered prime rib. The prime rib was so chewing I almost couldnt cut it even with a steak knife. Ive had some bad prime rib but this should not have been served. After explaining to the server she took the plate to the back, came out and said «yes the cook said he over cooked it today» WTH? Then dont serve it! She said she could get me something else, so I ordered the lemon chicken, my daughter just ate her mashed potatoes and veggies she didnt want anything else. The server brings out chicken and says dont tell the manager I did this for you, the cook is cool and I dont want anyone to get in trouble. And my manager already told me I couldnt do this. I said to her well your manager needs to know how aweful that was, I will be talking to her. OMG ok so the lemon chicken was a super thin butterflied chicken breast that tasted like fish, I took one bite and knew it was either super under cooked or spoiled. Again I could not put my fork into it. The manager who was serving another table came over. I told her my entire experience. She could could careless! She was not friendly and seriously could have given the least amount of shit about what I was telling her. I said how can u seriously serve this prime rib and chicken to customers? How embarrassing, u are the manager and have no clue what your kitchen is sending out? She then replied and said I will take the price of the meat off your bill but u ate everything else??? So she took off $ 5… not that I wanted a discount, I just wanted a decent meal. Uggg still made about the entire situation and will absolutely never be back.

The condition of this location is AWEFUL! The interior is old and dated. Many of the tables against the walls and windows are nearly falling down. They’re leaning off the wall at a near 45 degree angle. Many of the table tops are very sticky which seems to be due to the varnish peeling and delaminating from the wood. I’m not sure how safe this is but it makes eating a drag. We had to move twice before we found a halfway decent place to have our meal.
The food was good! The service was ok. There were only two gentlemen running the whole restaurant by themselves, and neither of them spoke english very well. I asked for the manager and was told that there wasn’t one, and usually isn’t one during the week. Only on weekends when the restaurant is busy. Really!!!

Its one of our favorite restaurants to patronize. We always have really good service and even if they do make a mistake with our order, they immediately correct the problem. We are all human so no need to complain. I love the skillets. It’s truly one of my favorites.

My family and I went inside and there was no one there to greet us. We waited about 5 minutes before my husband went to go and look for someone. We then told her that we were waiting and she didn’t apologize or give an explanation. We told her we had a party of 6 and she said she had to set up a table. There was absolutely no one in that restaurant and there were plenty of tables open and ready for seating. We waited another 10 minutes and she never came back to seat us. We finally walked out to go eat at another restaurant.

Always seated promptly and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Veronica is amazing&can make anything happen. Will continue to come here for our special outings and or family dinners.

The service was good and the place is clean. We came for the prime rib special … 2 for $ 20. The food was okay for the price if you’re not expecting the top of the line prime rib. It’s not good, but it’s not bad either.

I have never been here before but my husband talked me into driving across town due to their «kids eat free» promotion. I checked the website to verify… It stated Monday — Friday and had no exclusions. When we walked in there was a hand written sign saying «no discounts or promotions today». The restaurant was very empty. I am very disappointed in the FALSE ADVERTISING!

Beautiful restaurant– Crazy service 15 minutes for anyone to come to reception area to seat anyone with very few people in this restaurant– (Lights on but no one home!!) finally get seated another twenty minutes go by we have menus and no one has asked for drink orders or even acknowledged us besides to seat us– This is a party of eight all family after seeing Christmas lights– 35 minutes into no service we leave and go to Denny’s — Where they feed us– and they are less then a block away– Carrows Rancho Cucamonga– Your dead to us–

My family and I arrived on a Friday morning. Minimal amount of customers present. The service was good and the food came out good. I probably won’t come back, but it is not a bad place to sit down for a few and eat.

There is always something to experience but having breakfast with my kids today we experienced one if not the best customer service ever in a diner. Pat was pleasant, patient and helpful beyond the call of her duty!
The manager stepped in to assist this hard working young lady in order to get our meal although she didn’t have to, team work!
The food was fresh, warm and plentiful and the price was so reasonable… the environment is quite and welcoming!
Great job on an almost perfect set up and great assets like Pat and your lovely staff!

I prefer this breakfast restaurant chain over Denny’s and IHOP. It’s less crowded and the food is just as good. The service is nothing to brag home about but it’s not bad. I have experienced long waits getting my check, but nothing ridiculously crazy.
I tried their eggs benedict for the first time and I can’t believe I’ve never had them before. They are a mouth full. The first thing I noticed is the ham. Most places give you a small slice of ham, but the ham on this dish was juicy, thick and tender. I couldn’t finish the eggs benedict as much as I wanted to because I was stuffed!
Don’t forget you can use the free wifi internet that is provided to you by the restaurant. It helps keeps the kids busy while you finish your meal if you have a smart device.

I’m surprised that they are still open for business. Minimal service, if any, and the management is completely oblivious to all the problems there.
Save yourself the trouble and find another place to eat.

In town for the day & we decided to stop by for some breakfast. It was quite empty when we arrived. The lady who sat us down was very nice. We got our orders done fairly quickly & our food soon there after.
The waitress did forget one of our orders so eventually we had to cancel it because we couldn’t find her to remind her.
Not sure if we’d come back since its far from our house, but food was good, service was okay.
