So, is this a family restaurant or what?! Basically, I was told to leave with all of our group. That was so humiliating and embarrassing, because my toddler was making«so much noise.» There were other kids playing around and being loud too. It’s so pathetic and stupid that we were literally kicked out of this place. We visit this and other souplatantations often. If you don’t want kids to visit your place, please specify.

I recommend you go here only if you’re interested in food poisoning. I was here 2 days ago. it was all I ate that day and I have been very sick. Tomorrow call to heath department. I suggest you play it safe and stay away!

Went here for dinner. Haven’t been here for a while due to a bad experience last time(dirty plates, not fresh food, etc) went back tonight and it was more of the same(dirty, empty food bowls people had to continually ask for food to be put out, food all over the place on the floor, etc) maybe they were short staffed but we went at 8pm so it’s not like they were busy… Now I know why we haven’t been there to eat in a while now that’s a second bad experience in a row. Come on now Souplantation… You can do better

WOW! I have not been to this location in awhile until today. I have to say, it was AWESOME! Chris(red hair manager) Was off the the charts! As soon as I walked in, he was very pleasant, welcoming, engaging. So happy to see a fresh face. Before it seemed the management was pretty off point with customers. Today, I am a very happy customer seeing Chris & the new changes in décor and delicious yummy food. Thanks again Chris for getting me back to my favorite local Souplantation!

This is the last time I am visiting this Souplantaion! I love Souplantaion but this location is HORRIBLE! The last few times I’ve come to this location it has been disgusting. I keep thinking maybe next time it will be better but no. Today I walked in and like always there were no plates. I finally found one that wasn’t all dirty(in the clean pile). As I’m attending to make my master piece salad I’m picking out all the rotten lettuce. Ewww! I wanted to put some pasta noddles on my salad but being vegetarian the bacon pasta salad bullshit is on all in the noddles so that’s a minus. Also trying to find a clean fork or glass is almost impossible! I finally pay and get ready to eat and remember that I need to watch my hands because the utensils that are used in the line for the buffet are all oily and gross. So as I walk into the restroom there is a poor employee cleaning up vomit all over the floor(remind you… There is no sign on the door saying out of service they just have people walking into vomit). By this time I wasn’t even hungry anymore!!! As I’m eating I’m looking around and no one is picking up dirty used cups, plates or anything for that matter. Everything is so messy and dirty! Last I went to get desert thinking maybe this will be the calm after the storm of gross… No the tray that the desert spoon are in is all dirty with God knows what in it with the supposedly«Clean spoons»! There is no ice ever at this location! This location is horrible and I should call the health department because this whole last experience was completely and utterly disgusting! I’m very disappointed! Looks like I’ll take a break from Souplantaion’s and I will never ever ever ever come back to the Rancho Cucamonga, CA location! EVER!

I hate to say this because you used to be my favorite buffet type place, but we went tonight after a 6 month hiatus and it was horrible. No plates, no bowls, fork nowhere to be found except waiting for one near salad area. No pastas except watered down Mac n cheese. The amazing cornbread squares are now nasty cheap triangles. The fruit selection was sad, whole apples and bananas and yuk cut oranges. No Caesar salad, and the nachos replacing the pasta variety? Really? The salad bar in addition to all the other bars were super dirty. The bathroom was nasty. Minimum wage hikes haven’t even gone up. I’m scared to think what that will do. Unfortunately, my twin daughters chose you guys tonight for their birthday and it was a complete disappoint to all of us. Not sure if is new ownership or you’ve just gotten really low quality, but tonight, even hometown buffet out you to shame and I don’t even like that place.

Worst experience I ever had at a Souplantation. The salad bowls were empty. The counters were covered by items spilled by customers. Had to wait for seating. Then the cashier seeing I was upset decides to tell me to have a nice day in her most sarcastic voice. Always had good experience at the one in Tustin. Difference is probably the management.

My family and I haven’t been here in awhile. Nothing bad happened were just busy people. I really thought the fresh coat of paint on the outside and the new colors inside were really nice. We also liked the new silverware and tables. It didn’t feel as crowded or smashed in as we have in the past. The food was really good. My kids were disappointed they didn’t have pepporoni foccia. I give 4 stars because my son was supposed to recieve a kids cup but was charged for a regular size. By the time I realized I didn’t feel like going through the trouble to switch it. I was hungry, lol! I don’t particularly care for the glasses, plastic was better. We also had hard time finding spoons. Other people I heard had a hard time too. You’d think it would be displayed with soups. Will be back… but it is expensive, almost $ 60.00. I all ways leave a tip, because waiting tables is a tiring job. :)

So much to choose from. Choose one of the freshly premaid salads or make your own unique creation. They have everything you can think of for your creation. I even tried what I normally don’t put on my salad and it tasted awesome. Then they have fresh bread, pasta and my favorite chicken noodle soup. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they will help answer any questions you you may have.

I wasn’t very happy with my meal there’s no meat in their salad selection and the soups were mediocre, and the tofu in the vegetable soup was not a very good choice I don’t think I’ll go back there again I it wasn’t my favorite place to go everything looked fresh but the choices were lacking

Best Souplanation I’ve ever been to! Everything was so fresh! All the veggies at the salad bar looked like they had just been cut, no brown pieces of lettuce. The salad bar was super clean as well. 2 small complaints: bathrooms were dirty, and the dining room floor, tables were fine but I stepped on bits of food a few times.

I haven’t been here in over 5 years and I vaguely remember that time. Today I went and I will definitely be back. Everything was good and also fresh. The ratatouille soup was delicious as was the tortellini soup. The staff was super nice and friendly. The décor was was nice and the staff bussing the tables didn’t miss a beat.

The line on a Saturday night was exceptionally long. I’d say about 7PM, it took 30 – 40 minutes to get to the register. Then after we paid, this new manager I haven’t seen before wasn’t accommodating at all. The managers that usually guide us to our table will see my grandma is handicap and can’t carry her tray so they do it for us. This time, she just stared at my grandma and watched my dad put down his tray to go back to the front to get my grandma’s tray… Everything was good that day except the chicken noodle. The chicken noodle was also cold. The pasta selection was also good that day.

I love Souplantation. I am literally here all the time! This place is great for breakfast and lunch. You start off by the salad bar and work your way along, pay at the cashier, then you either seat yourself or wait to get seated. For breakfast, I usually get their pasta(it has scrambled eggs, tomatoes, and more) with roasted potatoes. They also have waffles, muffins, and french toast(my personal fav). For lunch, I always get their clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, and mac n cheese. Love this place! Will never stop coming here.

What is there to say? Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was clean and everything was fresh and well maintained… especially for as packed as it was. Check em out. Why not.

Souplantation has been a staple for our family for years. However, we’ve started going less and less due to deteriorating conditions and quality. This past weekend was the last straw. When we walked in, we noticed the trays were wet. And not a little damp, every one of them were essentially filled with a puddle of water. We asked the woman behind the counter for a towel to wipe them down, and it took her about five minutes to figure out how to open a roll of paper towels and hand me a wad. They didn’t do much to absorb the water. Then we tried to get plates, and it took us at least ten tries to find clean ones. There was food smeared and stuck all over them. We almost left at this point, and boy, do I wish we had. As we went through the salad bar, I was reaching to get some pickles and the girl behind the counter started to refill the olives. Olive juice went pouring down the counter and onto my tray, and she just looked at me, shrugged, and walked away. There were no baked potatoes. There was no bread. There was no cornbread. There was no honey whipped butter for the muffins. Of course, that wasn’t really a huge issue because there was only a few muffins out that had obviously been sitting there a long time. The chili was cold. Tried to get another soup and they were out of bowls. The bathrooms were disgusting. Oh yeah, there was a thick black hair in my pasta. I think we can cross Souplantation off our list of family outings from here on out.

Very few times I write reviews with one star. I cannot believe that a restaurant manager/owner could allow for something like this to happen. The restrooms at this location are beyond deplorable. An image is worth a thousand words. The men’s restroom is falling apart. And according to a lady that had just gotten out of the ladies bathroom theirs is even worse, she mentioned that the toilet seat was missing. I really hope that somebody from @souplantation looks into fixing this issue. Their Rancho Cuamonga restaurant needs a serious make over.

If you need a refreshing meal and fiber, come to Souplantation! It’s a buffet so all you can eat! So. 1. Walk in — turn left 2. Grab a tray & plate(directions are also posted above the shelf) 3. Build your salad 4. Pay 5. Seat yourself if the sign says seat yourself 6. Eat 7. Make sure your sign at your table says you’re returning 8. Get more food 9. Repeat steps 6 – 8 10. When you’re done, turn your sign over to let your server know that you’re done The salad is very fresh and crisp. Lots of homemade dressings. I tried the pumpkin soup, and it was really good! I don’t even like pumpkin! The chili was also delicious! Half way I noticed that the food changed! They rotate the hot food options! You can also see them make muffins, which are also pretty good. I should note that there weren’t many meat options offered. I think the only thing that had meat was the chicken noodle soup and chili. I don’t believe there was chicken offered in the salad area. However, there was tuna salad. Overall, well worth your money, especially considering a salad typically costs $ 7 — $ 10. Look for coupons in your local magazine! The lunch coupons are also valid during their weekend brunch.

This is a nicer location, very big, bright, clean and well maintained. Service was fine, we came shortly after opening and everything was well stocked and fresh. About an hour in, the salads were a mess and not as appealing looking. Prices are fair, they have a nice selections of soups, salads, bread and muffins, some more tasty than others. They often send out coupons to make it worth coming back, otherwise not really worth it, as you do get the buffet vibe like at Hometown Buffet and they could work on restocking and keeping the food area neater.
