Pizza Hut

These people are terrible at their job. Delivery is slow and unreliable. People who work there don’t give a crap about doing their job. Highly recommend avoiding this location. There’s two decent places nearby — recommend Mario’s: (973) 537‑0444. If you really want chain store pizza, there’s a Domino’s around the corner: (973) 328‑3233

I feel a bit of pity for this Pizza Hut in regards to it’s operations. Seems to always be run by kids. Great kids with good manners and ethics yet left to fend for themselves and run a restaurant. This location and these kids must have a Miss Hannigan somewhere in the back getting loaded.
Im regards to the food it holds true to the consistency of a better Pizza Hut. Always fresh and tasty. However I notice a few flaws in execution I can only attribute to the misguided youthfulness of the staff. Two things in particular are:
Undercooked Pasta
Uncheesed Garlic Bread with cheese
You probably asked «what the heck is this idiot doing ordering pasta from Pizza Hut». I’ll tell you since the 90s/​I can remember they have always served a solid spaghetti and meatballs. Say what you will but it’s a great and inexpensive go to between 5 — 8 $ bucks depending on the meatballage. Even with the two executional flaws everything tasted great as always. Spot on classic Pizza Hut in regards to taste. I do miss the salad bar here though (some have done away with the salad bars) Would be nice to have some greens with pizza/​pasta. That is in the spirit of classic Pizza Hut.

We were looking to taste the garlic knot pizza and were pretty excited. When we walked in, a nice young man greeter us and seated us immediately. To our surprise, the restaurant was basically empty. He took our order right away We immediately received our drinks. It was slowly going down hill from there. We noticed that the few people that were there were all waiting and looked very frustrated. There was a family who arrived just before us and placed their order. Shortly there after they told them they were out of whatever they ordered. They tried again and a short time later another employee approached them and said they were out of that too. this family then walked out. How could Pizza Hut be out items? We noticed that it didn’t matter how far behind they were on the orders, the staff didn’t really seem to care. They continued to move at a very slow pace. The young lady making the pies would walk around a bit after making each pie. We finally received our pie after 40 minutes — not cooked. rating –10. Our waiter was excellent and did gave us a discount for the under cooked pie.

Wish i had read ghe reviews of this place. I would have avoided it. Entered, no one available to seat us. Kid at register came over and took our drink order, went to machine filled them and left them there. A few minutes later another kid came over took our order and i told him those were our drinks at the machine. I figured ok lets see how it goes. 35 minutes later he brings our breadsticks. I told him i dont want it now at the same time as the pizza. We got up and left. There were maybe 4 couples the place. Totally disorganized and no management in site. Ill never return

Pizza is consistent all the time. The servers are young kids that are very polite and accommodating. Place is clean. If you like Pizza Hut pizza this place is a good bet.

I wish there was a «zero star» rating. I ordered a personal pan pizza and breadsticks at noon and it is 1:20pm and my order has just arrived. Not only was the person taking the order dry and uninterested but the delivery driver was also rude at the time of delivery, pretty much throwing the order to me. Now I open the pizza and its lukewarm, the breadsticks soggy and the sauce container near empty. I wish I would have checked reviews before ordering from here. I am so disappointed and angry, I wish there was something else I could do other than write this review, this is unacceptable.

Sorry I wasnt able to give a lesser rating than this. I ordered a pizza with extra toppings and what I received had toppings less than even a regular sized topping. The pizza itself wasnt any better. Thanks for reminding that I should always stick to Dominos.

When I was a child in the early 90s I thought Pizza Hut was an awesome place. I was wrong? It has changed? Maybe both. I walked in with my two sons and asked for a table, the response we got was «oh, you’re here to dine?» I guess that’s not a common thing. The dining room looks newly remodeled. New furniture, fresh carpet. Maybe it just never gets used. Looking at the menu I can see this is a brand trying to change its reputation. I saw some annoying pricing strategies. I think it said $ 1 up charge for celery with wings. And why is it $ 1.50 for most toppings but $ 2.25 for extra cheese. That does not send the right message to me. I ordered diet Pepsi and was served regular. The pizza itself was what everyone will tell you Pizza Hut’s pizza is like, and there wasn’t enough cheese. I did like how it was served on the cutting peel at the table, very classy. In conclusion I see they are doing all the finer details right, but training and staffing is where the money needs to be spent.

I’m pretty sure that if this restaurant was in Nowhereville, USA, it probably would get a decent review and 3 stars. However, this is New Jersey where good pizza is a right — practically a religion.
Being honest, I occasionally have lunch here but only for their «garbage» pie — a small personal pie with lots of goodies piled on. Not traditional pizza for sure, but because of all of the fat, meat, cheese and veggies on top, I like it.
Their regular pizza is bland with a flavorless crust and too-​mild sauce.
About the only compliment I can give with confidence is their pies are way better than Dominos!
Damming with faint praise?

First off– I actually took the time to create a Unilocal account just to warn you of this place. Now granted it’s a freaking pizza Hut (I wasn’t looking for a gourmet meal here) we were forgotten in a corner and waited almost an hour for salad that clearly came from a Costco club salad bag and half cooked pizza about 25 minutes after that… we probably should have ordered it online– it would have not taken as long

Last night was the last time I’m stepping foot into the place. Ordered online and was told to pick up at 915. I left to pick up at 920 cause my last few times I had to wait 20 min there. Got there, paid, and was told I should have it shortly. 30 min later someone called out my name and apparently my pizza was under the counter the entire time. They were just waiting on my wings. They asked what sauce I wanted 3 times after that and I just told them I wanted a refund. It was 1015 at that time. Ridiculous. Even getting the refund took 15 min. I got home and placed an order with domino’s and got my food delivered in 25 min. Never again pizza Hut. I was not once sincerely apologized to for wasting an hour of my life

Ketchup on a saltine cracker, sprinkled with some grainy, cheese-​like substance.
This is NJ… why in the world would anyone order from a pizza chain, when there are dozens of mom & pop pizza joints that serve REAL pizza.
Despite the nasty food, I’ve ordered delivery from this Pizza Hut 3 times. Each time, the order was wrong. (I ordered via the website the last 2 timrs). When I called to let them know, they were aggravated with ME because I wanted them to bring me the items they forgot! The last time, the delivery guy came back the second time…& forgot (yet AGAIN) to bring the soda. I decided to chalk it up as a loss & as I was closing the door, he said, «you know, it would be nice to tip me since I came all the way out here again». I reminded him that I tipped him the first time he delivered. He said, «yeah, but I had to come all the way back… AGAIN». I reminded him that it was not due to MY error that he had to come back & that even if I lost my mind for a second & were to think about giving h im another tip — he forgot my soda. He gave me the finger & left.
I will CERTAINLY be ordering from them again — REAL SOON! NOT!

This place sucks, no garlic sauce, no peppers or nothin.

What am I thinking when I give PizzaHut 4 stars…
They do deserve credit for their improved menu and updated location.
It was 3pm on a Sat and it was busy. Never saw that coming.
Their wings were surprisingly good. Get them on the bone and no breading to appreciate the true flavor. Their spicy BBQ had the sweet and spicy thing down.
Their is something about their pizza that makes me go back for more. It’s buttery and soft crust make my mouth water. Its no frills and our waitress was alone but she was great.
Don’t let the PH stigma fool you, worth a stop in. And honestly, and don’t lose respect for me, it’s better than all the Chicago pizzeria’s I have been to.
Free soda refills. Inexpensive prices. Great family friendly environment.

Embarrassed that I am to live in the North East and like generic pizza, I will never EVER eat Pizza Hut again after my experience at this establishment. Managed by Matt and Kelly, they refused to allow any of their employees carry the pizza to my car even though my hands were full with my 3 month old twins. I begged and begged for help. God forbid someone open a door for me let alone carry a pizza. The employees just stood watching me struggle to open the doors and then refused to help me carry the food to my car. Thankfully, someone who was EATING dinner there overheard my plea (as I could not leave my children in the car or carry a pizza with both of the in my hands) and they got up and opened the door and then when my pizza was ready 20 minutes after it should have been and my babies were screaming, this patron made 2 trips to carry my pizza to my car.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

Ugh I totally forgot about what happened last time. The same exact thing just happened again.

What in the Christ is going on at this place? It’s NCAA Finals night, and they have one delivery driver on. GREAT BUSINESS STRAT. I call, «Gwynette» asks if I want delivery or pickup, I request delivery, she puts me on hold, and when she comes back she pulls the old takeaway! No, Greg, you can’t have delivery. Alright, I say, pickup it is. So we put our order in for their latest rendition of pizza-​shaped cat food, the Crazy Cheesy Pizza or whatever. I trudge over 40 minutes later and my «pizza» is coming out of the oven as Gunther is confusedly swiping my credit card. I literally glare at the girl taking my pizza out of the oven (sadly I’ve been here once before and know the process) to make sure she doesn’t spray it with the flavored WD-​40 they use to give your pizza that fresh, golden color.
I bring home this sludgy mess and share it with my roommates, which makes me an awful friend. Where do I even start with this pizza? The grease literally ate through the half inch cardboard they give you. The cheese tasted like it fermented in algae, and the dough sagged like old wee-​wee (yes, I said it).
This is the worst Pizza Hut on the planet. Never go here, lest you be subjected to the wily antics of Gunther and his gold-​spraying clan of illegitimate «pizza» makers. Dominos is three minutes down the road, and their number is (973) 328‑3233, order the pan pizza with pepperoni and onions — tell them Greg sent you.

We went to the Restaurant to dine in and it took 10 mins to seat us when no one was there, 15 mins to take our order, and hour to get our food, our cups where never refilled, and another 20 mins to get our check. There was NO ONE else in the restaurant!!! It was awful!
Believe it or not, we went back a second time. We figured it was just a bad day and their pizza is good… Same thing happened!
If you have time to waste go ahead and go… But if you have children like me who can’t wait for food for an hour DON’T GO!

This Pizza Hut lacks the proper management. They are always disorganized and you can smell the confusion in the air.
I only go there for the buffalo wings on Wednesdays.
