Older Asian couple are always there. They work hard and put out a great product. Support local. Double cheese burgers rock.

I dont know how i missed Jimmy Gs. I have driven by it thousands of times. As other reviewers have said it is ran by an older couple. They are the only people i saw working. There was a steady stream of customers. We ate inside. The food was delicious. I had a tenderloin sandwich. It was monstorous. And the taste was better than Pop’s tenderloin. …the service and inside was weird. I was eating and the owner grabbed the ketchup from my table to pass it to another customer. Albiet, I was using it, and had put it down, but still strange on the inside. Part of the resturant was a darkish room with an old folding table and a few chairs… I think this is a place to go through the drive thru instead. While I was there, there was a steady stream of drive through and to go customers. I will make this a regular stop, but drive through next time. The food though, was delicious.

I hadn’t been in years. It’s a total throw back. We had to try it so we could sit out on a picnic table in the sun. Exactly what you would want it to be if you went to a «drive in»

Jim G’s is awesome Drive-In comfort food. They have great prices and a big selection of old-fashioned standards. Don’t miss their shakes. I can’t resist stopping by when I’m in Raytown. Minimum purchase $ 3 for credit cards

Classic mom and pop joint in the car-hop fashion. The fare is what you would expect, and then some. Reasonably priced and made to order. The burgers and limeades are fantastic and these little drive-in’s are such a rarity nowadays. Americana and nostalgia are as present here as the dated appearance and smell of grease.

Jim G’s Drive In has been in Raytown for many years. It has had several owners in the years we’ve been going there, but the concept remains pretty much the same. There is drive up service(order around back and pick up at the window) as well as some tables inside. There are made-to-order versions of hamburgers, cheese burgers, tenderloin sandwiches, Italian Steak and several more. The sides include fries, tater tots, mushrooms and cheese balls. They make good tacos that always taste fresh and come with mild or hot sauce. My meal of the day nearly always includes a limeade with real lime juice squeezed into it from real lime wedges. The nice and extremely friendly couple who own it and are generally working whenever I go in make me feel welcome. And I’m always glad to be able to patronize a locally owned Raytown business.
