Checkers Drive In Restaurant

Good points-​the loaded fries are really good says hubby. The spicy chicken is pretty good with a decent kick to it. And I liked that they had small milkshakes on the dollar menu.
Not so good points-​the chocolate shake didn’t seem very chocolaty. I even had hubby taste it to make sure it wasn’t just me, I actually took off the lid to see the color, it was slightly darker than vanilla. The fish sandwich is dry, McD’s is much better. Hubby said the sandwich was ok, but dollar for dollar he’d prefer a Whopper and it’s bigger. The drive through and whole parking lot is odd and somewhat confusing the first time in. Ordering in the drive through was an adventure in itself. The person taking the order seemed to be talking to someone else at the same time in another language with the microphone on. We had to repeat our (simple) order like 3 times, and then 2 additional people at the window asked for confirmation on the basic sandwich (Did we want everything on it, the answer was yes all 3 times we were asked.)
Overall, maybe we’ll stop for the loaded fries sometime in the future, but not regularly since we don’t know if it’s worth stopping there for just fries and going somewhere else for sandwiches.

Been here a couple of times. Every time I order any amount of wings, I’m looking at a 10 minute wait no matter what time I come here. They behave bizarrely when it comes to requests for certain sauces or dips… out right refusing due to «inventory» concerns… but I wasn’t allowed to pay for them either. Just weird.
The food is pretty much garbage even by fast food standards. The wings aren’t bad however, though a smidge pricy. The long waits for them sorta makes it kind stupid to make it a drive through focused restaurant, but as long as you know about it in advance that really shouldn’t be a problem
One time, I called to them in advance to help remedy the long wait. When I showed up, I was told that the GM had opt’d not to make my order (after I was off the phone and couldn’t be told this in advance). She said that I wasn’t allowed to call an order in advance because they «weren’t a pizza shop».
Well, whoever the manager of this store is? Yes, you’re right; you’re not a pizza shop. What you are is rude and unhelpful. Staff is friendly; management is inflexible. Would not recommend, other then to answer a craving for chicken wings.

This is a lame sonic and price is way to high for a drive through
