I personally am not a fan of the windmill hotdogs or how they make them. People I know that like grill hotdogs rave about how good they are, however I think they get a little too burnt on the grill but the other food they have is very good. Their cheese fries are the best around, they are always so crispy, never soggy and have the best cheese! A shore classic for sure, whether your going down to the beach for the day or having a late night snack windmill is always a great stop!

Decent hotdogs and upscale fast food. However for what they give you, this place is way way way overpriced.
Go down the road to G and G for much better fare, and an incredibly better deal.

Always have loved the Windmill. Used to go when I was a teen. Hot dogs are the best around. Burgers are delicious as well. Breaded mushrooms, cheese fries… typical burger joint but oh so good!

This place has kept its quality over years, the hot dogs are top notch and the service is great. I love the design of the establishment.

Don’t be fooled by this spot’s outrageously GRIMEY appearance. The food is quality, I promise. I had a chili dog, which was F’ing delicious. However, it was also very pricey. I believe it was $ 6.00. Don’t get me wrong, the dog was fantastic, as was the chili, but still. I enjoyed my experience, but I’d rather get dollar dogs at Gray’s Papaya

The hot dog was delicious. The place is a little dingy but hey, it’s a hot dog joint. I went with the chilli hot dog no cheese and no bun and a bottle of water. It was still about $ 6 and change which is pretty steep for a dog if you ask me. Was it delicious? You betcha. The dog definitely had that crispy bite and that just salty delicious meat. It could of definitely used more chli, one half of a little ladle doesn’t do this thing justice.
If you’re craving a dog this is your joint. If you’re craving some lunch, I bet there are some other delicious options out there for the price point but man, hot dogs are so good.

Fresh flame grilled burgers. Very fast service. The downside is the price… For $ 6, I expected a decent sized burger and bacon that didn’t look like it was the packaged pre cooked type. The taste was pretty good. The fries were $ 4, frozen crinkle cut, and already made.
The hot dogs on the griddle looked great.
Not a bad place. But the price should match the product served…

Windmill is always a fantastic stop, no matter its location in the shore area the food is quality, and it’s seen in the price you pay. Food is always fresh, fries and hot dogs are awesome.

Dirty, the owner is a slob, who will wipe the sweat from his forehead then touch the food.
This is not the same owner or employees from Long Branch. I ascertained that by calling the corporate office to complain about how disgusting this place is.

WOOHOO! I love this Windmill. They have delicious everything, especially burgers and cheese fries. The people there were always super nice to me. GO HERE if you crave good/​bad food and then go to wawa and enjoy the $ 6 packs of cigarettes.

All I had was a hot dog with brown mustard and sauerkraut. See pic.
The hot dog was pretty good. Very large. Cost $ 3.99
I like that you can help yourself to the condiments, and that the sauerkraut is kept very warm. Big plus in my book.

The food and the employees are the same as the Long Branch location that I previously review. The location is in a small strip mall mixed in with the Red Bank Antiques Market.
