Thank God I was only driving through and hopefully will never need them again. So… I forgot my meds at home on my way up north… way up north. I remembered that I can just call any CVS and get some pills to hold me down till I get back home. Happened to be coming up on Red Bluff CVS. Called them and the pharmacy tech that answered made it seem like I was speaking a completely different language. Then, she proceeded on telling me that they will not give me 3 – 5 pills as a hold me down. CVS has numerously done that in the past when my prescription was waiting approval by the doctor. Ok fine… I offered to pay for it. She said not we can’t do that either claiming that my prescription is expired and is from Los Angeles. Called my on-call doctor and luckily he was available during the holiday and he sent in the prescription for 5 pills. I called CVS20 minutes after my doctor and they same lady answers telling me that it will take an hour to get it done. Come on… an hour when it was 9AM in the morning? I show up an hour later and still have to wait. Did not seem like a lot was going on behind the counter. The again… what do I know… CVS certainly needs to look into the customer service area at that store. Luckily I will not be going there again anytime soon.

My low rating from before has changed considerably. Since they moved to their new facility I have had no problems. If anything, they have been more efficient than I am. Kudos to them now!

I dind’t give this one the full five stars, only because they are a bit pricier than most«variety» stores. However, the cleanliness, friendly attitude of the employees, and the fact that it is usually uncrowded when I shop make up for it. I have a club card, which will lower the price of items below Wal Mart prices, which is a plus.
