I have been to many Perko’s in my lifetime and every one of them has had green coffee mugs. Every single one… I believe they were even called Perko’s green. Recently, my girl friend and I took a trip up to Red Bluff and there happen to be a Perko’s just a short walk away(more like a hop, skip, and a jump). Anyway, we moseyed on over there, were promptly seated, and I could not believe it. They brought me a white mug. What the hell? You can not have a white mug in a Perko’s, everyone knows that! Of course I asked for a green mug so I would feel like I was at a Perko’s. «Oops» I think I «pissed» off the waitress(can’t take me anywhere). At least she stayed nice to the other three individuals at our table. Other than that, it was your typical, quick freeway access, coffee shop. Service was fairly quick, the place was fairly clean, and the food was what you would expect at your typical coffee shop. My only tip would be to order the hash browns instead of the home fries. They may be the best thing on the menu.(They do not have Sriracha).

We were staying at a hotel near this coffee shop. I’ve always loved eating at a good old fashion coffee shop especially for breakfast. This restaurant didn’t disappoint! The service was good and the waitress very nice and patient serving a large group of us hungry, yet finicky eaters. I was able to eat here for two mornings in a row. They serve a large variety of food options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Just the breakfast menu alone had plenty to choose from. They even allowed changes and special requests without hesitation. I had 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, freshly squeezed orange juice and wheat toast. Everything cooked to perfection and satisfying to boot! The hash browns were exceptionally good because they were very crispy, just the way I like them and others in our group liked them too! They are open late, but not 24 hours. We were hoping to go there later in the evening after a long wedding rehearsal session, but they had already closed. Too bad… they had a nice selection of ice cream flavors. Like a mini Baskin Robbins. But maybe that was a good thing, or we might not have been able to fit into our dresses!

Stopped by for breakfast. The service was great and the place was clean. I see someone said something about being seated in the back. There were very few people there when I got there but as they stated getting busier I noticed that people were seated all over at random. The food was good and fast.

Decent food, good wait staff. Try the larger than life ham steak.

First star for a clean parking lot, interior and bathroom. The second is for convenience, right off the freeway. The third star is for the sweet waitress. The minus two is the fact that when I walked in to find my parents(the only interracial couple in the establishment) I had to walk by the front area that had a few tables available but mostly had older Caucasians… I brushed off the fact that they were WAY in the back… The other minus one star is because of the guests who were seated within earshot. These two big men were openly discussing«Niggers» and using the F-bomb repetedly. How F***in inconsiderate is that? Since nobody told them that when they were saying was inappropriate breakfast conversation I had to strip them of a star. The potatoes were great, the hash must be homade so it was ok but I gave most of it to the puppy, the biscuits and gravy were fantastic and the eggs… were eggs hehe. I guess if you don’t mind being racially profiled it’s ok to be in this town. At least they have great waitresses«Yall come back now y’hear!» she really said that!
