Great location. Close to everything. Great view. Rooms are clean and staff is nice. The rooms are above the restaurant and bar and next door to a bigger bar. The place to be if you are a live music lover!

This is a Unilocal error — this place IS Texas reds steakhouse. It’s also a hotel and has a full bar. Either way it’s the epicenter of red river and the best place — I’ve found — throughout the town.

The lodge is always my first stop when I arrive in Red River. It just feels right. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I love checking in while listening to some great acoustic music coming from the Lost Love Saloon, attached to the lobby. The rooms are very mountain comfortable. The rooms are all wood and the balcony opens to a great view of the landscape. My wife and I love to sleep with the door wide open and get some of that refreshing mountain air. The Steakhouse downstairs is delicious. So far I have loved the Prime Rib, the Filet, and NY Strip. Always Medium Rare and delicious. I usually cheat on my diet and get fried okra. I also love their cooked mushrooms.(i normally hate mushrooms. I was dared to eat them, and whoa.) After dinner we normally grab a drink in the Saloon. Luckily enough, we have been able to see great singer songwriters, nationally known and local. We even caught Jimmy Daddy Davis one night. He’s a hoot! If you can’t tell, we love this place. It has kind of become a little home away from home. I do want to point out, I read the other reviews. Yes, they have little TV’s in the room. BUT, we don’t come to Red River to watch TV. It’s to fun and beautiful.

Stay here only if you enjoy iF you are a sound sleeper. The live band from next door is blaring from next door. Yay… Maybe I’m just too old

Well the TV’s are really small with Poor reception in your room. There is a big screen TV, however its in the loft area, so kinda of a dorm type set up. The rooms are clean, and quaint. The bathroom sink was in our room, not in the bathroom. The staff was fine, no complaints. There is live music in the restaurant bar on the 1st floor, so it can be loud in your room. All the rooms are on the 2nd floor. My room happen to be directly above the bar area. I would stay here again, this is due to the price and happy hour is only a few steps from your room. This is an old place. Has good night life around it, an the bus to the slopes can pick you up at the front door. This is no 5 star resort. I was with the guys, so worked great for us!
