You know, their salads are typically good; but, I ordered the smoked salmon salad, and I didn’t want vinaigrette so I asked for Blue cheese dressing; waitress said they don’t have blue cheese dressing; I said what can you do for me? She suggested Ranch with blue cheese crumbled; she didn’t say it would be more money; when I got the check, she charged me $ 4 extra dollars for a few crumbles of cheese it made the already expensive salad of $ 15 a $ 19 salad. I’m sorry but shouldn’t a restaurant that specializes in salad, have blue cheese? And, if they don’t, that’s on them; they shouldn’t charge their loyal patrons $ 4 extra for their lame salad dressing supply! I felt like I was ripped the heck off– You just lost a customer whose been there many times. Gougers!

I’m quite surprised by the low ratings. It’s Redding! I had the veggie sandwich, husband the chicken feta salad, son a burger and they did GF chicken and fruit for my daughters. We had it delivered to our hotel and it was on time and delicious. The cheesecake, omg the cheesecake. I would go back for that alone! Excellent healthy option in Redding!

When I go to lunch w a friend she always picks Cheesecakes. The restaurant is beautiful. It’s very disappointing that the don’t step up their service and food to the same level. I arrived shortly after they opened. After a staff person finally greeted me I asked for a table for two. There was no one else in the restaurant, but the staff person took approximately 5 minutes looking at a seating chart. She asked if an upstairs table would be ok(when an entirely huge dining room downstairs was completely empty). I said I preferred downstairs and she seated me at a table for two along the wall. When a few other parties arrived, they were all seated at adjacent tables — the ladies next to us were so close one of them kept hitting me with her hair as she tossed it. It was a quite bizarre seating choice for a restaurant given the large number of empty tables throughout the spacious location. We ordered salads and they arrived promptly. I had the shrimp pasta salad on a bed of greens. It was enormous with 4 decent sized shrimp. It had absolutely no flavor at all even though it was said to have had a basil vinaigrette. We didn’t receive a bread basket as we have on past occasions, but received one thin slice of baguette with each salad. $ 20 for a large salad and a soda. Disappointing all around. This restaurant should obtain some training for their staff(or new staff) and find some kitchen staff who know what good food tastes like. It’s such a waste of a beautiful location.

Have become a regular again. Absolutely love the halibut tacos with house salad. Unbeatable and consistent. Great selection of beers and comfortable but grand atmosphere. Great value and competent(if not excellent/super refined) service. Bread and butter is also consist et and enjoyable. What’s not to love?!?

The building is impressive in size and architecture. The staff is friendly enough. But the food is disappointingly meh. If u like meh food or have a large group, go. If your abt the food, wud not go.

Terrible, staff is either not well trained or do not care about customers. Some orders were wrong and had to be returned. I had a Shrimp Pine Nut salad that was mostly lettuce and very watery. The shrimp was was old and very fishy definitely not fresh which gave me indigestion after I left. The shrimp was spoiled and I Should have sent it back but it took over an hour to get our food as it was. We had a table of 15 People on a Friday afternoon at 3:00 and were the only ones there so it was not busy so there is no excuse for the slow poor service. This place is terrible. It is the first not time we have dined here but it is the Last!

Very disappointed in the service and food. The salmon salad is what I ordered and the salmon tasted and looked like the bottom of my flip flop. The service was terrible and my coworker who frequents the place was disappointed as well. I won’t be going back.

So plain and simple the experience was average at best, the food was pretty alright but nothing special, but the service is awful. And i’d like to say that it was busy when I arrived but it wasn’t. There were many open seats and still took 5 minutes before I was even told«someone will seat you shortly.»(By the entrée express driver of all people) then waited another 30 minutes before I received my order, both of which were salads. I will not be dining here again.

I’ve been to this restaurant once before. I ordered the chicken ravioli a in pesto cream sauce. It was good, so we decided to return some time later after our first visit. Let’s start first with the service. It was horrible. I felt the staff was unenthusiastic and lazy. Said«yea» as a reply to things we would ask for. We didn’t get our bread basket until our food came. I asked for horseradish on my French dip. That didn’t happen. My husband asked for extra lemons with his fish n chips. That didn’t happen. I went an extended period of time with no water and the only reason I received more was because the waitress saw me pointing to my glass as I mentioned it to my husband. The food was mediocre. The fish n chips were ok. Nothing special. My French dip was not attractive at all. It was small, the roast beef had a funny texture and the au jus was extremely salty. My husband ordered an Italian cream soda that was made with entirely too much syrup. And to top it off, our $ 6 plain cheesecake we ordered to go was small and sad looking. If they’re going to charge Cheesecake Factory prices, then they should be up to par. The only reason I give it two stars is because I remember the raviolis being good.

I was really excited to try this restaurant that had been recommended by a local. The food was not special, and was over priced for the portion sizes. I feel like they covered everything with a lot of cheese to cover up the mediocre taste. Even the cheesecake was disappointing for a place named«Cheesecake Unlimited».

Verbally abusive and attitude towards Purple Heart wounded veteran and service dog by owner. A wounded double Purple Heart recipient was treated with disrespect and made to feel shallow and wrong. Was very rude towards asking for a disposable cup to give my service dog water and complained because I have her 3 treats. owner stated he’s ok with lap dogs but had an issue with a newly trained service dog. Talked down and was the rudest anti– service dog and military person I have ever met in Redding. Will never ever go there for any food and will make it a point to let everyone knew what kind of owner he is. The ADA will be contacted on this issue. It was accurate and he dog never jumped up on anyone, it was the waitress that bent over to pet the service dog who, by the way, was laying down under the table at my feet like she does at every other restaurant we’ve been to. She was NEVER asked to give the dog food and mentioned we had forgotten her water dish in the truck and the waitress was kind to bring a styrofoam cup to put water in Molly NEVER jumped nor even was near any«guests» at any time so that’s an out right lie from an owner. Owner was still a complete dick about the whole situation and the ADA, wounded warrior project and AW2 soldiers rights have been contacted regarding this matter:

The rudest restaurant owner I’ve ever encountered. My boyfriend is retired from the military with a purple heart and has a new service dog. We accidentally forgot her water dish and asked for a small bowl for water for her the waitress promptly accommodated. The owner later walked over and complained about our dog and having to provide a bowl, but he went on to say that people, «bring in lap dogs all the time». Our dog is NOT a lap dog. He was rude and insulting and complete disregard for my boyfriend’s service to our country. We immediately got up and left. I’d never give patron to a business that doesn’t honor our heros that fight and give their lives for our country!

I ordered the Fettucine Alfredo and it was OK. I paid $ 16.00 for about $ 1.50 worth of food. It was just noodles, with a little chicken and some sprinkled cheese on the top. I actually like this restaurant, but this time I was disappointed. This particular dish should have included some mushrooms, bell pepper, fresh garlic, and a few other spices to set it apart from the usual fair. I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times in the last years, but I always ordered desert. Why eat good food when you can just have desert? The service was good. I know that this restaurant can do better.

Sometimes when I’m laying in bed at night, I start thinking about the raviolis that this restaurant serves; the thought makes my mouth water to such an extent that I have to change my pillow case in the morning. I asked for the recipe but was denied that wealth of information. I suppose I’ll just have to continue buying them from cheesecakes unlimited.

I ordered the fish tacos. They tasted nasty. The fish tasted like rotten fish and the tacos had layer after layer of different kind of cheeses inside the tacos and to top it all off the salsa tasted like it had been siting in a metallic pot for way too long. I will definitely not be going back to Cheesecakes unlimited anytime soon.

The Good: The location and building is AWSOME The food was pretty good. The Bad: Service is severely lacking. Nobody knew the wifi login. They forget our drink orders and then got it wrong the second time around. No one makes eye contact as they scurry around resetting tables. LOL…it’s as if «if I don’t pay attention to them they won’t ask me for anything». I ordered the halibut and it took at least 20 mins for them to figure out they were missing a key ingredient. LOL the waitress forgot to leave me a pen to sign the bill… it took awhile to track down someone that had one. The manager should be fired. The kids running it don’t know what they’re doing. It’s a real shame too because it’s very cool building and food not bad.
