Nice atmosphere. Great sushi. Amazing Roll my favorite. VIP close second. Little higher on roll prices than usual but we’ll worth the money. Gentleman that greets you is full of positive energy making the greeting fun.

Quaint and very enjoyable! The food was delicious and absolutely outstanding! The chef even came out to take our order personally, or maybe they were just low staffed at the moment. Warm and welcoming. It may appear to be a small building but they also have outdoor seating so you can enjoy your sushi or chow mein in the glorious weather~! Not Five-Star, but definitely a new family favorite.

I have been eating here for years. The staff is super friendly! I always take my friends here when they tell me they haven’t been. The dining area is cozy or you can enjoy the patio in the summer. My personal fave is their Kung Pao Chicken(extra spicy) its consistently fantastic!

Decent food. A bit bland. I had the shrimp with vegetables and it was covered with cream of corn which was strange to me. The sushi was falling apart and a bit flavorless. The soup was super yummy and there was plenty of food. The service was amazing and the place is very quaint. The food came out very fast. I’m not sure I’ll go back though.

The setting was very quaint. At first sight the building looked pretty sketchy. But the inside is very nice. After we were seated, they brought out wonton chips and sweet & sour sauce. Which was great. Next came the sweet and sour soup. Which I was not a fan of. Basically just s&s sauce mixed in with miso soup. But we ordered vegetarian egg rolls which were very good. My entrée of house low mein was great except for the beef, which resembled wet dog food. The chicken and shrimp were great though. Minus the soup and the beef, everything was great.

Love this place, worth the drive out to the airport. Great flavor and they make their own potstickers and are really good! Love to take the whole family and order as many dishes as possible.

Good Chinese food, but there are a few other places in town that make good Chinese. Chu’s too does a great job with to go orders, referring to ‘complete dinners’ they do come complete, soup and all. I was impressed by the service and helpfulness of staff while I waited for my order, gave me water and a to go menu as well as absolutely everything you want with a meal to go from sauces to the convient box they packaged it into. I’ve had their sushi and while its OK their Chinese is good and overall a nothing to really gripe about.

I really liked this place! Very friendly staff, Lambeau was a really fun guy to talk to! Food and atmosphere was good, though they are a small restaurant so there is not as much of a selection as Peter Chu’s skyroom, but fantastic all the same. We sat at the small bar and enjoyed California rolls as we waited to get our food to go. They have a nice wine selection as well.

Great lunch. Perfect sushi but also perfect Chinese. My husband isn’t in to sushi so it is perfect to be able for the both of us. I had the Tekka Maki and my husband had the Mongolia beef both were wonderful.

Went there for a first date. I had never heard of the place so I had no knowledge about them. I ordered Kung pay shrimp. It was delicious! It was spicy and so good I could have eaten it all. I had to force myself to stop. I wanted left overs the next day. Our server was nice and very attentive to our needs. Always had our waters filled, etc. they served a little complimentary dessert which looked yummy but I gave mine to my date. I don’t eat sugar. He seemed to like it. It wasn’t a fabulous experience but it was good enough to try again. He eats there regularly and he LOVES their Mongolian beef. He gets it all the time apparently. Overall good experience.

Wanted a nice cool place to have Dinner. It was miserable with the temperature at 85 – 90 and very humid inside. They said there AC just can’t keep up. My house is bigger and it stays at 74 all day while I’m making Jam and canning all day. Think twice if you want AC while eating in this Redding, Ca summer heat. Will not return in the summer!

Best orange chicken I’ve ever had! So crispy and delicate with a very rich sauce. My boyfriend had the Mongolian beef and that was also excellent. Very flavorful and tender. The maitre d’s service was beyond compare. He was so friendly and helpful without ever being pushy. There was really pretty art on the walls, too. I just had an all-around wonderful experience here.

Quaint little place that is perfect for visiting. Had our Christmas Eve/Birthday celebration dinner here. I called for a reservation but it wasn’t really necessary after all. There were only 3 tables occupied. Probably my favorite Chinese food in town. Fresh, doesn’t taste like cardboard or overly salty(still plenty salty). Very fresh and tasty sushi. We weren’t looking at prices and forgot how pricey sushi can be. Oops. Worth it, as it was very enjoyable. Cashew chicken is not printed on the menu but they still offer it and it is FABULOUS. Sesame beef and veggie chow mein were delicious. Probably the FRIENDLIEST staff in town.

I see allot of good reviews for Chu’s, but I can’t agree any longer. I had a roll that was supposed to have eel on the top and the eel was missing on both ends. It was like they didn’t finish adding the eel. I’m guessing about 4 slices. The next problem with the eel was it was sliced so thin you could see through it. I couldn’t even taste it. Next was the Chu’s special salad, it only had one bite of seaweed on each salad. Not much of anything else on top either. Now onto the Kung pow scallops lots of vegetables and only 3 and a half little pieces of scallops for 10 bucks. Cutting back to save money is one thing, but they need to find savings somewhere else. Now they will have to cut back more because I won’t be spending my $ 200 a month average I spend there.

The food is fantastic! You can tell the fish is fresh and high quality. If you are in the mood for a fine dining experience with amazing sushi, this is the place. The specialty rolls are more expensive but well worth it. The staff is also very happy to serve you and more than willing to edit any roll if there are allergies or dislikes! Families can also enjoy a meal here!

Ok. I like the food here, but I think it’s the most expensive Chinese food I have had outside of a Las Vegas Shi-Shi club. Its $ 13.95 per roll for the good sushi rolls. My wife gives the sushi 5 stars, but you can get all you can eat sushi in Reno for the same price as one good roll here. The General chicken is good, but it’s $ 12.95 for a decent sized portion without anything else. Its another $ 2.50 more for steamed rice, soup, and fried won ton. That’s not that bad, but my biggest pet peeve is that you cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, get fried rice without ordering a whole plate of it. Who does that? So, if you are on a company credit card or just don’t care what anything costs, it’s a good choice.

Very friendly business owner, clean restaurant with good ambiance. Food is decent relative to the area. On the pricier end however for Chinese food.
