Middle of the run burger place. Good prices and good food.

Feels like you are in a time warp but in a good way. Just good old school burgers and fries. Normally 4 stars but the awesome chocolate shake pushed it up!

Ok… this is an old, funky burger joint with over 75 years of history, there is Nothing new or shiny about it so start from there and you will be pleased. The burger boi and I were traipsing from Oregon back to Cali so we stopped here. THE burgers we ordered were really thin and, well done but tincredibly tasty, as we got«the works» minus mayonnaise. The fries were thin and crispy and the rootbeer floats were made with soft serve. Our waitress was fast and efficient and we were fed and on the road in less than 30 minutes. We will stop by the next time we are driving through Redding.

If you are a vegetarian, try the black bean burger. It was so awesome that in the 3 days I spent in Redding, I ate it twice. I mean I had to. It was just that awesome. Being a vegetarian my options drop down drastically at times but this burger… its like a ray of hope for a vegetarian. And the fries… uhh. Nothing can beat them. I’m going again… just for that DAMBURGER! If you are in Redding, you owe a meal to this place.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago. I ordered a double dam burger(I think that was what it was called) and the patties were TINY. I ordered a salad which was also TINY and it was expensive. Not a good value and unfortunate because I’ve been trying to eat at small mom and pop places lately but I just can’t justify returning.

Been going to Damburger since I was 2. Absolutely love their burgers and the staff knows me by name. I will continue to go there!

I only gave 4:5 stars because I wish that they had different hours(11AM-2PM). We only had time to go in for fries and a shake. The fries were so good! The shake was soft serve, but I give a giant rave to the fries! I am interested to go back and try more of their food. Every time I drive by this place it is always packed. Today was no different. They were packed! That many people must mean it is doing something right.

SYNOPSIS: Mediocre(at best) food, uncomfortable dining areas, impossible parking. Keep looking. FULLREVIEW: We have gone to Damburger on a couple occasions and I have to tell you, we were even more disappointed the second time. I guess I had hoped we just happened in the first time on an off day, but it appears the chaos that is lunch there is a perennial problem. The food is ok but nothing special to make this a destination worth seeking out and certainly not worth braving what has to be the strangest counter ordering system out there. Parking in the area is a nightmare. I suppose if I just happened to be walking by at lunchtime I might stop in again but that is unlikely. Unfortunately I would say this place is NOT handicap accessible. A small entrance and very crowded seating areas would make it impossible to negotiate. And don’t even get me started about the bathroom. There aren’t enough hand wipes in the world!!!

It’s awright. Nothing I can’t make @ home. Not much menu choices. Maybe I’ll b back 4 some ice cream if I’m in the mood & in the neighborhood.

Love this place. On of my favorites. Get a double damn thing, maybe even add bacon. I’ve heard people complain about how they’re party’s are thin, but I don’t care because they taste amazing.

I’ve only eaten there a few times with my mother. Two of the three times we were seated after people who walked in after us… The waitresses are often rude and don’t care about anyone younger than 60. I’ve always ordered a regular hamburger, fries and a drink. When it comes out the meat is very thin(almost laughably so) and it’s covered with whatever vegetables you ask for. Their prices are insane for the quality of the food(no matter how«good» it tastes) and it’s usually messy. I honestly don’t know why it’s so popular.

I’ve had Damburger my whole life and to this day, still one of my favorite burgers. I’m a double cheese with ketchup only kind of person. Never greasy, and the crisp edges of the thin patties add some nice texture. I love their fries! Always get a fry sauce with them. The service is always friendly! One star lost for the high price, but if you join their texting program or like them on Facebook, you can always get an extra deal!

Good burgers! Very simple menu, a couple different burger options, hot dogs and a veggie burger. I went with the classic burger meal with fries and fry sauce. Nothing amazing but it was a good burger. I would have to say flavor wise I think In & Out has them beat but I defiantly give them another try.

I love Dam Burger. My favorite thing about them is that they are consistently good. I don’t like over-grown gut bomb burgers. Dam burgers are thin and charred properly, which gives them great flavor. Don’t need to put a bunch of extra junk on them to make them taste good. The meat speaks for itself. And the buns are always nice and fluffy and lightly toasted. A perfect hamburger for me. If you like more meat, I would suggest a double. If you like a thicker burger then they also have the Helen burger. This is a local family run business and I don’t have a problem with their prices. You definitely get what you pay for. The fries are good and they have a fry sauce that is really good also. In my opinion, the best burger in Redding.

If you want the best burger in Redding head to the Habit. I brought the wife and kid here on a Saturday, the place is ready for an update. Prices are a little on the high side. Service was pleasant and quick. The burger patties are hilariously thin, I think I could see through it. I most likely won’t be back with so many other choices.

The service was quick and the place looked clean. No complaints about the actual food(the patty WAS paper-thin). The price was ENTIRELYLAUGHABLE!!! Three tiny snack-burgers for $ 15?! Won’t return. I can make the same thing at home for WAY under $ 5(for all three).

This is my hometown burger place and when I do make the trip home to visit family there is always a Damburger trip squeezed in. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and although I no longer eat meat they have a great vegetarian burger selection. The mega-fry, cherry flavored sodas, soft serve, and delicious secret sauce just seal the deal. Hope that I will be coming back to my hometown fav for many years to come.

I was on my way to Five Guys and was driving up Yuba when I saw Damburger. After being born and raised here, but now living in the Bay Area for last 25 years, and college before that, I’ve been remiss to have never taken the plunge. How many Gene Burgers did I have growing up? I have to say it’s pretty good. Please do stop by and get the Helen Burger! Shakes are good too.
