Burger King

It’s amazing how different on BK can be from another. I have reviewed another Burger King across town, and the service and quality are so different, you would think they were on different planets! I walked into this restaurant at 12:48PM, when one would expect it to be humming with lunch business. There was one other customer in the lobby, and a few cars in the drive-​thru. A very friendly, but obviously new employee greeted me, and took my order, requiring assistance to complete it. It took over ten minutes to get my order finished, while watching other people come and go in the meantime, including some who parked their cars and came in from the drive-​thru. My food was rubbery and chewy, and the sauces usually offered with onion rings were not even an option. The food was obviously ready way before my number was called, and had been sitting under a heat lamp, as even the plastic tray was almost too hot to hold, and the chocolate chips in my wife’s cookie had melted to the paper wrapper. In the future, I will simply stay at the BK on the side of town where I live, even if doing business on Eureka Way.

I think one star is too much, today on 4÷30÷16 I ordered a whopper and when I was ready to take the first bite i saw a human long gray hair tangled up in the beef petty. this was the second time I stopped for a whopper, but it will be the last one. NO MORE BK WHOPPERS FOR ME. The young skinny girl at the cash register never greets the customers and has a zombie attitude. she never learned how to smile. anyway, I will file a complaint with the department of health because the employees are not in compliance with the department of health regulations..

My problem with this burger King amounts to this, they don’t make it my way. I went through this drive thru yesterday, ordered a Whopper without cheese, I was very specific about it, because I am allergic to it. After getting underway on my out of town trip, I discovered it had cheese. I also discovered they had not given me a receipt. Since this is not the first time it had happened here, I won’t be back.

Your average BK. Good location. Average survive. Nothing special, but nothing bad. It’s close to my house so I go now and then. Never had a bad experience.

It’s ok. This is one of those times when you get what you pay for. I do agree with Marc O.‘s recent review about the service though. The staff member handling the drive-​thru orders was excellent at customer service even after 11:00pm! However, I’ve been underwhelmed by the food ever since the International Chicken Sandwich series (from back in the 1980’s) disappeared off of their menu. The chicken sandwich I got this time was plain and unexciting. I tried their chicken fries as well and just don’t know how to describe them… overly salty and weird texture-​wise as they weren’t anything like slimmer versions of chicken tenders. Basically, I’m not sure how much of them was comprised of chicken meat.

For the first time, in a long time, I was treated with excellent customer service at a fast food joint. The employees were extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy each others company and their work. There isn’t much for dinner in West Redding and its nice to know this place has stepped up on service with a smile. I will be back.

Of all the burgers in fast food restaurants, I love the Whopper the most. Nothing but a backyard BBQ over charcoal briquets beats that charbroiled flavor of Burger King. And I’m pleased with their other sandwiches and sides. But when I am looking for a burger in Redding, you’ll find me here.

Coming out of a camping trip, and pulled into the drive-​thru of this fine establishment. They repeated our whole car’s order several times over (four orders), almost to the point of it being tiring. But, they got the whole thing right, and then some. They asked if we wanted any cream or sugar in the coffee we ordered (not standard, as far as I know, at fast food joints), and if we wanted ketchup. Not only did they make the coffee perfect, but gave us gratuitous amounts of ketchup, and even extra hashbrowns – not to mention pleeeenty of napkins to tide us over. Very friendly, will remember this BK next time!

I visit this Burger King frequently, since it’s close to home and Whoppers are a guilty pleasure of mine.
The staff here are usually friendly and helpful. They were a little slow once or twice, but I think that’s mostly because of new employees who were still unfamiliar with the registers and processes.
Their old slogan of «Have it your way.» is still alive and well here. Want a quadruple whopper with bacon, hold the tomato? You got it. I have yet to be turned down for any special orders, and I like to experiment with my orders sometimes, which those building the burgers appear to find kind of funny and entertaining, rather than irritating.
I have a young son who gets the chicken nugget kid’s meal. His one complaint is that they don’t change the toys often enough, and they never have much of a variety when it comes the toys they give out. He likes the food though, and prefers the original fries to the new Satisfries.
This particular location seems to be popular with the homeless and transient population of Redding. Usually, they’re harmless, taking shelter from the heat or rain with a coffee or a free water. Occasionally I’ve walked up to the restaurant while some creepy looking dude is in the process of getting arrested in their parking lot. Still, I’ve never felt threatened by anyone, and I have no problem bringing my 6 year old kid here. I still keep a close eye on my bike when I have it parked in the front though.
I will continue to visit this Burger King. Don’t let the grungy looking dude wearing a winter coat in the dead of summer outside bother you. He doesn’t bite… that I’m aware of.

Had to repeat I wanted cheese on my burgers 3 times and it still didn’t happen, 2 had cheese and 2 didn’t. $ 30.00 for 4 burgers 4 fries, 2 lrg drinks and 2 med drinks seems like a whole lot of money for crappy fast food.
The girl at the drive up tries to be friendly. Guess she has to be to make up for the mistakes in prepping the food.
The fries are great, only reason they deserve a single star.

New management (2months). The people here have a wonderful attitude and great service! Original Chicken Sandwich, freshly cooked, and made to perfection. Excellent job!!!

Can we say FOOD BOURNE ILLNESS?
or even DEATH!!!
What if a child ate these?
Time to take a self check here burger king & follow thru with standard food safety issues!!!
