Pop’s is our favorite neighborhood«go to» burger place. For a fast food drive-in restaurant they are right up there with In n Out. Everything is fresh — lettuce on the burger is crunchy and their special burger sauce is great. This little place if family owned and you’ll find Mom and sons working behind the counter. Their daily specials are a good bargain. Give them a try!

Very expensive for extremely low quality food. Got two meals and it was over $ 30. Rude customer service. I don’t know how they plan to keep a business with disgusting food, high prices, and unfriendly staff. Eating out of a dumpster probably would’ve tasted better. Don’t waste your money and try a better drive in.

It’s not your major fast food chain slop. This is old school with Love. It’s fast and it was delicious. It’s not made with thousand island dressing labeled secret sauce but with an amazing sauce they give ya in a squeeze bottle. Never had anything like it. The Prime Rib Philly Cheese Steak was delicious and HUGE. Pop’s does it right and frequently changes out that fry oil because our onion rings and fries were perfectly golden without that old burnt oil flavor — nothing but deliciousness served here. Our son really enjoyed his grilled cheese which was not greasy or burnt. Our strawberry shake took me back to a time when you could expect that real fruit taste, real scooped ice cream and be able to drink it with a straw, just amazing. Read my reviews, I’m as picky as they come and I loved Pop’s. Large portions so bring your appetite. Don’t be shocked by the refill price on the soft drinks, it’s only a buck. Small shops fighting off every major fast food chain in a 4 mile and less radius can’t give away everything but it’s made up for in the perfection served.

Pretty decent, burger stand type food. Some a bit overpriced, and too small for what you pay for. Service is fast, even when it’s busy. Best to avoid on Thursdays though, since it becomes crowded with classic car enthusiasts, and the parking lot is filled up with their«rods».

It’s what you would expect from a tired old establishment. It definitely needs a little love. I see the atmosphere potential, but I guess that’s just me. I’m sorry we won’t be return customers.

Poor customer service, small patties, expensive. This was my first and last visit. Double bacon cheeseburger, large fries, large soda = $ 10.02. Go about 1 mile further north and enjoy some nice Wendy’s for yourself.

Was a little run down, but I definitely felt the old pop vibe the second I came in. Came for the malts, which met expectations. Burger patty’s were a bit small, but a double should do it.

Well decided to give them another shot after about 7 years or so. Food wasn’t very good, prices were way to high. And the«mom» didnt give me the vibe she gave a damn for my business. But atleast they screwed up my order I ordered a double chili cheeseburger, got a double cheeseburger, no they weren’t busy I was the only one there! I’ll be skipping the notion to go back anytime soon.

Best old time burger in town! Their milkshakes are fantastic, i personally enjoy the blackberry. YUM! Absolutely love their onion rings. they are not the fake kind. Their burgers by far surpass gene’s burger. I always leave Pops 50 Place happy and very full. Definetely going back again and again.

I’m all for the little guy.…the independent, the mom and pop operation. Pop’s is one of those places: Pop’s is owned by a widow and her two grown sons scratching out a living in a town filled with fast food drive-ups. A blast of the past. .. .50’s — 60’s themed décor and music. Pop’s used to the home to an A&W root beer burger place. . still has the A&W orange tables. . stll looking pretty good. Friendlycounter service by owner Mom.. her boys can scowl and act like butt heads but don’t mind them. They’d don’t bite. Order, sit down, they’ll bring your chow out to your table. Yesterday it was a 3.99 bacon burger w/lettuce, tomato, onion, fries were extra… Next time my doc tells me the cholesterol level is decent I’ll go back for another one. Oh hell, I’ll go next week anyway! Great shakes. .. the real deal and better than most every place in town. Pop’s also has killer shredded beef tacos that you might want to try. Why eat fast food burgers when Pop’s has the best?

Came in today for lunch, and had a burger, fries, and shake. Had the pineapple shake, which was really good; thick and delicious. Gems needed a touch of salt, but were also delicous. Burger overall was good, but they used american cheese, which is just kinda gross. Like Ruben said, I too would pay extra for chedder or something else. Still, overall it was very good. Sketchy neighborhood though, on s. market.

Just tried this place. The service was friendly & the food was out quick. The cheeseburger was pretty good & loved the fact that they had tater tots(not sure why maybe ’cause its something besides the same old fries). Looking forward to making a return trip.

My folks live around the corner from this place, so I’ve spent a few afternoons enjoying their chocolate chip shake. WAY better than the other 50’s place down the street.
