Jaimitos Tacos

We went here on a whim because the thai place was closed around the corner. Upon walking in, the place looks fine. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. I ordered the «vegetarian burrito» but when I asked about the rice in it, they let me know there was chicken stock in it which made my burrito not so vegetarian. Not too big if a deal, I just left it out. We went to get our drinks and everything seemed dirty. then I threw something away and the garbage can had gunk and filth all over it. I know its garbage but someone could wipe it down once in a while. We sat at our somewhat clean table and had time to look around while waiting on our food. The floor was absolutely disgusting. It looked as though it hadn’t been swept or mopped in weeks let alone every day like a restaurant should. When our tray of food came out, the tray was greasy on the bottom and really dirty like they don’t wash them after every use. Anything that comes to the table is not supposed to be used again without being cleaned or thrown away. My burrito was ice cold so after two bites, I threw it away and decided I wouldn’t bother with trying to get my money back. I decided just to not ever come back. My husband liked his tacos but will also not be back due to uncleanliness. When dealing with food, cleanliness is the most important thing and when your restaurant appears dirty, its not a good sign to the customer.

Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly, the lady behind the counter was very nice and pleasant! I order 4 street tacos, not know how big or small they would be for my husband, and a chicken burrito for me, a large soda to split, and chips.
Firstly I was very sad to see we had to pay for chips as we were dining there. Something I feel cost them minimal and is nice to snack on. Then I was handed chips and an empty cup, so I wandered over to a «salsa bar» everything was almost empty. Maybe lunch rush cleared them out, but we were there little after 1 and There were only two other customers there.
As I went to the soda bar, I noticed this yellow/​orange gunk in the bottom tray of the soda machine. I should of just asked for a refund of the soda, but I didn’t want to seem rude. Grossed out I quickly filled the soda and met my husband at the one outside table, which was a bonus because we had our dog with us!
The food came out quickly! Plus!
The Burrito I had was huuuuge, and I was so excited! About 3 – 4 bites in I became super disappointed. It was nothing special for 7.95. No unique taste, it was just very meh. Tasted like a burrito I would quickly make at home. So I was very disappointed.
My husband enjoyed the tacos, we were slightly sad that the cheese was shredded cheddar that you buy in the big bulk bags… Despite that he said the meat had really good flavor but other than that they were nothing special!
So all in all, friendly fast service, I give low marks for cleanliness and sanitation, and a C for food. We sadly will not be eager to return.

Soooooo delicious! My boyfriend and i love eating here and i love the vibe inside. I’m not a big fan of their rice but everything else has been amazing and it really fills you up!

The service while quick was not overly nice. More referring to the kitchen staff that brings out the food and calls the number. I said thank you and he just turned and shuffled away in his shorts, oversized tshirt and flip flops. As for the food, the tacos was pretty good. However when I order steak I don’t expect to get shredded beef. Also the «salsa bar» leaves a lot to be desired.

The menu is simple, but fresh and made to order. For a very small price, it felt we had A feast. We had the chicken tacos and the steak tacos both with flour and corn tortillas. The guacamole is made to order and very flavorful. The service was prompt and friendly– even after my three-​year-​old niece threw a temper tantrum on the floor and my nine-​month-​old son made a big mess. I definitely would recommend this restaurant for quick and fresh Food.

Ok food customer service was good, but it was just not seasoned all that much. If you like in authentic Mexican food then you will probably like here. There nachos are a joke in size. I could not believe the platter I got. It was enough for 2 – 3 people. If you are about size that is where its at.

Well, this is my second time here and will be my last. Have you ever heard of a Mexican restaurant that is out of avocados by 6:30pm? The quantity of food is not the issue here, it’s the quality that has been unimpressive both of my visits.
I am always willing to try a place at least two times before I give it the big POR CACA.

My husband and I have eaten here a couple times. We loved the street tacos! But what we loved the most were the 2 workers who served us both times. Tanya and Richard were awesome! It was pretty busy the second time we were there and they hustled around while still providing excellent service :-) While we loved the tacos the first time we went there, it was Tanya and Richard who brought us back a second time. We had just hoped that they’d be working the second time we planned to go there :-))

I have only tried their tacos, but they are absolutely delicious!
The tacos al carbon was very rich. If you love the red sauce, it’s great. If not, it’s probably best to stick with the regular tacos. Enjoy!

Seriously the best quesadilla I have ever had!
The taco al carbon is a bit rich in flavor but the meat is really good.

Allergic to jalapenos, tasted it on the food. so apparently they added it and their solution was to just remove them by hand — what don’t they understand about
a-​l-​l-​e-​r-​g-​i-​c, This was not ok.

Not a fan. Bad food, bad service. Bleh. We ordered three fish tacos, a steak burrito and chips and salsa all to go. The cashier was pleasant. The good things stopped there.
We waited quite a while and eventually a young man (the cook?) brought out my fish tacos and placed them on the table. Apparantly our faces communicated our feelings since he hollered «Was this for here or to-​go?» at the cashier as he’s walking back to the kitchen. I guess if it was to-​go he was going to make us bag it up ourselves?
The cashier ran over to get the food and took it back, aplogizing. I could then hear him yelling at her in back, telling her to «hold on.» I’m thinking she was trying to get him to hurry and fix his mistake. Seriously, we are the ONLY customers there and the kitchen echoes. We can hear you.
He had a nasty attitude the whole time and all interactions with him were unpleasant.
We waited a while again and our food was brought out. Something looked off though, so I checked the bag and the chips and salsa was missing. I let them know and we waited a while again for that error to be corrected. While waiting I opened the box with my tacos and was extremely diaspointed. Hardly any fish, some cabbage and cilantro, tough, burnt tortillas.
As we were exiting an elderly couple were coming in. We tried to warn them, but they ignored us.
My fiancé’s burrito was lackluster. He was halfway through the burrito before he found sour cream or steak.
My fish tacos were as expected, dry dry dry. Bleh.
Some of the chips were overcooked, some were soft in the middle and all were stale. Salsa was unimpressive.
Pathetic. They just opened, where is the owner or a manager? How can the staff be trained if no one is there to train them? This place is a trainwreck.
I had a better fish taco last night at Del Taco.
