I got the lox and cream cheese bagel. The picture showed it with capers, but mine didn’t have any.

The food is reasonable, but the prices are higher than they should be for the quality. The croissant sandwich is delicous, but relatively small. I am a sucker for a good customer service experience, which they definitely provide.

Came here three time this week and two of this days croissant was out.:(how can they out at 8:30 am? I order the cranberry turkey crossaint but they r out of cranberry sauce and croissant? Seems like they constantly short staff or training new ppl. The person that take my order got the order wrong or missed something . Always a wait in the early am so try to avoid the morning rush 8 – 9 am . Pro: love my nova lox and turkey cranberry Con: avoid the coffee taste water down

I used to come here a few times a week. But, I feel like this place has gone downhill since previous ownership back around 2008. The bagels are still excellent and they still have a delicious selection of cream cheese spread. I ordered my favorite today, the Chelsea Chicken sandwich and it was just put together very sloppy and was very dry. The potato salad was too runny… ick. There is literally only pickles(or celery?) and potatoes in it. How about add some olives, bacon, hard boiled egg or maybe red potatoes to give it some extra color? What would make this place really wonderful is if they did more of a coffee bar to go with the bagels or even added more pasty options. This would work well here since there is no longer a coffee shop in Discovery Village.

We ordered a nova lox bagel sandwich and a tuna salad wrap. Pros: fresh with good flavor, nice employees happy to answer questions. Cons: very small portions not worth what we paid. I could barely see the cream cheese under the small slice of lox on each half of bagel. The tuna wrap had *maybe* a quarter cup of tuna salad. The chintzy portions were consistent, and neither sandwich resembled the picture on the menu board. For $ 16 plus, we were disappointed. If they were more generous I would recommend this place to anyone passing through town. But right now I wouldn’t.

I love the food here! Lots of good options for breakfast and lunch. But the service is so terrible each time I go it makes me not want to come back. Rude cashiers definitely need some customer service training.

Eh, this is about as close as you’re gonna get to a decent bagel in this town.

Tasty bagels and sandwiches. Good deal on the Value Packs when you can get the bagels you want. If you have special requests, you should order ahead because they sell out of the popular flavors. Make sure they put your pick up date on the correct day. The 4-star rating is for the taste/quality of the food. If I was rating them on their accuracy, it’d be 1-star. Why? I have NEVER had them get my order correct the first time. We’ve been here many times. Never. Right. They’re willing to fix it, but seriously? Anyway, just be prepared to get cheese when you ask for none and you’ll enjoy the experience.

One of the best bagel places in town they make a mean sausage and cream cheese and cheddar on poppy! I love a place that has so many bagel varieties and poppy is one of my absolute favorites! I Always stop in before work They are quick and they get to know u and your order! They are affiliated with five star and u get free coffee and bagels all the time it’s amazing! I could eat there every day if I didn’t gain weight lol. Seriously tho great place!

I don’t think the waitress understood my boyfriends question so he didn’t get the sandwich he wanted and the pasta salad was so bad he wouldn’t eat it. The actual bagel sandwich was not a bagel really more like regular bread in a bagel shape. Texans are picky about what a bagel really is. The BLT was just two strips of super thin bacon that didn’t even cover half the sandwich. As far as gluten free options there was nothing because the girl couldn’t make me a salad only managers can do that apparently so I didn’t get anything to eat t all. Then I came back to get my boyfriends order five minuets later and a lady was getting her freshly made salad… That was ridiculous

wow! i hate to be that guy to write a review but i can’t help it. Today my wife and i went to grab some breaky here like we have done many times before. I have to admit that when we joke about who’s order is going to be screwed up i get a quick laugh before i start the day. The food is always good its just that these people working here cant get an order right to save there life. i would say that out of 10 visits 6 times it will be screwed. when we go see or boy at the bagel deli he never messes our order up and its just one guy. im fed up with you guys sucks that i cant go get my $ 12 breaky anymore.

Great service! Excellent selection but it’s still not an easy coast bagel! They try and they do a very good job with the variety of bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Ask for a toasted Bagel because they come a bit«undercrisp» for you crispy people. Highly recommended if in the area for work or a quick visit!

Rolled through here on our way to Seattle and while it fit the bill of breakfast I’m not sure id return. The bagels did not taste fresh and were quite«chewy». Even when having it toasted it didn’t seem to help. I had a garlic bagel and the garlic stuck to my teeth like glue… bleh! I have yet to try any other bagel places in redding but I know for sure we won’t be returning here.

I’m not from town, I stopped in and had an Asiago cheese bagel with sun dried tomato basil spread and it was very good. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. They gave fresh brewed iced tea, which us a major plus in my book.

Stopped in and tried their Nova Lox sandwich as I had yet to come across a Nova Lox sandwich that I didn’t like! On the positive side of things, they are quite generous with some of the quality ingredients: cream cheese and capers. And, once again, great attentive service and to-go packaging job. On the flip-side, the ingredients in the sandwich were distributed very unevenly so the saltiness of the capers would dominate in one bite, then you seem to get nothing but cream cheese in another, etc. It’s an «A-ok» sandwich for sure, but for $ 7.99 I was expecting it to be a little better than it was.

I love this place. They have a ton of bagel options– anything from sweet to salty to plain. They have any drink you want– fountain, teas, milk, orange juice, etc. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Their«everything bagels» are very tasty. My favorite is their bagel sandwiches– juicy and sturdy(not falling apart like most sandwiches) Their chocolate chip bagels are also really tasty. Very fast and friendly service, even when they are crowded.
