Redding’s Ultimate Pizza

Our favorite pizza place in town, perfect every time, with lots of garlic. Just tried their Chicken Bacon Ranch — very good, bacon is crispy on top, delicious! The crust is outstanding. It’s a must-​try place.

Great local family owned place. Outstanding pizza. The crust is light, fresh and tasty. Just the right amount of crisp to avoid a soggy pie. The sauce is subtle, with a complex tang of fresh herbs.
Always check online first for coupons and specials. We usually take out or get delivery. The place is small, next to the gas station. It is not a «date» destination. Individual slices are available.

Super yummy & great flavor. And they have gluten free pizza too. The Sgt Peppers vegetarian is our favorite. The white creamy sauce they used was amazing. They work hard to make a pizza that fits your style and diet needs. Mind you, it’s not a $ 5 pizza, but you’ll never enjoy the taste of those pizzas like you will pizzas from here!

Best pizza in town! The sauce is flavorful and tastes very fresh and the they have a huge varieties of veggies. My favorite is the ultimate salad with ranch. I like veggies if you can’t tell. Also, The ranch is not the bottled type for those who are picky about that (I am) it might be a little more expensive, but I am willing to pay a little more and shop local. I don’t like going anywhere else, this is the pizza in town!

Let’s start by saying I eat quite a bit of pizza. The first time I ordered their pizza, it immediately flashed through my taste buds as really good. My wife is very picky too, and she really enjoys their pizza including their gluten free crust. I would highly recommend it. I don’t know what their secret (s) are, but dang good!

This was our third attempt and sad to say we won’t be back. The first time we had it delivered and it was 35 minutes late. The driver dropped and ran. By the time we opened the box to discover the completely wrong pizza the driver was gone. When we called and complained the cashier actually argued with us and stated we actually ordered wrong and it wasn’t his fault. Not sure how «pepperoni» turned into «Hawaiian with white sauce». We had to drive the pizza back and pick up the right one and never even got an apology and ate dinner 2 hrs after we placed our original order. The second try the delivery was again 30 minutes late (we live 3 miles away). Final try, skipped delivery and order while in the restaurant to go. She said «it will be ready in 15 minutes» as there was no one else there we believed her. After watch people sit and scroll on their cell phones we got our pizza 40 minutes later. It’s a bummer because the pizza is good but the service is absolutely the worst in town.

Better than you can hope for. I feel this is the best tasting pizza in Redding. So far I have tried Shasta, Westside, and the pizza place at the Chevron on Airport with the Turboz Deli. That pizza place isn’t bad for the money they charge, Westside is no better than Little Caesars, except the certainly do not charge Little Caesar’s prices. Shasta is hit or miss. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn’t. As it cools or is reheated it gets greasy so it needs to be eaten fully when it is delivered.
Ultimate is WORTH making the drive from all the way across town on Galaxy/​Shasta View. I have eaten it three times and it hasn’t let me down yet. Ingredients are high quality and the staff is very friendly. Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself.

I would give them 5 stars but to be honest I have had better pizza. That said, I think it is a good quality pizza at a good price and my two older sons love it. We order it almost every Friday and their delivery is always on time.

Great pizza every time we go here. The sauce and crust is so tasty. He have tried the combos, plain pepperoni and the ingredients are good.

If your in the mood for just a bit different than the regular pizza, but you want it to be an awesome «different» (meaning freaking good”)…come here!!! They have such flavorful sauce & even the crust!!! It’s just sooooo good. I’ll say my youngest prefers Papa Murphy’s or Round Table because their pizza is less garlicky. (Is that a word? If not it is now!) but they have an awesome one that has whole leaves of garlic & mozzarella with a while sauce? Can’t remember the name but oh so good! The restaurant itself is a little blah, very casual. Kinda small, almost better to just order to go. That’s not to be unkind to the staff because they are always very sweet! It’s just not an inviting cozy place to me personally? But the quality pizza more than makes up for their décor! Love ‘em!

My wife and I love Reddings Ultimate. All I have to say is fresh pizza that isn’t greasy. Delivery is fast and the guys are always pretty cool and polite. Pretty much sums them up. Solid pizza place. Oh and the sourdough crust they use is bomb

Well, I have been hearing from folks (mostly co-​workers) how Ultimate Pizza is not the same. Just bought a $ 5 salad that I threw in the garbage (Do Not order delivery nor to-​go). The last 3 times (summer 2014) I’ve ordered from Ultimate: mediocre pizza at best (used to be good).

Been eating UPC for years and years and its seriously the best pizza in redding! I will always choose them first for pizza locally. Try any pizza it doesn’t matter sauce, dough, toppings all top notch.

A very decent pizza place in a lonely and empty part of the town. If not for the Unilocal reviews, I wouldn’t have known about this place.
The place itself has a 60s rock band theme. There’s an Elvis Pesto pizza, a Sergeant Pepper’s pizza, and their kitchen is named «Abbey Road». Pretty cute, right? Their pizza is thick crust style, and the ingredients on it are delicious. I wasn’t that into the chicken fingers, but the pizza was definitely worth it.
Stop by here if you’re in town, and grab a pizza and beer! The staff is really nice, and they seem to be quite well-​known locally.
