It was good but needed another couple of minutes to cook. They need to make it very clear on the menu board that it’s one price for any and all toppings. I didn’t like the person at the oven constantly yelling something about the pizzas coming out of the oven. It was very annoying to hear as we were trying to talk. I like the different sizes but don’t know if they offer any different kinds of crust.

I’ve been here twice and the pizza is OK. I have had better. I like the idea of creating your own pizza but I have had 2 different pizzas but they taste the same. My bf only gets the mod salad because he doesn’t like thin crust pizza. I like thin crust pizza but I prefer other places crust. My favorite thing is there blackberry lemonade(I think that’s what it is.)

I have been to this location twice and found the food good! I’m a big fan of thin pizzas. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and the line usually doesn’t take too long. Today though, was a bad experience day because we almost ate a considerably sized yellow plastic in their Cooper pizza. Talked to the manager about it but her response was basically«Too bad, not our fault.» A gentleman sitting near us also found a piece of yellow plastic in his Cooper and complained to the manager, getting a similar response. According to the manager, apparently the plastic bits are sometimes found in their Cooper pizza? I don’t know why the manager seemed okay with that fact. I would exercise caution when eating.

Not only is this place in a great location, but the pizza is delicious and service is on point! The selection of pizza sizes and toppings are amazing — a step above the competition. The crust is tasty too! The place is spotless, which is a big plus.

The little extra boldness and uniqueness is what separates them from the other individual pizza places… one of my favorite places to eat in general is MOD.

Very good pizza, ingredients are all fresh! We had the Caesar salad also and it was very good very crunch and tasty. I would recommend the Dillion James for those that like a more Mediterranean like pizza. Will be coming back. Ask for Jose or Chandra

Must say when it comes to build your own pizza, this place takes the pie. Getting to choose whatever toppings you want, and mix and match however you want is the best. Definitely will be coming back here in the future!

Haven’t been to MOD in a while but will DEFINITELY become a regular thanks to the team there and especially JESUS! He was overwhelmingly friendly and extremely good at multi tasking. His energy is contagious and he has won over my business for life !

Wow! Seriously there are so many assembly line pizza places around nowadays. Pieology, Blaze, Pizza Rev, and now Mod Pizza! First off, the restaurant is pretty cute. What I loved the most is the wall of pictures, showing their customers. You can feel a sense of community there, which is nice especially in the small town of Redlands. I went on a Saturday afternoon — it was a bit busy, probably a 20 min wait with 20 people ahead of me(no joke). Once it was my turn, the staff was very friendly and made sure to take care of my pizza. After I paid it only took a few minutes and my pizza was hawt and ready. I enjoyed my pizza. especially since the cheese was melty and gooey. I also enjoyed one of their unique teas(I got pear that day), which they served among a variety of drinks(like beer, sodas, and milkshakes). In comparison to the similar pizza places — they are all very similar to me. I haven’t been to Blaze, they almost have the same ingredients as Pielogy… but PizzaRev has a little more ingredients to offer, so they are still my favorite. Overall, I am a fan and I am happy to enjoy this place whenever I am in the area. Thanks!

Tried this place the other day. They have some different toppings like beef, cauliflower, roasted garlic when compared to pieology so it’s a good place to mix things up if you eat pizza on the regular, but the concept behind the restaurant is the same. I feel like the crust is a little better at pieology and something was very salty in the pizzas we ordered here. Will go back to try again soon and increase to rating to four stars if the salt issue was a one time thing.

Always a good thing when great dining options pop up in the IE! Service was excellent and our pizzas and salads perfect! I love that they offer different sizes for each, depending on your mood you can have a large pizza and small salad, vice versa or just one. I always love both and had a regular sized pizza as well as a small salad which still turned out to be huge by the time they loaded it with toppings for me. Mod has a much larger selection of toppings as well. Fresh lemonades, all very tasty and worth getting a drink here. Desserts I have not yet tried but sound amazing as well. Cool space, clean with plenty of seating. Prices and quality are great, worth a stop!

A solid make your own pizza place. Everyone compares it to Pieology, and it indeed isn’t as good. I would still recommend going here. The pizzas are great and their lemonade is really awesome. I would come back in the future. I would recommend the Ulysses.

First time visiting MOD Pizza, but I am a huge fan of pizza and these new pizza places that have been opening up. When my girlfriend and I came in the front door, we were immediately welcomed by all the staff from behind the counter. It was nice to be noticed when we first walked in. The line was a little long, but the staff was able to have the line moving steadily and we were able to order quickly. The GM, Briahna, was very friendly and I was able to ask her about MOD. I was unaware, but MOD started in Seattle and was the one to start this pizza trend. I told her that I’ve been to Pieology before and she said that the creator of Pieology use to work for MOD and that Pieology was the original name that they were going to go with before they decided to go with the name MOD. Anyways, when you order your pizza, it is unlimited toppings, you just pay for the size you want. We ordered the MOD size pizza which is the 11″ pizza. I ordered the Mad Dog pizza which comes mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, crumble meatballs, and MOD red sauce. To take advantage of the toppings I added bacon and spicy sausage. The crust was thin, cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My girlfriend ordered a custom pizza, MOD size also, with tomato and bacon. We also ordered garlic strips which came with different dipping sauces; ranch, marinara, pesto, and spicy ranch. As usual with any of my pizza, I had a nice amber beer to wash it down. I drank Fat Tire, but they had other beers, along with a few on tap. I thought the beer being on tap was awesome and really set them apart from other pizza places like this. Looking at other reviews and tips, people kept mentioning the Marion Blackberry Lemonade. So I got some and it was amazing. Had such a great flavor, wasn’t too sweet, but wasn’t really bitter. All the staff were extremely nice, and seemed to enjoy their job at MOD. Talking with Briahna, the GM, she said that MOD prides themselves on being different/unique. Their saying is «Keep MOD Weird», and that makes it a fun work environment for their employees which seems to translate to outstanding customer service. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to try a different pizza and their cinnamon sticks.

I’ve been to Blaze Pizza a dozen times, so I decided to try one of the competitors. Instead of a Build Your Own, I thought I would try one of the pre-designed ones — the Caspian(BBQ sauce and chicken). Bad idea. They put barelyyyy anything on the pizza. For example, there were only four red onion rings placed on the whole pizza. The only thing I asked to be added extra was basil, and they barely sprinkled any of the dried basil crumbs on it. Of course, you can ask for more to be added and it’s all the same price. However, I just wanted to try getting one of the pre-designed ones as-is for the first time. Next time I won’t… If you’re going here, definitely just do the build it yourself option so that you can get as many toppings as you want, with as much of each as you want. I get the idea that they’re stingy with all of the pre-designed ones. As for service… I went on a Friday night and it was veryyy busy. The line took quite a long time. The employees putting toppings on the pizza did not seem too friendly. They were just trying to get through all the people. EDIT: I decided to give it another chance, this time doing a Build Your Own. That was MUCH better, as I had as many toppings as I wanted. However, they still seemed a bit stingy compared to Blaze Pizza. The pizza size is slightly smaller, they give less of each topping, and even the crust is thinner. Both my pizza and my husband’s were burned on the edges, and the crust was just very thin and crispy, with none of the slightly chewy texture that makes it good. My husband’s had quite a few big pockets of air in the crust. All in all, Blaze is better. You get more for your money, and you don’t have to worry about it being burned.
