I LOVE this place! They are always super friendly and polite and I love their Aztec Mocha’s. Their breakfast sandwiches are also stellar. It’s fun to walk up on the weekends and head to the bike trail.

Love coming here!!! Great coffee… Super sweet. Whenever I say I’m going to the coffee bank the whole office I work at gives me their order!!! :)

I went there purely based on Unilocal reviews. I thought it was going to be amazing, it was not. I had a vanilla latte that was not good and my daughter had a hot chocolate and she didn’t like it(a kid not liking hot chocolate means it was really not great). I wonder if it was because we were there on a Sunday morning and perhaps they didn’t have their best barista in place? She was super nice, but great service doesn’t always make great coffee. At about halfway through our drinks we realized we weren’t going to finish them. We were going to Top Pot anyway so we each got a drink there instead. Sorry Cascade Grind! I’ll give you another try based on your Unilocal reviews.

A drive-thru coffee stand, with superb coffee! The 12oz and 16oz latte there have 2 shots, and the espresso was great. Timely service and no crowd most of the time.

This place is awesome, probably the best coffee place on the Eastside. The coffee and tea here is amazing and the service is excellent. I’ve never had a bad experience here. It might not look like much on the outside but this is the epitome of not judging a book by its cover.

It’ll feel a little weird as you think you’re pulling into the spa/hot tub place, but it’s worth the momentary awkwardness. The most noteworthy aspect of Cascade Grind is the service. Shana and Jackie in particular are an order of magnitude above anything you’ll find at a chain coffee place — Jackie somehow recognized me and remembered my wife’s(complicated) order after just one time through, as well as topics of conversation, names, and so on. They remain remarkably cheerful and friendly without being«too much»(you know what I mean), which is likely very useful for a lot of us caffeine addicts before we get our fix. Coffee-wise, the quality is well above average but perhaps not«coffee snob» material. I believe they use a medium/dark full city blend from Middle Fork Roasters, which has a smooth and non-acidic full-bodied finish with a fairly standard nose and no noteworthy flavor accents. You won’t catch any notes of berries or hazelnut as you sip on the straight espresso, but let’s be honest – you’re probably not drinking the straight espresso, anyhow! That gets to the flavor and accoutrements selection, which is exceptionally good for a seemingly little coffee stand. There’s a wide variety of DaVinci syrups(including some hard-to-find ones like lavender) and lots of suggestions for flavor combinations. Most every milk choice is available, ranging from all the dairy fat percentages to soy and almond. Extraction and craft on the drinks is amazingly consistent and good. I usually just drink an Americano, and I’ve yet to taste a bitter over-extraction or watery over-extraction. My wife’s complicated latte(white chocolate, lavender, vanilla, whole milk, extra shot, something something?) has always come out perfect and consistent, as well. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to local competition. Alas, that doesn’t really avail me much, because the spectacular service leaves me tipping way more at Cascade than I do elsewhere. Between the great coffee and truly exceptional service, Cascade Grind has become my go-to place for quick coffee on the eastside. Remember to grab a punch card(buy 10 get 1) or a prepay(buy 10 get 2), because you’ll likely get hooked after you try it once.

So much faster than Starbucks! Also numerous sugar-free flavors! I’ve been coming to this stand for over a year on my way to Happy Nest, GreatPlay and basically downtown Redmond in general. The baristas always remember my drink and have it started as soon as I pull up. Plus pre-pay 10 drinks and get 2 free! Much less expensive than Starbucks. Hidden gem for sure.

Pretty sure this is the best coffee in all of Redmond. No joke. Their baristas are insanely nice, always remember me and my regular order, and shower my dog with treats when we bring her. Plus you can’t beat the prices. Mexican mocha is my go to drink of choice but I have several friends who regularly visit this place and say they’ve never had a bad drink.

The coffee is delicious, prices are reasonable and the people are really friendly. I walk my dog through the drive-thru/walk-thru on the weekends and they always have treats for my dog, so he loves walking to coffee as much as I do. They’ll give you a punch card so you can earn free coffee. Love this place, keep up the great work!

We love Cascade Grind! My husband goes there all the time for coffee. And they give our dog, Gabby, treats so she will even take me there on our walk when I have no need to grab a drink! I love their hot apple cider! They also have decent bagels and breakfast sandwiches if you’re in a pinch and need breakfast before heading off to work! The best part though are the ladies. They all have bright cheery personalities. They remember you and what you drink. Also if you plan to return, ask about their punch card. :)

Love the coffee and the people at cascade Grind. Always friendly and they do a great job even when super busy. The mexican mochas are made perfectly iced or hot. Also they offer a great variety of dairy milk alternatives. Worth skipping Starbucks to come here. Thanks for making my week better with coffee and a smile, Shana and the team at Cascade Grind

Checked out this place because I was enticed by the $ 5 for $ 10 deal. Kind of a weird deal(I’ve never had drive-thru coffee.?), but the barista working was super friendly and helpful and I felt welcomed to the awkward little shack. The syrup selection is pretty extensive and their sizes are awesome for their price point. The coffee itself was just okay, but the service stands out.

Great local drive though, and the baristas are so friendly. They will literally customize any drink you want, and do so very well! Inexpensive, tasty and great service, all I need for a great coffee experience!

This place is amazing! My boyfriend & I go here and the girls are just the sweetest and always make our day with their awesome personalities. Their flavors are just too good, and they always make their coffee to perfection. *Lavender Vanilla Americano is the bee’s knees :)

Convenient and fast way to get your morning coffee fix, and the friendly service puts them at 4 stars for me :) I’ve only ever tried their americano, but it’s solid and way better than your nearest chain store offering. They are pretty heavy on the cream if you request it, but I prefer it that way so it’s all right by me.

Great coffee for a great price! I really liked the diversity of flavors they had and appreciated that they had sugar free options for most of them. I had a 20oz latte with whole milk & the sugar free English Toffee flavor. Really enjoyed it!

First time at this place. Like a dork I missed the enterance so it was a bit hard to see. I used the current Unilocal deal which was 5 for 10. I ordered two americanos one with sugar free white chocolate and one with regular white chocolate and soy. I was really happy that on the menu it stated how many shots went into their drinks. At some coffee places this is misleading. I was happy to see I got three shots in a 20 oz americano. Quick and friendly service and my drink was delicious. These people are doin it right! I will definitely be back.

The checklist of a great coffee /tea /morning drink place: [ x ] Drive through [ x ] Accepts walk-ups [ x ] Fast service [ x ] Friendly staff, that remember who you are and what you order [ x ] Wide selection of drinks [ x ] Able to customize drinks easily [ x ] Variety of drink sizes, including a few non-standard ones(24 ounce) [ x ] Variety of options for shots in said drinks [ x ] Cheap I could go on with items that Cascade Grind has, but the gist of it is, this is a local owned and operated coffee /drink shop that has the best service in Redmond. It is built in on part of an old bank drive through, so the building may look a little odd, but the service is first class and the selection second to none.
