Had lunch here today and have eaten before many times. Had Special Chow Phun and house fried rice. Outstanding to say the least. Bar B Que pork was very good as well. The food is high quality and service was very attentive. As I mentioned we have eaten here over the years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend give they a try.

I WAS a regular here at Cindy’s, but Ido have my complaints. The egg flour soup is a favorite of both my boyfriend and I, but when it comes to the actual entrée’s, I have always been slightly disappointed. Either with the taste of a sauce, the blandness of the pork fried rice, or the dry taste of the meat. I have also been very upset with the«crab» puffs, which should be renamed to cream cheese won tons. I’d recommend the 20 minute drive to bend instead of trying Cindy’s. I probably won’t return.

From Vancouver, B.C., where with a huge Chinese populations, comes with great Chinese food. Small town U.S.A., my expectations was much lower, and I have actually never dined in a Chinese restaurant in the U.S. other than in Seattle. We came here, because at 9:09pm, nothing else was open, except for burger and pizza places. The server was very accommodating, since the restaurant was closing at 9:30pm. We quickly ordered a combo(#3) that included fried rice, bbq pork, deep fried chicken, and some vegetables. We also ordered Sichuan green beans(came with rice), and Special Stir-fried Rice Noodles. For 4 people, this was a lot of food for a reasonable price. The combo was not edible to me, but the rice noodle and green beans were delicious, but quite salty. The shrimp that came with the rice noodles were not fresh anymore. Other than that, everything was better than I could cook at home. The server made suggestions to us to suite our Chinese palates more, and I found her service excellent. And lastly, the décor at this restaurant was really nice and tastefully done. Everything was clean, and the seats were very comfortable.

Dined here recently on a Saturday evening. Since I have had Chinese food in places like New York and San Francisco, I can’t say this was the best but it was very good. We were seated immediately in a very comfortable booth. Service was very fast, attentive, and efficient. The décor was very pleasing with jade-colored glass partitions and salmon-colored blinds that diffused a rosy hue to the room. We ordered a sizzling platter that came with soup, rice, and tea. It was very good, and since I tend to rate Chinese restaurants to some extent on the quality of their hot and sour soup, I found theirs to be above average, at least. The portions are large which is why my companion and I ordered one dish to split and that was plenty for the two of us. Prices are quite reasonable and we enjoyed an excellent dinner for $ 20, and that included a 17.5% tip. This is the first Chinese restaurant I have tried since recently moving to Redmond and plan to try several others, but I would highly recommend Cindy’s. We will absolutely go here again.

Ordered delivery, it was on time, hot, and delicious! My orange chicken was delightful, little slices of orange peel or something was included. Crab puffs were excellent, fried shrimp was plentiful(rare!). Interactions with staff were very polite, from the man on the phone to the very nice delivery girl. Will order again!

My wife and I had lunch there about four months ago as she wanted«cheap Chinese food.» Yeah, she got it alright! If readers have any semblance of knowledge about what quality is in Chinese food avoid this place! Locals and tourists, go some where else! We have had authentic Chinese food many times in Chinatown in San Francisco. Cindy’s is a poor imitation. Lunch entrees come with«egg roll,» soup, «rice» and the main course. The egg roll is mostly greasy dough with little inside. The«soup» for lack of a better term, is largely tasteless devoid of ingredients. The fried rice tasted like something else but not rice. Our main course segment had fresh meat and veggies but C– at best. When my wife sampled the rice she remarked that it seemed like instant rice. We know the difference. It was likely something they buy in a huge box or bag, add water, cook and serve. Even thought they claim to not use MSG in anything, right after finishing our«meal» I had a very nasty headache lasting for about three hours. It was obvious to me this came from some additive in the food. I believe it came from the horrid«fried rice.» I truly wonder if Panda Express near Walmart in Redmond might be a better choice! Don’t waste your time or $ folks. If a wanna get“filled up” you will do fine here. Filled up on what I have no idea…

Their service sucks. There was no hello when we walked in just 2 people? And it took about 15 mins to order and took forever to receive my soup.

Coming from the Seattle area we were very surprised at how good the food was! The atmosphere was what you would want to see, the service was prompt, almost too prompt, the combination plates we enjoyed were spot on and plentiful, enough to take left overs home for the following nights dinner. We will go back.

The food was great. If your religion doesn’t let you eat outside meat just let your waitress know and they will make your food without any meat sauce. you even get served by cindy who owns the place shes so sweet and caring. It is pricy but the portions make up for it. definitely try the shrimp and black bean sauce its yummy. Overall its clean, and nice with a great staff.

Surprised about how good the Chinese food is here. Portions are big and the service is quick. Pot stickers were the best I’ve had. Homemade and the sauce that came with it was perfect. What I like about this restaurant is that they do not cook with MSG. Also order the beef chow fun if you like noodle dishes.

The food isn’t bad here, it’s not as good as Chan’s, but it’ll do in a pinch. The staff is very friendly.

When you find one hair in your take out you are grossed out, when you find a second hair you are probably disgusted and losing your appetite, when you find an entire clump of hair… you ordered from Cindy’s! We ordered for the first time when we had company over. We were all pretty hungry and ordered $ 60 worth of food. My husband picked it up and brought it home. When we opened the orange chicken there was a visible hair on top we scooped some out and found a whole ball of long, black hair. It was actually cooked into the breading of the chicken(see pictures). ABSOLUTELYTHEMOSTDISGUSTING«FOOD» I HAVEEVERSEEN. We immediately called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager, the woman on the phone suddenly couldn’t understand us when we told her the situation. We boxed everything up and took it back, the woman argued with my husband and shoved the food back across the counter at him several times saying we should keep the rest of the food because it was only the one dish that was bad… um no, thanks. She finally agreed to give our money back in cash not a refund on our card. We will never, ever attempt to eat at this establishment again.

My husband and I eat here at least once a month. The service is always good /friendly. The quantities are more than you’d expect as I always take home enough leftovers for another meal. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We always go there early afternoon and there’s not a big crowd then. If you’re looking for ritzy elegant, this is not for you, but for a good family meal, you can’t beat the food and prices.

I love Cindy’s! We usually go to there for lunch because the specials are so good that it’s usually cheaper than fast food. We have been going there for a long time and the staff is always very friendly and the food is always good. I have heard of other people having bad experiences there, but that has never been the case for me.

A Sunday in July, I went to Cindy’s once again, thinking surely they can’t be as bad 5 out of 5 times. Wrong. They nailed it. Food mediocre at best. Service overtly hostile, begrudging, and mostly nonexistent. Unless you’re a starving masochist about to faint from hunger, I suggest you keep on heading down the road

Craving Chinese food after just relocating here from the Seattle area, perhaps my expectations were too high. «Sunday Dim Sum»! I can hardly wait. What a sad joke. I came in looking for the Dim Sum cart to be wheeling through the dining area. NOPE. A dim sum plate is offered: tasteless vegetarian chow mein and three kinds of dim sum directly out of the supermarket freezer case and microwaved. They whole plate was disgusting. The service was«who cares you’re here». The restaurant is beautifully appointed and clean. That’s about the only good thing I can say. I may get desperate enough to come back someday and try the regular menu, but I doubt it.

On October 21st6:28PM I placed an online order for drive thru pick up at 7:00. I got there at 7:05 and when I told them that I came for an online order I got a confused look. Then I had to talk to someone else who told me that they never got my order. I got an apology but thats’s it. I drove all the way to the restaurant for no reason, I even printed out a confirmation. If you are going to order online then call them for a confirmation that they got your order. Then what is the point of online order, just call for your order.

I’m absolutely weary of Chinese food restaurants, just to make my bias known. I ventured to Cindy’s only because my coworker want Chinese food and it close to out shitty motel.(Feel free to check my review of Remond Inn if you looking for a place not to stay.) Cindy’s was a pleasant surprise. The dining room was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff was attentive and friend. And the food was pretty tasty and largely portioned. If I ever have a craving for Chinese food, and am in Redmond, I’d go here again.

This is the gold standard for American-style Chinese food. Who would expect fantastic food from some random Chinese place in the middle of Oregon? I sure wouldn’t. Yet, nevertheless, it’s got some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my share. The service is fine, but it’s really the food that makes this place. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like from Cindy’s. In particular, I love the crab puffs and the sesame beef. Their fried rice and soft-noodle chow mein are also great, and their sweet and sour sauce is well made. I try to go here whenever I’m visiting family in the area. Their website lets you order online, which is great, and if you order a certain amount, they give you a bonus item. They’ve also never screwed up our order. Anyway, if you have a mind for Chinese, check them out.
