Good & sloppy Reuben’s. Friendly staff, lots of parking. When I’m up in Redmond this will be a stop.

I love this place. We usually sit at the bar and everyone is friendly. The appetizers are good and there is a huge selection of beer and if you feel like a mixed drink they are good at it. This is our place to go when we want to chill. Thank you!

Classic dive bar. Food is simple and quite good. It is open late on weekdays; probably the only place in the area that is. Within the limitations of its genre, it is awesome.

I love J Michaels. On Mondays they have a free hot dog bar complete with condiments and chilli. All sorts of games plus two pool tables. Cheap and delicious pub food. REALLY nice bartenders and owners. Cheap drinks, too. Lots of large TVs with sports packages. Pretty much as good a dive in town.

Solid place to watch football. Wish they would lock out the juke box during Mariners and Sounders games. Are there any«sports bars» left?

Went in on Memorial day for an early lunch. Had eaten there before and enjoyed the food. The décor is nice, but you gotta move some chairs outta the way to sit at a table — they really cram them together. This time it was a meh visit. The menu says burgers are served with all condiments on the side, so I didn’t bother ordering special like I have to elsewhere(I hate pickles and mayo). Well, my burger comes and it’s piled high with condiments, including the hated pickles and mayo. I said I was surprised because the menu said all that should be on the side. She said they had a new«chef»(her words) and he did it this way. She offered to have him remake the bun but I could just as easily set aside the sloppy mayo half. As for the pickles, they soak into everything so short of getting a whole new sandwich, it is what it is. The burger was unremarkable. The bun seemed to be a few days old, very dry. Patty just blah. Tater tots were good but portion was skimpy. Diet Coke was way too syrupy.

I ordered take-out of some wings(level 4⁄5), they were absolutely phenomenal. Job well done. When I walked into the bar, I got a weird feeling that I was out of place. Very strange, looked like a nice bar, lots of TVs and whatnot everywhere, just got a weird vibe from the building, like I didnt belong. Great food though! Worth the awkward moment of being inside.

J Michael’s Pub is a fine establishment. I absolutely love this place, in particular the service and beer selection. I also absolutely love the bartenders Michelle and Erin. My only complaint is that I wish they had more HDTV’s. Currently they only have about 40TV’s which creates a little bit of open wall space that could be used for more TV’s!

Went here on a Sunday evening and ordered a long island. I have no clue what the bartender made but it was the grossest thing I have ever had the misfortune of drinking. So I ended up not drinking it and I went up for a second attempt. This time I asked for a bit of amaretto on top. Fingers crossed i went back to my table to try the drink. Tongue hopeful, I sipped my new drink. This time it was sugary $#!+ awesome. I was hoping for a good time, sadly i was pretty disappointed

I am really happy and fortunate to live within a stone’s throw of this fine pub and eatery. I’ve been here a handful of times both with friends and rolling solo and each visit was comfortable and inviting. It is what you make of it. Erin the bartender is very friendly and My kind of gal as she says she is jealous each time I receive my order of hot wings and am about to dive in. I have only ordered the wings four stars in heat and have been really pleased with the flavor and how the wings were cooked. I rank them ahead of Wing Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings. I know wings are a personal preference like all food, but can’t give these enough praise as they are among my all time favorites. The beer selection is good enough. I don’t need 150 beers on tap. A few of these strong local PNW beers will send me walking home light on my feet. As far as ambiance– I love the come as you are unpretentious vibe here. Lots of smallish big screens hung and wired by some Pollock with coax and electrical wires strewn about the bar like Charlotte’s(dive bar) Web. I chuckle every time I see it. Still, all the important games are on and the local crowd here makes watching a game comfortable. I’ve noticed the genius management at J. Michael’s set up a complimentary nacho station during weekend games. That’s bonus star material– bumping them up to the full boat. I don’t want to overrate, but I can’t help but award JMP&E for their fine efforts to satisfy. I hear the other food is really good. I might try it some day if I am still hungry after my delicious wings.

This is such a fantastic hangout for watching sporting events, especially the Seahawks. It always a friendly crowd, and the staff is super friendly too. The food portions are huge and tasty. One thing that’s very unique is that during Seahawks games, the staff throws a potluck type event, in which people going to the bar will bring lots of food, and the staff provides food as well. It really creates a friendly environment when people show up with food during these games. I have never been to any bar and grill that has done that, so this is really great that they provide the atmosphere for potlucks, etc.

I wasn’t blown away by this place. J Michaels is hidden around the corner from QFC in Redmond. We went in and felt very out of place. There was lots of people and it seemed kinda like we were intruding since we’d never been there before. The guy that rang up our pitcher and food was super nice and the food was good(we had the cheesesticks and nachos) but we felt uncomfortable(not unsafe, just kinda unwelcome) so we left after that :(

Great place, cheap drinks, great food(try the club house). Staff and the owner take good care of their guest. They go out of the way to make sure people are having fun and that they are safe. This place does attract a unique diverse crowd.

J Michael’s is our new local«go to.» You cannot get any more of a local and laid back feel. We like to stop by for an after work or after dinner drink and sometimes a bite. The bartenders are super friendly and make an effort to remember you and your name which is always appreciated. Food is good — there are typical bar appetizers galore. HellooOOO mac and cheese bites — who doesn’t love a triangle of gooey yummy mac and cheese that is battered and fried? We also love the sandwiches and burgers are huge and leave you happy and satisfied. Last night we enjoyed trivia for the first time here. SO much fun. The trivia host knew we were newbies and made us feel welcome, included us in the trivia fun. Overall super fun impromptu Wed night. We also love that the crowd is varied, something or shall i say someone for everyone!

This place is very unassuming from outside. You walk in and it screams neighborhood bar! Tons of regulars. Everyone has been friendly. My coworkers and I stop in about 3 times a week. The wait staff is awesome, very low key. I Love their wings, my coworkers would kill for the Au jus burger, get it with bacon and a side of tater tots! Killer combo! Last night we had the chili burger and it was massive! Its a great place to unwind! Just remember they dont cook fancy. They have chicken and beef and you have to order your drinks at the bar. So far we have tried: — Chili Burger — Tachos(Nachos with tater tots instead of chips) — Au jus Burger w/bacon — Regular burger — Hot wings rated 4 hot with blue cheese

A very fun place to be. For a dive bar tag that people name it, it is well lit compared to the other bars in the category and classier than most. The bar tenders are very friendly every time I have visited. They are also very patient with you as there are so many drinks on their wall! Many beers on tap, all the fun mixes you can think of, and great personalities that are all ready to have a good time and clean fun makes this place easy to visit. They sport 2 billiard tables they keep clean and maintained. The action is on the faster side so you know they take care of their stuff as well as the quality of their balls. ;) They have free pool on Sundays and Mondays if you want to swing by and just shoot some with the locals. It is a pretty good amount of space for what they have. Great for groups if you get there early enough and easy to mingle if not. It does get nice and crowded on the weekends but, that’s a good thing. The price is fair but, it’s really about value with me. If the pours are good, technically, I am getting good value for the price! I have paid double at many Bellevue area establishments with less than 1⁄3 the pour so don’t look at the black and white. Measure the quality :) I love the value at J Michaels. Have fun everyone!

MUSTTRYTHENACHOS! For a guy like me, appetizers really don’t cut it much, but when you put a drink in my hand — all of that changes. The appetizers here contest with the best I’ve ever had, especially for a good-ol’ dive bar like J Michaels. The scene is great, I mean it’s called a dive bar for a reason right?! haha It’s tucked away, not to busy on a Thursday night and I’m guessing during March Madness, this place is going to bumpin’! Alcohol: for those of you who LOVE Mac and Jacks… this bar is MUST. They’ve got it all! Personally not a huge fan of them, but I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the on tap selection they offered. Not to mention the typical dive bar games and such, but pool, lottery, pinball… need I say more?!

Jacked up Ambiance: 3 Food: 4 Drinks: 5 Value: 4 Mac and Jack on Tap! Not just African Amber, the entire selection: Serengeti Wheat, Black Panther Porter, and Two Tun IPA. With the reduction in selection of the African Lounge at the airport, J Michael’s is now the standard bearer of the beloved Redmond brewery. It is the place to which we, loyal Mac and Jack drinkers, rally. The place is pretty much a dive bar — any place with pull tab lottery games automatically gets that distinction. We watched Game 5 of the NBA finals there and the place was rowdy and lively — exactly what you want from a sports bar. There are HDTVs everywhere you turn, a definite plus, and they have an interesting menu. The food selection has a southern flair to it; point and case, they serve fried chicken gizzards. I love sports bars and this place is definitely high on my list.
