Olde Redmond Place Apartments

I moved in when there was different management and loved living here. Like others have noted, in 2015 the complex was purchased and things have been awful ever since! Not only was I unable to open my sliding glass door during the hottest weeks of summer do to construction, but they closed the pool too! Construction has been constant and they have been able to provide no schedule. One day I was literally painted into my apartment without notice and had to yell for assistance so that I could go to work! For the longest time, they wouldn’t even notify residents when they received a package… I guess you should know if somebody sent you a birthday gift? Apartments are nice enough, but certainly not worth the headache.

Do NOT move here. We moved here in 2013 when they had different management and we would have stayed here forever. They got bought out in 2015 and the whole place has gone completely to crap. The management is awful, you never know who you’re going to get, they never know what’s going on, it’s a lot of people in and out. They are replacing the «siding» on the apartments and had everyone move all their storage belongings in the apartment while they fixed it, and not once offering any reduction in rent. They barricaded the balcony doors shut in the hottest months of summer, shut down the pool for no apparent reason in the month on record, and there are nails ALL over the parking lot from the construction. I’m sure they are flipping the place for more money, which would explain the pool being closed down to preserve it. They have an answering service when you call, which has numerously given out wrong information regarding rates, etc. They do not honor it, just say they have an answering service that gives out wrong information, which feels like they’re taking advantage of you. They are not trying to accommodate any of the tenants, and could care less how inconvenient all this is for you. We have had our storage stuff in the apartment for over a month now (supposed to be only 3 weeks) and they haven’t even started working on our balcony. I confronted management and they couldn’t care less. I would steer clear.

We were in this apartment from Nov 2011 to April 2015. We liked the place due to several reasons. The first is its close proximity to MS, Redmond downtown, Redmond town center etc. The second is the nice mountains view we had from our apartment The third is they maintained the property well. And the fourth is, its neighborhood school, which is Ben-​Rush. The rental at the time I moved in was in the range of $ 1100 (excluding utility and garbage), but it increased every year and in the last year I paid around $ 1600.
The management changed recently, and I didn’t have much experience with them except when moving out. The charges at moving out were very reasonable (just around $ 100 for general cleaning).

Don’t move into the B building!!! The bottom floor by the «greenbelt» had excessive moisture and mold issues. I believe the apartments are no longer owned by equity residential, so I hope they will invest a little money into fixing the cracks and damages where I used to live for the sake of the new residents health.

I visited Olde Redmond Place Apartments today and the leasing agent was super nice, informative, and caring. She provided me so much information and made me feel really comfortable about the entire process. The apartment we toured was roomy, cozy, and clean. Although I chose another place due to location to grocery stores, Olde Redmond Place was a favorite of mine due to the nice apts themselves and awesome leasing office staff.

I stayed here for a month in corporate housing so, while I can’t comment on many aspects of living at Olde Redmond Place, I do want to share my experience with the apartments themselves.
The place is your typical suburban Redmond apartment complex: it looks nice enough at first glance, but the entire place is disgustingly bland. It’s poorly built and feels cheap all around. Cheap construction, cheap appliances, cheap materials. My apartment had windows on two sides yet somehow always felt dark and stuffy.
And the noise! My god! Every footfall from above literally shook my apartment. With every flush, it sounded like some great Niagara had suddenly sprung up in my bedroom. We could hear all the conversations outside the entry door and many conversations in neighboring apartments too. And don’t even think of running the dishwasher or laundry while at home.
To cap it all off, a week before I moved out, they installed «water saving» shower heads. As if the old shower heads weren’t already low flow enough. While waiting for the shower to heat up, the new shower heads shuts off once the water reaches some (non-​configurable) temperature. Then you pull this big chain to get the water back to its normal trickle. I’m all for conserving water, but WTF?
I was in corporate housing, so you may want to take my comments with a grain of salt. Maybe Aboda just stuck me in an old, rundown apartment. But I can’t image the experience is much better elsewhere in the complex. The prices are very high for what you get.

Great Apartment Homes. A wonderful garden style setting set on a hill. Very quiet location. The Apartments have had the Kitchens and Bathrooms remodeled. FANTASTIC STAFF! Great Company! Highly Recommended!
