Went here on a slow Monday night. Never been here before, but they had awesome Christmas lights and decided to grab a drink with a friend. When we sat down we noticed they had karaōke and pull tabs, yay! We were greeted by the bartender named Craig. There were people on the other side of the bar, making it hard to see the prices of the pull tabs. We asked which ones were the .25 tabs. Craig responded in a condescending voice, «Uh, the ones that are .25 cents?.. and I’m leaving to take a smoke break.» Making it uncomfortable, we decided not to partake in pull tabs, whatever. When he came back from his smoke break we finished our drinks and asked for our tab. As we started filling out our credit card receipt he abruptly came up to us and said, «I need that receipt you are signing!»(Before I even put my pen down) I replied, «I haven’t even finished signing it yet.» Craig replied, «I know but I still need that receipt.»(Obviously eager for a tip) needless to say we didn’t tip, let alone we will not be back. Other bartenders might be good but I’m not willing to come back in chance of Craig serving us again. He made us feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable.

I dont have enough words to describe how insanely rude the bouncer is at Palmers. If I had a way to give them negative 50 stars for staff attitude, I would. The people inside are a garage sale of humanity, the drinks lack anything special, and the staff… OMG.

Great bar in the heart of Redmond. If your looking for a fun night out with excellent bartenders, good food, and a great atmosphere, then this is the place to go. It quickly turned in the my regular watering hole given half-price burgers on Tuesday and cheap drinks is hard to argue with. Karaōke is a great time and is happening 7 days a week. Big John who runs the show is hilarious. Trivia has recently started on Thursday nights and is definitely worth the trip out. If your looking for a great time where you can come as you are and not get sneered at for passing on ordering the 2007 Dal Forno — Valpolicella; then this is the place for you!

I had a lot of fun here. My friend had her birthday party here and a lot of us were driving from Seattle to join the celebration at Palmers on eastside. First, it’s an interesting place where there are mixed of people from ages of 30 – 60 plus. Second, it’s kind of awkward because you can feel different sets of eyes are you. I am sure Redmond is famous for their cougars. And, yes, I saw a lot that night. In fact, I may be joining them soon! Although, the karaōke night was a lot of fun! The DJ that night was so cool and sings very well himself! He would jump in entertain if there’s no one singing. The bartender on duty was very nice. He recommended cider because I don’t like most of the beers. I ordered a couple starters and went pick up but missed it and he delivered to me. That was very nice! That night, I ended there with a dance in the group. It was a lot of fun!

I don’t drink, and I’m too much of an old fart now to enjoy the night life anymore. My beloved took me here in the daytime for a yummy burger and it did NOT dissapoint! The burger was on point, had tons of fresh veggies on it and perfectly charred. Clam Chowder, delicious and fresh and curly fries were perfect. I would have ordered more food if I hadn’t stuffed myself already, their menu had so much to choose from and affordable too! Lots of groovy 80’s and 90’s jams playing in the background. I felt comfy inside, there seemed to be a lot of locals there. I felt a family-friendly vibe, and for a bar that meant something to me because I had never been a fan of bars, even when I was living in chaotic Hollywood I would shy away from them. But now I’m a Palmer’s fan! Thank you for being so inviting and yummy!

You don’t go to Palmers because it’s the prettiest place in town, you go because it’s your favorite dive bar with karaōke seven nights a week, attentive staff, «better than your average bar» food and drinks that will make any upscale cry with jealousy. Plain and simple, if you want a night out where you can be yourself and look however you want and not give a crap about anything, this is the place. Bring your appetite. Bring your dancing shoes. Bring your VISA card and spend an evening at Palmers. You’ll want to come back… unless you’re a bar snob.

Palmers wins for location and drink prices. Karaōke nights attract a very mixed crowd that can get a bit confusing. The subculture clash on these nights is like a reality TV series with a hilariously poorly performed and equally as eclectic soundtrack. Regardless of the social peppering, everyone gets along just super. There is no dedicated parking but there is plenty of public parking available around the area. It’s about a $ 4 – 8 über ride from basically anywhere in Redmond. Drinks are incredibly affordable and there is usually decent seating available. The bartenders are really friendly and service is pretty quick. If you were to ask for recommendations that involved the words«drinking» and«Redmond», I would point you towards this place.

I wasn’t sure what to think, never been to Palmers before. I’m here and really enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, cheap drinks and entertainment from those singing Karaōke! They have a great DJ and awesome bartenders. Great Saturday night. I’ll be coming here again :)

This is one of my favorite dive bars ever. I’ve played a lot of show and sung a lot of karaōke in some real dicey places and while this is definitely dicey, you can’t beat the prices and the people watching is THEBEST! From aging grunge kids to 20-something frat-boys getting denied by every girl in the bar, the sh*t-show only ends when you leave! $ 6 bucks for a Grey Goose is hilariously affordable to me after being in LA for so long(and having to spend $ 10-$ 12 for the same drink.) the bar food is… Bar food, so it’s exactly what your drunk ass needs at 12:45 and you can’t tell if the person next to you is giving you eyes or is about to pass out! Come, watch the show and try the veal!

So close to Kirkland and so far away. I love it. It’s sticky, dark, loud, cheap and refreshing. I am quitting yoga for karaōke here, even though I have Delta Dawn What’s that Flower you have on stuck in my head. Forever.

After a horrible experience at the Matador up the street, we wandered into this bar. Great dive bar atmosphere with karaōke and pool. Very chill crowd and staff. Did not try the food… just drank copious amounts of beer. The menu looks pretty good so will try to make it back for happy hour or lunch. Good people and good brews. Had a blast at Palmer’s East!

Take me down to Palmers East, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty. Oh won’t you please take me down to Palmers East for some cheap drinks and sweet sweet karaōke?!! This place is DAJAM. And I don’t even say words like that together, but it seems fitting. Lots of jams to be had here. Drinks are super cheap, the bartenders are always friendly even on the crazy packed nights, and it never takes too too long for your song to come up. I need to make it a point to go here more. Definitely.

Palmers is cheap food and cheap drinks. the bartenders remember you and the owner is always happy and willing to meet anyone. My family always loved coming here, the ½ price burger Tuesday is a steal of a deal. a burger and fries for a Lil over 3 to 4 bucks makes me feel like I’m robbing them blind! when my brother passed, all the bartenders pooled their tips and donated a weeks worth of tips to my family, they truly care about their customers more than anything, to them its not about money or being hip, its about making a great place for people to always feel welcome. I went to the Redmond bar and grill, my food was about 17 dollars, my drink was over priced, and for a «bar» they were insanely rude. I went out to smoke and they chased me down asking if I was running out on my tab… never again will I stray from the greatness of Palmers. Try this place out, sit, mingle and eat a great hot fast meal for a more than amazing price! I try to be here once a week, and even though I moved about an hour drive away, I’d rather be here!

Palmers is the best and only dive bar in Redmond. Friday night karaōke is standing room only. Some of the singers are awful, but that’s part of the fun. The bathrooms are small and dirty, the pool table is in an area half the size it should be, and you have to stand in line to get served. I haven’t tried the food, but it was served in small, wax paper lined, red baskets, so it must taste good. Bouncer out front and a sidewalk lined with smokers. It is cheap beer, loud music, and great people watching. If that’s not what you want don’t go here.

This place is a piece of sh*t, don’t have a tab open, bartenders would put random drinks on it. If you drink was 4 dollars and you give them a 5 don’t expect any money back. I hope a new place would take over the place. Literally the worst place ever.

Giggle. I can’t help but chuckle when writing this review. I’ve been to this bar twice, fairly late night. The crowd is… well…it’s varied and there is something for everyone. People come out of the woodwork to hang out here. It is truly a mix of Microsoft interns, local folk, mature folk looking to relive their glory days and the list goes on. That is part of what makes this place fun! If you like karaōke this seems to be the place in Redmond. The drinks are cheap! I bought a round of drinks for our group of 5 and it only cost $ 23! It’s a fun place to land on a Friday or Saturday if you aren’t quite ready to hang your hat after dinner out in Redmond.

Great dive bar with plenty of friendly staff and patrons! Karaōke 7 nights a week and dancing if theres enough people on the floor. I will add one thing and that is I know the DJ and he is nothing like a certain reviewer would have you believe. I was there that night sitting at the bar and you can choose to beleive reviews from Brian R. who has an obvious problem with his drinking since he initiated the problem with the DJ, then got cut off! Since he reviewed a lawyer for a past DUI. He should do a review of his attitude and then ones for AA and Anger Management classes while he is at it. Seriously just come in and find out for yourself. All the staff and the DJ are always there to help you have a good time. Just do not bring a bad attitude with you. Fridays and Saturdays can be super busy and very loud! If you want to sing more than once, I highly suggest you get there at 9pm. If you want to sing a lot. Come in on the other nights. The kitchen stays open later on Fridays and Saturdays. Otherwise closes at 10pm. Seating is limited to and can be a problem if you are coming in with a group. In this case, I know they take reservations for groups.
