A safe stop for fast food. Pretzel dogs and the Chicago dog are good. Now offering a 64 ounce tea bladder with optional flavors.

Just came from Oregon this past weekend and stopped off at this Sonic. The food was good enough, nothing special, but the price tag was crazy. Two chicken sandwich meals two kids corn dog meals, one medium ice cream blast and some cheese cake squares and it came to something like $ 32. WOW, I could have gone to Chili’s for that much. But the real kicker was, they dont even have garbage cans outside as you drive out. Mind you its a drive in where most people eat in their cars! Sorry Sonic, not impressed.

Food was great! We love sonic. Service was absolutely terrible. Make sure to ask for light ice otherwise you get a cup full of ice and a bit of soda. Was told we only fill up soda halfway on any size. What if we asked for no ice? Not fair considering we spent nearly $ 150 bucks. Otherwise Chelsea was super nice & I guess in a way tried to help. Would be nice if you added the note when we ordered or at least let us know! Reason: «We were trained like this» Thumbs down

Okay, I know, it’s fast food, but I love Sonic. I like that they can make a strawberry limeade with diet sprite. I love their tater tots and I love they they have spicy things on the menu. They’re frozen creations are also yummy.

This was a seriously handy place when we were staying at the Sleep Inn across the street. We hit the drive through at about 10pm on a Friday night. We had just come from a get together where there was much food but after that we wanted a snack and the ever popular lime aid so we stopped and got it to go back to the room. Very handy. Glad to see Redmond has a new drive in of sorts. I’ll be back again.

In Bend there is no In n’ Out Burger or Whattburger(for you Texans out there). The closest thing we have is Sonic and while not as good as the two previously mentioned, it is still a pretty solid burger. I find McDonalds and Burger King to both be bland and nothing more than sustenance. Wendy’s is okay, but still not great to me. Sonic is a step up in the burger world if that is what you have a hankering for. They also have a fine selection of icy drinks(Ocean Water… mmmmm). If you are craving a decent burger skip Pilot Butte Drive-in and head to Sonic. Normally I am not a huge fan of chains but I will make an exception for Sonic. Well worth the stop.

Well, now I can say I’ve tried Sonic, after seeing commercial after commercial with none around my city. And so here is my harsh review: Meh. Nothing special, as far as taste. Just another burger. Fries were too salty. Oreo Sonic Blast was ok, had the same elsewhere. Have yet to try all their other types of smothies, blends, slushes, shakes, malts, and sundaes though. I do like the whole drive-in aspect, though– and that the waitresses are on roller skates. Not too spendy, but not cheap either, though they do have a small $ 1 menu. Now I’ve tried it, but nothing to scream about.
