Not sure what all the negative reviews about. I come here often, even if it’s just to look around, and the employees are always very helpful and kind. I always try my stuff on before I purchase it, which could be a hassle since the employees have to unlock the dressing rooms for you, but the girls are always willing to help with a big smile. Even if I’m only buying few items, the employees are always nice and helpful. Clothes are good deals when they are one sale too!

What was I doing there in the first pace? Well, I was exchanging a birthday gift for a larger size. Generally, you expect to be greeted by staff. If you’ve ever worked in retail, it’s drilled into your brain that it’s the best form of letting your customer know that you’re welcome into the establishment. More importantly, it reminds those that have a penchant for nefarious activities to pay for their merchandise. I had to track down a sales associate to exchange my hoodie. He first told me that they didn’t carry it. He then asked a manager to assist us. She too didn’t recognize their product. She asked me where I got it. She looked really puzzled and I felt like she was challenging my voracity. I told her it was a gift I showed her the gift receipt and she was amazed that they carried it in her store. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as maybe being a new employee or whatever. She searched the store and found a rounder filled with them. I brought the larger hoodie to the cashier. She was the only staff person at Abercrombie that seemed to have their act together. She was charming, professional, pleasant.

it’s dark, narrow isles, messy racks, the cologne didn’t smell right, not much help

I hate their customer service, the blonde girl is such a bitch, like I went to go grab an extra item to purchase and she gives me an attitude looking like I’m returning something uh no, and then when I ask for the stuff I bought in separate bags, she’s like I can’t do that. Like I’ve never heard that happen. They need to hire DIFFERENT people who are nicer. They also need to hire people who’ll attend faster to you

One of my gfs absolutely loves their clothes! She would wait for the Black Friday all year and clean out the whole store literally! I called her– devotee of the Fab(my short for Fitch and Abercrombie), heehee. She got this fab cardigan from this store some nights ago when they had this fashion night thing for the whole galleria, well I didn’t get to go bc I was expected to be somewhere else that night. I like the style of their clothes even though the price is kind of high but when they are on sale, it’s not too bad. One thing that bothered me about this store is their super super LOUD music, making it impossible to have any conversation with anybody let alone asking for help. It was that loud last time we were there a few months ago. Were they trying to repel ppl from shopping? not so smart! Maybe they only want to cater to the teenagers, but most of patrons there today weren’t teenagers, so whomever was making the marketing strategy needs to come down to the store. I was really reluctant to step in today, but my gf convinced me that there maybe some good deals in there. She was right, I found some nice cardigans and tank tops on sale. Since the fitting room was hard to get and we want to be able to hear things when we get to be 80s, lol, I ended up buying the clothes without trying most of them. Well if they don’t fit, I’ll just have to bring them back or leaving them piled up in my closet. Either way, if they don’t turn down a notch with their ear-shattering music, I may just have to shop this way, it’s more work for me but it’s even more work for them(I think). Talking about choice of music and decibel level, I think H& M has the best gig today. Too bad they didn’t have the stuff I was looking for, cause I’d love to shop while listening to One Direction’s «What Makes You Beautiful». Gosh, that song is so catchy!

Anyone who knows me will tell you that Abercrombie and A&F are staple stores for me. I used to come here literally twice a week during the summer to shop away my paycheck. Since school has started, i haven’t had time to frequent as often as i’d like. I know all their clothes are pretty much the same just in a tad different design but i can’t help but buy their stuff! I have almost every cardigan they’ve made and most of their camis. I mostly buy just cardigans and camis and the occasional jeggings. Try not to buy their stuff as soon as it comes in because it’ll probably be on sale two weeks later for 30% off. When they are between seasons, its kind of pointless to go because they have no new merchandise and its the same stuff over and over. Because I’m on the small side, I usually just go to Abercrombie to buy the same thing there because it is cheaper. Why buy a $ 60 at A&F when you can go upstairs and get the same cardigan for $ 40? The smell is horrible yes, but it’s part of their image so I don’t factor that into my experience. Besides, you go home and wash it and thats that. The workers are usually really gorgeous and look like typical Abercrombie workers. They are nice and attentive most of the time but i personally don’t let workers or anyone get in my way of shopping at A&F or Abercrombie!

I came into the store hopping to see a model up close during the Christmas shopping period. There wasn’t any hot guy stand there. I’m sad. But I have always wanted to shop at A&F. I have sen some of their clothes on people and I turn envious… So now people can be envious of me! I saw a jacket I liked and tried it on. It didn’t fit me at all! It felt like at least 2 sizes too small. I checked the tag to make sure I was wearing XL. My eyes bulged. I thought I was gaining weight! For a moment I freaked out in silent, until I came to a realization that this may be just a few of the clothes that are made to fit skinny people. I browsed the store more, and tried on a few more jackets and shirts. I felt like I was the only fat person in the store because most people I saw were thin or average. Soon thereafter, I left the shop with my self-esteem badly deflated. Of course my sister tried to make me feel better by assuring me that stores like A&F probably follow European standard, which means XL in America is equal to XXXXXXXXL in Europe. I wanted to believe her but I couldn’t. It wasn’t until I finally tried on something in Anchor Blue that made me to believe my baby sister. I felt so relieved. Also the price in the store is riduclously high. A typical buttoned shirt with plaids on it costs $ 50! and a jacket I liked so much, which is 2 million sizes too small, costs $ 270!!! When I win the lotto I will…

Ah, the Abercrombie in my old neighborhood. This is the one where I worked in the summer home from college. Good times.
