This place has that diner and café feel to it, this was my first time there so I’ll have to so that it met the standards required by law; it was clean and acceptable. The portions were very good, they exceeded my expectations. Customer service was good, I’ll definitely come back here because they made a good first impression.

This place is… interesting. Surprisingly good, but I have only had two of the menu items. After today’s portobella and mozzarella sandwich though, I have to say, it was really, really delicious. Dripping with juices, crunchy ciabatta pressed panini-style, nicely seasoned mushroom/onion filling. Had the supreme veggie first time here, and it too was memorable. Their mac salad beats their potato, but today the mac was a little too sweet. They got it right the first time I had it, and for that I will keep ordering. The style of the… space is ill-defined. Is it a deli? A diner? It has the busy and overcrowded design of a liquor store, but it doesn’t sell anything beside it’s food. I don’t quite get it. But I will probably go back for another sandwich someday. PS– they were playing Syfy in the«restaurant» today and Aladdin and the Death Lamp was on. I was so enthralled I watched the end of the movie when I got home. No shame.

HORRIBLE! I had an order that was for delivery. The owner did not mention to me over the phone that the menu online was«10 years old and prices change!» The food was delivered: 2 sandwiches and 1 drink with a 23 dollar bill! I called back just to see if there was a mistake(the driver did not know what the prices of the food were). I asked to know the prices of the sandwiches I ordered and was told«I don’t need this! Send the food back if you don’t want it!» I have never been treated like that by someone I was willing to do business with. Honestly, I probably would have just paid the money and ate the food if he had been nice. He then says that he has a long line of people and talking to me about the bill is a courtesy that he is extending to me. I told him that I would be sending the food back and writing a negative comment on Unilocal.I keep my word.

SOMEBODYPLEASECALLTHEHEALTHDEPARTMENTONTHISBUSINESS! If Not, I think I will have to do the dirty work!!! I didn’t even want to give 1 star but its automatic. I came here for my lunch and had an amazing waitress named Bri i think. But I ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was clearly old. You know its bad pastrami when you can smell it coming off the sandwich. It tasted like they tried to wash off the mold or something. Like rinsed or something My girlfriend ordered a ham sandwich with cheese and i promise you that the cheese had MOLD on it. It was hard on the edges and very dried out . && to top it ALLOFF we also got a potato salad and guess what was in it? 2 strands of short hair. I told my server Bri about the whole order and she was very kind about everything and apologized but when she went to the owner she even got yelled at and he still made us pay but gave us 10% percent. Whooopty Doo !!! Never returning here again.

This place is disgusting. I ordered breakfast my food was cold. The tamale taste spoiled. The hash brown was frozen. The food had absolutely no taste. I should have read the reviews before I placed my order. Also the deliver is free but they add a service fee almost $ 4.00. I will not be returning.

ZERO stars if I could. I have never posted a review(ever!) and felt the need to share my horrible experience. Mediocre food, schizophrenic menu. No stars for slow service and lack of any customer service. It took 45 minutes for my take out order of 4 sandwiches — 2 tuna, 1 ham and cheese, 1 pastrami(how hard is that??). When I inquired about my order after 30 minutes there was no apology from the older gentleman at the register and I was spoken to as if I was impatient. I deeply regret not reading prior Unilocal reviews before walking in their door. Also regret walking across the parking lot to get cash from an ATM, when another Unilocaler said the credit card machine does indeed work! Will never go back.

Friendly service for a Mom & Pop shop. I got the grilled swiss and ham sandwich, and it was really good! Will definitely come back, and maybe get a Rita’s ice when I’m done =).

This show should be on Kitchen Nightmares! There are just so many things to say about this place. Food My $ 10 corned beef hash came from a can — a friggin can! The pancakes were not made very well — something wrong with the batter. My fruit cup was sprinkled in… I think… Splenda? Weird. Restaurant The place is a mess. It looks like the overflow of a hoarder’s home. The more you look around, the more clutter you see. Old boxes, years-old easter decorations, knick knacks covered in dirt and dust. Assortment The place is WAY over assorted. They serve baby back ribs, Tofu ginger salad, cordon bleu, lasagna, ham, breakfast all day, sandwiches, etc etc. If you serve than many things then you can’t do anything well. How often do you thin someone orders the lasagna? I’ll bet there’s a flat of lasagna in their freezer that’s 4 years old just waiting for the microwave.

This place is just great…(NOT!!!) First of all, I ordered this about two weeks ago, my order got cancelled(no one even called me to say why) so I try ordering again today. The order was about to get cancelled(PERTHEMANAGER’S CALL to Grubhub) unless I paid an Additional tip amount, on top of the $ 4.00 delivery charge!!! When I received the food, I checked it and was missing an item! If I am paying that much just to get the food delivered it would at least be good to get what I had ordered. ALSOTHEFOODWASCOLDBYTHETIME I RECEIVEDIT! So disappointed in this place!

I am so disappointed in myself for not reading up on Unilocal before grabbing some food here. Stay far away, people like this owner, who run businesses like this, don’t deserve your money. I went to grab a quick bite to eat and while I was making my order, I noticed a sign on the cash register that said«No cards allowed, only cash or check.» I didn’t have any cash or checks(who uses checks?) on me, so I apologetically said«Oh I’m sorry I just saw your sign and only have cards so I’m going to have to go elsewhere.» The owner responded by saying, «don’t worry, there is an ATM right across the street.» To which I responded, «yes, but its not from my bank and while I would love to eat here, I don’t want to pay an extra $ 3.50 when I could just grab something next door with my card.» He looked at me, snagged the card out of my hand, and said, «Fine, I“ll figure it out.» I was surprised by his response, but went to sit at the table outside as I ordered my food to eat there. Not too long after the waitress comes out with my food all packed up to go and says«I’m really sorry but the owner packed everything up so you could eat elsewhere. And By the way, his credit card machine actually does work he just doesn’t like to use it.» What? are you serious? He didn’t want me to eat there because I gave him a *debit* card. I signed my slip that was produced from his credit card machine that worked perfectly, and got out of there because I was appalled. Once I got home I took a few bites of my sandwich while looking them up on Unilocal, and stopped eating immediately. Read through these reviews. Endless amount of hair found in the food. Produce is kept outside next to the dumpsters. All kinds of unsanitary practices being used. I didn’t see any unusual creatures in my food, but I didn’t take the time to explore it further because it very quickly went into the trash. I’d like to call the state to do a health/safety inspection on this place because if what everyone is saying is true, there is no way they should be serving food. If negative stars were possible, that would be how many they’d get from me.

Ate here for the first time today– you guessed, a ham sandwich– very delicious and quite reasonable. The ham was every bit as good as Honeybaked, and I really liked the honey mustard on the sandwich. Even the potato salad was good. And the service was very friendly. Would go back.

I used to love ham supreme. During high school(2004 – 2006) I would eat there monthly. As I got older, my experiences at this place began to decline. I would always order the BLT on sourdough, toasted with a side of chips and soda. Then I got older and realized I was wasting time and money. Strike one: The prices. Incredibly ridiculous. A sandwich, small bag of chips and soda for two is easily $ 30 bucks. For a subpar dinette area thrown together with semi washed dishes. Strike two: The owners screaming(not yelling) screaming, at their employees. For dumb reasons. Very unsettling. Happened multiple times, and gave me an upset stomach. Not worth it to pay money to listen to that. Strike three: Rag pieces in my bacon. Not kidding. Blue pieces of rag, cooked onto my bacon club sandwich. When I asked the«wife/owner» she told me that was how the bacon comes. Does she think I’m stupid because I look young? After I paid a billion dollars to eat a sandwich and she tells me the bacon comes with rag pieces? A new sandwich would have been good. I’m sure I could go or you could try it and have a decent sandwich, but it is not worth the money, poor service, or chance of eating ragged bacon. I suggest you try a different sandwich place. There are a lot of much higher quality locations.

I walked in one afternoon(on a holiday) to pick up my honey ham and was greeted by at least 4 of the people standing behind the counter. «Hi there!» They all bellowed. For a second I thought it was some kind of setup but then realized these are just some very happy people doing happy work. They were all smiles and it was contagious! I gave them my details and they got my slab of ham prepped and ready to go in no time. They offered compliments like rolls or side dishes as well. Their pricing is fair; our small rump of ham, which is more than enough for 10 people, set me back about $ 50. I pick up their honey ham every other year or so and it’s always fresh and delicious. That brown sugar rub is too good to pass up! They’ve got an extensive menu of sandwiches and dishes you can order if you plan to dine there. The place is low key and nestled in the plaza but once you get there, you can’t miss it. Kudos to these folks for being great at what they do. Thanks for everything!

Awesome whole in the wall! The food is amazing and they will make you anything. Whether its on their menu or not! The staff are all really nice and the owner Sergio will come out and personally greet guests to make sure that they are enjoying their meal. The atmosphere in many places like this can be different because you never know who your getting working that day, But this place is always the same and they all seem to love being together.

Eventually it will make for a funny story, I’m sure. For now… It’s not funny at all. I never liked this place but Neil wanted to sit outside so I acquiesced. As we were waiting for our food on the restaurant’s patio, the umbrella — on the glass table behind me – must have fallen off and the entire table exploded into a thousand pieces of glass shrapnel, many of which landed on my back and in my hair. The owners and the servers rushed outside but not to check whether I and Neil were OK. They ran around the broken table, bemoaning its fate. No one apologized or even said anything to us. Neil wanted to leave but we ordered already and I was hungry and suggested we go inside. Should have listened to Neil… The food was mediocre at best. The green salsa on my Chilaquiles was too salty and too sour. Our waitress was just as sour and just as salty. The home fries that I asked for well-done, were deep-fried! Speaking of sour: my coffee tasted a little weird. At first, I thought it was just bad quality coffee but then I saw big white floaters in it. I tasted the milk with a spoon — it was the most vile, disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. The milk was spoiled and for a long time. Since the two waitresses paid us Zero attention, even though the place was empty, I took the milk to the counter and showed it to the owner — she said that she didn’t believe me and she would have to taste the milk herself first. Guess she believed me after she tasted it – we were brought new milk for our coffee, though by that time I just wanted to leave. You would think that after the glass table exploding practically on my back, after we were served terrible spoiled milk… You would think that they would comp our meal, wouldn’t you? Well, you would be so wrong, my friend! When the waitress reappeared to give us our bill, she announced that we were comped ONECUPOFCOFFEE! Not to mix metaphors here but, based on this, I would rename Ham Supreme Chutzpah Supreme.

I didn’t read the reviews before coming here but they seem to be all over the place. Personally, I had a really good experience when I had breakfast here for the first time over the weekend. Didn’t have a Groupon, didn’t order anything to-go, sat outside and didn’t interact with anyone working there over the age of 30… so maybe this is why my experience was better? Service was friendly and the girls working there all seemed very helpful. This place even offers delivery(although I think they charge you a fee). Good thing it’s just right around the corner so I can simply go pick it up myself. I had the Brazilian ‘omelette’ and was very pleased. I wouldn’t officially call it an omelette though since all of the stuff was on top of the egg rather than inside. The flavors blended well even though at first it sounds a little weird. The pineapple chunks were a little big(since they were from a can, I’m sure) but I thought the sweetness paired well with the cream cheese and avocado while the hollandaise and bacon were also nice, fatty touches. The hollandaise was quite good but it looked like it was on the verge of breaking. Still had nice flavor and a smooth consistency though. The egg was also nicely cooked but again, not as fluffy as a typical omelette should be. The little square of hashbrowns and side of fruit were nice sides but I think the toast was my favorite. Both the rye and sourdough were very good and they make their own random flavored jam to spread on top. The girl told us they just use whatever fruits they happen to have. Definitely worth a try, if you dare! Maybe you shouldn’t listen to me though since after all, I’ve been told by a ‘professional Food Critic’ that I have the palate of an 8 year old goat. Whatever that means. More tin cans please!

I come here once a week because of the distance(2 min walk from my place), good price, and delicious food. It’s inside of a shopping center, sandwiched between Rite Aid and Whole Foods. The hot sandwiches are great — the meatball, reuben, torpedo, pulled pork, roast beef. They sure do hit the spot. Breakfast is good too, although the portions can be smaller than what I am use to(compared to Eat at Joe’s across the street). The owner, Sergio, is a very friendly Spaniard who remembers his customers. If you meet him, introduce yourself and chat with him. The only reason for the –1 star is the service can be hit or miss. When Sergio is there, things are usually efficient and his voice brightens up the shop. When he’s not there, the workers usually don’t smile, the food takes a while to come out, and mistakes are made.

I just had the worst experience here that I have ever had in any restaurant in my life. I left the place almost in tears. I write very few one-star reviews, even very few two-star reviews(check the graph on my profile) and I am generally easy to please when it comes to food and service. I always give the benefit of the doubt. But to be treated as I was treated at this café today is unacceptable, and I find myself thankful for Unilocal… because if not for Unilocal I would have no voice. So here’s the story: My car was being worked on across the street at Firestone(a place I highly recommend, btw, they rock!). I was starving, and remembered some good Unilocal reviews of Ham Supreme. I wanted breakfast, so thought I’d give the place a try. It’s very cute inside, homey and cozy, loaded with quaint knick-knacks. I snagged a table right under the big TV, near the front window, happy to listen to commentary on the President’s great speech I had just watched on the Firestone TV. I had ordered at the counter: the combo dish that included corned beef hash, fried eggs, and biscuits. Sadly, they were out of biscuits, and I was offered toast. I asked if there was any alternative to toast, if they had stuff like English muffins, and was told yes… that falls into the category of toast. OK, we’re making progress. I like my eggs with the white cooked and the yolk runny, which is usually somewhere between over easy & over medium. The girl who was taking my order insisted on writing«over medium» despite me suggesting to her it might be better to specify«over easy with the whites cooked». Sure enough, when my food was brought to my table… the eggs were over hard. Yoik completely cooked. I took it back to the counter. The girl(Ruth, niece of the owner, so she told me) asked me what did I want her to do… take the eggs off the plate and have some re-cooked? Um…yeah, please. And I also questioned the«hash» as long as I was there.(Had the eggs been OK, I would not have said anything about the hash that wasn’t hash, I just would have eaten it.). It wasn’t hash, even though on the menu it said clearly: corned beef hash. Ruth told me the«hash» was their breakfast potatoes with some corned beef along side. I said, but that’s not hash. She repeated herself. I said again, but that’s not hash, maybe I should get something else as long as we’re re-doing the eggs. At that point a man came out of the kitchen and told Ruth to give me my money back. I said… what? My mouth dropped open. He said… give her her money back, she’s not satisfied with the food. And then he accused me of yelling, to which I responded that I was not yelling at anyone. I have a loud voice, as is obvious(as a result of being raised by a parent who refused to wear her hearing aid… true, haha!). The man argued with me that I had been yelling, as Ruth handed me my money. It was actually he who was raising an angry voice at me, at this point. My breakfast had already disappeared back into the kitchen. I asked the man(who happens to be the manager, Eugene, I was later told) if he was throwing me out. He repeated that I wasn’t satisfied with the food. He repeated this a few times. I had no choice but to leave. This experience was upsetting and a bit shocking. And anyone who says I was«yelling» is a liar. I walked back to Firestone in dazed disbelief. When I owned a business, had I treated my customers like that when they asked simple questions… I would have been out of business very quickly methinks. They screwed up the fried eggs because somebody wasn’t listening. I got no apology for that. Then I was served hash that wasn’t hash. Had I known, I would have ordered something different. No biggie. You don’t make mistakes like that and then shove the customer’s money back in her hand and accuse her of yelling when she wasn’t. Too bad I have to award even one star where no stars at all are deserved. Shame on these people. And I still have had no breakfast. Now I am too upset to eat.
