The bad reviews make me laugh. IT’S A CAFE AT THE END OF THE BEACH PEOPLE! NOT A 4 STAR RESTAURANT. The kid that got the 4 orders of fries for free and thought it was a «Courtesy». Yeah, OK Guy. Look, if you are looking for a quick bite this place is solid. The pizza is off the hook cheezy and good. The salads are good. The wraps are good. Drop some coin in their hands and get a snack and be on your way. Is it a lil pricey? Uhhhhh yeah! It’s on the damn beach man. Of course your gonna pay more. Supply and Demand. Look it up. You want great customer service? When you are buying an order of fries? LMAO! C’mon people.

It is so rare to find a place to eat ON the beach in this area. And this one is really good, in that the food actually tastes surprisingly good! Yes it’s a bit expensive, but come on, it’s on the beach, in the sand. They even have a kids menu, which is amazing.
All in all a great hidden gem in the South Bay!

Very rude, awful overpriced food, horrible attitude, lies about not having a restroom and i begged for a cup of water, with no other water around and no money to buy a cup, and they still deny me over a quarter. Theyre heartless and ill make sure know one i know gives them business. Pathetic. Bring back Surfside grill.

I’ve been a local here at this beach since j was born 29 years ago through Jr. Lifeguards to surfing every summer I’ve been here finally it is being ran the best I have ever seen it a very polite gentleman is always in there with a smile on his face ready to serve you and very patient the food is better than ever I love it I come here just to eat and sit and go home I highly recommend this place!!! Good job guys

This place is an absolute shame. I went there and ordered a combo to share with my friend. They called out an order that we thought was ours. My friend gave them the receipt and they gave us 5 orders of fries. We thought it was courtesy. Afterwards we went back up to get our burgers. All of a sudden the owner came and snatched all the fries right out of our table and started to yell at us. This rude person called me rude and said that we are thieves. I would never go somewhere to steal and certainly I don’t expect to go to a burger joint to be called a thief and rude by the owner. Keep in mind I am a minor. How dare this owner? Calling kids thieves and telling them they are rude for making an honest mistake. Now he is threatening to take this to the police department. So I trashed the food I payed for and left. It’s overpriced anyways and they burn their burgers. DONT EAT HERE. If you decide to eat here, make sure you don’t make any mistakes because the owner will yell at you. Especially if you are a minor :(

This could be the neatest trend to go to the actual beach and have great fish tacos, chips and salsa. And a Petes Coffee to top it off. Torrance Beach now has a great hangout at: the Best and most scenic «Riviera» in the world. The City of Torrance Hollywood Riviera section. Go for sunset. Hope there open.

Did not think much of this place but after got our food I was surprised how good our sandwiches were.
If you don’t know what to order I suggest the Chicken Milanese it’s out of this world.
The wait time can be a little long but totally worth it since everything is prepared fresh as you order.

This was the worst experience I have had buying lunch for my children. It was so bad it prompted me to join Unilocal and write a review.
Unfortunately, on June 20^th I decided to buy lunch down at the newly opened Perry’s instead of packing one as I normally do. The kids were excited to try the new establishment. Thank goodness I brought my debit card, because I defiantly did not have enough cash on hand!
We ordered our lunch from a high school aged girl, who could of cared less about her job. She was the only one behind the counter, taking orders, making milkshakes, calling numbers when the food was ready, to say she was overwhelmed was an understated. Mistake #1, they were understaffed.
I ordered a hot dog, chicken tenders, a side of fries, and 3 small fountain drinks. Mind you the hot dog and chicken tenders are a la carte, no fries included. The «enthusiastic» cashier informed me my total was $ 28.07. What?! I even asked her to repeat the total. Yep…$ 28.07. Mistake #2, way overpriced.
Then we waited… and waited… and waited. 20 minutes! I finally walked up to the pick-​up window and noticed our food sitting on the kitchen pick-​up counter. Mistake #3, long wait.
I finally get the good and drinks. The hot dog is raw, the fries are cold, and my daughter’s drink has no top and spills all over the place.
I literally wanted to scream! I was charged almost $ 30.00 for nothing, it took 20 minutes, the food was raw, the fries were cold, and one drink had no top.
I am all about supporting local businesses, but we will NEVER return to this establishment. What a disappointment.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Will definitely come back to this place during summer weekends. The menu is a good balance between different types of food. I am looking forward to trying the tacos next, I’ve heard they are to die for.
