I had no idea how close this place was to me. I must say, the buffalo burger was great, and so is the breakfast. The portions are a great size as well. I look forward to checking out the other omelet and burrito dishes they offer. I will definitely be ordering again.

I’m hooked on this place. Had a huge machaca burrito with hash browns and my wife had the pancakes short stack, very reasonable price and amazing flavor. Service was quick and accurate. Btw the hot chocolate is also good. Will definitely come back.

Only people in the restaurant on a Monday night and an order of cheese and chips took 15 minutes. Waitress brought them out finally and the cheese wasn’t even melted! Left didn’t order dinner(which we came to do). Very disappointed.

Seems like your typical neighborhood greasy spoon kind of place. I like that they have breakfast all day, their menu was full of diner style fare for a reasonable price. I got the huevos rancheros and it was nothing spectacular. My friend got a beef soup and i lost my appetite seeing the huge chunks of fat that he was pulling out of his meal, not very pretty to look at. He said it tasted just okay and could use salt as it was very bland. That being said I will probably still return simply for the convenience.

I’ve eaten here a few times and usually have usually eaten either omelettes or burritos. We have also been drawn in by the burger meal combo! It was like 3 burger meals for $ 10 I think?! These were really decent size burgers and a huge plate of fries so sometimes — in a pinch — this is exactly what I need ready for me to bring it home to the kids. They have a few great combos and the next time I hope to try their tacos! This time my son and I went for dinner and he immediately went for the MEAT! Steak! The steak was thin, though a little bit on the tougher side. I chose the shrimp fajitas in an effort to choose something on the healthier side. Wow, was it a delicious meal as well. I love any fajitas, but shrimp are my new favorite. The staff is always very friendly, there are tons of tables to sit at if you want to eat there. Or take-out is available withing a very reasonable time. I used to be skeptical of places that would have, in a sense, two separate menus. Snax has proven it’s possible to excel with authentic, delicious dishes in more than one flavor!

This is one of my favorite burger places, and it’s super cheap! The burgers are authentic and the perfect cheat day meal :)

Dang! I am sold. I just gulped down a giant breakfast burrito with a side of hash browns after a hike that made me crave a breakfast burrito. I had no expectations when I walked in, but I am blown away with the breakfast burrito. Perfect balance of beans, cheese, meat and eggs. Side of hash browns, also very good. The hash browns aren’t your typical thin strips of potatoes. Those strands of potatoes are thick. I can tell they definitely make it here. They have a full Mexican menu alongside the burgers/sandwiches/salads etc, which I would love to try one day, to see if we can replace our trips to Taco Sinaloa. I am definitely coming back and trying their Menudo! I think this could definitely be a solid breakfast place for us. Or lunch, Or dinner. They have beer and wine here FYI. My hubby, who said he did not want one, took a few bites out of my burrito. As I am writing this review, he is heading back out to Snax. Thank god we live close by.

I stumbled into Snax the morning after a heavy night of drinking and found exactly what I was looking for; hangover breakfast comfort food. I ordered the basic bacon and eggs combo and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. The coffee was pretty good and the service was excellent. It also has a pretty wide selection of Mexican style breakfast, which I’ll be trying in the future.

The best time to go is for the Mexican dinners on the weekends. The pork chop we ordered for breakfast was thin and covered in fat? Why? For 10 bucks a decent cut of meat would be logical. Decent salsa

The service is always so polite and friendly. I would hire them at my company any day! Menu is loaded with options from diner food, breakfast, Mexican food, and healthier choices as well. I love their French toast! One time I got homemade flan and it was soooo good! Not sure if it’s always homemade. Glad this place is local. I used to go to the Torrance location with my family when I was younger. We would play arcade games and get stickers from the quarter machines: D

Extremely courteous and accommodating cashier/server! Generous portions and quick, too. Refreshing to see in Southern California! An odd set-up. A cross between a convenience store and a quick serve restaurant. Looks like an order at the counter and sit down place, but was told for service, just sit at a table. Although it’s pretty small, they had two televisions on with sports. I checked in on Unilocal and got a free beverage!

Great family run breakfast and burger place. Love the family aspect. Actual smiling people who care and want to help you! I think it was jose who helped us, fantastic person!!! That’s reason enough to go. OK, the food is so good. Reason number 2. And there is free parking. You can’t be serious, you need more? How bout chips and a very decent salsa for free and a free soda with your check in? Ha, got you on the soda right? Great spot!!!

Nice place. I can’t speak to the lunch or dinner menu, but I’ve had breakfast from here more than a few times, and am always satisfied(GREAT hangover curing combos). The staff is also incredibly nice and helpful. Definitely has the vibe of a small town restaurant, which I dig.

I wish I’d know about this place several months back when my husband was craving an ostrich burger. This little hole in the wall is the last place on earth I’d ever envision serving buffalo(bison) burgers much less ostrich. We were in the Redondo Beach are running errands when the hubby got a craving for pork chops. He wanted Norms but when we got there it was busier than a one legged man in a kicking contest. Being that we passed Snax on our way we decided to double back and give them a try. It was during a weekday and fairly early while we were there and it was fairly empty. We choose our seats and the waitress promptly provided us with menus and drinks. A few minutes later she came out with chips and salsa, at first I thought it was a bit early for chips and salsa but after tasting it I ended up asking for more. It was fresh and just the right amount of spicy. The chips would have been great with the salsa if they were homemade, but I guess the store bough one sufficed. Much to my husband surprise they also had pork chops so it was an easy choice for him. I on the other hand perused the menu and low and behold I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got to the hamburger section and saw not only your regular beef, turkey and even garden burgers; but they also offered bison and ostrich burgers! This little hole in the wall really surprised me. So, ostrich burger it was. Once everything was said and done I got a taste of my husbands pork chops and they were very tasty though I we would have preferred if they were crispier/browned on the outside. My ostrich burger was OK, it was a bit over cooked and just a bit gamy. Luckily I was able to cover up the gaminess with the salsa. Overall not a bad place at all. I wouldn’t go out of my was to visit but should the craving for a different kind of burger ever arose I definitely come to Snax. NOTE: 1. The parking is in the rear, I don’t think you can park on the street the front, but then again I didn’t really pay much attention. 2. If you check in on Unilocal they have a «free drink» deal. 3. If you’re a big breakfast fan they have great $ 3.95 specials M-F.

I remember a few years ago this used to be one of the best Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken places. I think it fell victim to the location, not that it’s a bad area, but maybe because of competition and the demographics of what people like. With SNAX here now, it’s a solid sit down or take out place that’s no frills, but I’ve rarely seen it crowded, and that’s unfortunate. It’s a good place for quick bang for your buck bites. I notice they’re trying to get customers in, as they often advertise in the neighborhood circulars, those discount coupon guide books and free standing insert coupon packets that come around in the junk mail weekly. They have a sign out front with specials as well as their menu has specials. It’s pretty clear they’re putting forth the effort to get people to try them at low economic risk, with bargain bites. I had their breakfast plate, it’s usually $ 5.95, but on the weekday’s it’s $ 3.95 and comes with 2 eggs(I had it scrambled), choice of potatoes(I had the home styled), choice of sausage or bacon(I of course opted for the bacon), and choice of either bread toast or tortillas(I had white bread toast, buttered). Overall it’s a good deal, similar to what Louis Burger up the street offers in pricing and portions, so it’s a near coin flip on where you decide you go, or what side of the street you’re on. I think Rod’s Charbroiler may be similar too… again, it’s the competition and robust choices that is great for consumers but bad for business owners to have to continually earn the business through bigger portions and smaller prices. I’d recommend this place. If you love in the neighborhood and are a walking distance type resident, get that coupon, try ‘em out and support the local merchants. I’d hate to see this place go away and turn into another smoking«head» shop, MMA studio or foot massage parlor. We need more places like this in the community for balance.
