Aris Carcamo, OD

I’ve been going to Dr. Carcamo for years. Great Doctor. His appointments start on time, he’s efficient and thorough during exams, and as a bonus he’s a good guy! I took my mom there last year and she needed all kinds of tests done, she is elderly and in a wheelchair and he was so sweet to her, patient, and gentle. His staff is also really friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend Dr. Carcamo.

Great Experience with Dr. Carcamo, we needed an earlier appointment than he normally schedules and he was most acommidating of our needs. The entire experience was very positive with the large selection of frames offer in his inventory. I would recommend this Dr. to others in the Redwood City area.

Typically, the whole eye checkup and glasses/​contacts process only takes me two trips, one for the exam and picking out glasses and another trip to pick up the glasses and/​or contacts. Here, I went to the store numerous of times because my glasses weren’t correct in both the lens and the frame adjustments. In my experience, the prescription is checked before handling the glasses off to the customer and a great deal of time is spent in adjusting the glasses for a proper fit for that individual. Both of these seemed to have been skipped here; after wearing the new pair for the first time, I was extremely sick due to having the wrong lens. After all the adjustments made, wearing the glasses still hurts and I’m now looking into taking them elsewhere to have them fixed.
I will give the store props for helping me pick out glasses that I love, but probably would have never picked out by myself. They were also great in implementing the vision discount that I had.
