Good coffee but my bagel and cream cheese was just ok. My wife had the café au lait two mornings and gave it a good review. Overall, I still prefer Dunkin!

I discovered this place last April and have been back on two subsequent visits to Rehoboth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for coffee. Amazing chocolate and spicy espresso drinks and great drip coffee. The proprietor was extremely helpful and friendly. Must visit.

This café was nice and warm on a cold rainy day! My husband and I both enjoyed the drinks we got — a large nonfat latte for him and a decaf nonfat Mexican mocha for me! Both drinks were perfectly made and exactly what we were wanting when we walked into this Café. It looked like they had some other creative coffee drink options with ingredients like peanut butter and several items to eat. Service was great and the place was kept clean, although there was only one guy there running the whole show.

I have been coming to Rehoboth for 10 years. And I make a special trip to Café A Go Go every time to get their version of a Cortadito and it is great. However, the two owners are rude beyond belief each time to anyone not familiar to them. Enough. You rely on people like me(tourists) to walk in your door. Your attitude to the people in line before me and then me is astounding. AND this comes from someone who has written good reviews of your place for years. No more. I will walk to the two new coffee shops in town. You lost a client, an advocate, and a sale incidentally(we were going to buy coffee beans to take home).

Just a standard run in and get your coffee place. I will go back to a place for a pretty environment or good coffee, but this place was unmemorable on both counts. I’m so surprised Rehoboth Avenue doesn’t yet have a more upscale local coffee house.

Been coming to this coffee shop for 8 years. Simply cannot get the service and quality at any other shop. The Mexican coffee drinks are awesome and cannot be found elsewhere

I’m conflicted: 1) Espresso is pretty good, and the line moves fast.(Although the giant, loud fan and borderline loud music probably isnt what most people want in a coffee shop at 9 am.) 2) The owners/operators — a husband and wife team — seem to have made up their own version of various espresso drinks that is crazy confusing. Example: they list Cortado, which at every other coffee shop in the world has more steamed milk than a macchiato but less than cappuccino. But at Café A Go Go, it’s basically pure espresso and just a tiny dab of milk. 3) If you question what they make even in a polite way, the husband gets short with you. These folks undoubtedly are hard working business people and a credit to the community. But the quality customer service you find in most other coffee shops — especially independent ones like this one — is nowhere to be found here. So it’s a roll of the dice. Try to get as much info from the wife/cashier about what they consider to be cappuccino(or whatever) BEFORE you order. Or expect pushback from the husband when you inquire why they don’t make your drink like every other coffee shop.

The coffee here comes with attitude! The owner who served us was so rude my breath was taken away! Well many more coffee shops only a few yards away and I am sure they serve attitude free coffee.

Café A Go Go is my absolute favorite coffee house in Rehoboth. The staff is always very friendly and the coffee is delicious and costs a heck of a lot less than others in the area plus the little lounge is very comfy, They have a large smoothie menu and also offer baked goods but I usually go for the Iced Black Eye which is always sheer perfection. Their Mexican Mocha is also yummy as is their whipped cream.

Excellent Mexican spiced mocha! The staff who I think are also the owners are super friendly. Stopped by to cool down on it. The décor is outdated but it has ur warm mom and pop feel. Would stop by.

This tiny gem is nested between a candy shop and another shop on the board walk. I went in to get some of the fresh brewed iced tea they had a sign in the window advertising. When you walk in you smell the coffee and are drawn into a cozy environment. I could have stayed for hours. They had a fresh baked coconut cake you could buy slices of along with a few other desserts for sale as well. The had a very nice menu board full of options. My iced tea was refreshing and flavorful. The next time I’m at Rehoboth I’m going to spend more time here and try more off their menu. I recommend you try it also.

Went there for a morning coffee and had the spicy chilli coffee(I forget exactly what it was called). It was fantastic but not for the faint hearted ;) I felt the burn for quite some time afterwards! Service was friendly, atmosphere was ok and it was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Rehoboth Beach!

The service was wonderful. Very informative of the different coffees and friendly. They made you feel welcomed. The cortadito was one of the best things I have every tasted and being a huge foodie and coffee drinker that is say a lot. A must try!

Went here with my girlfriend after bike ride. Needed a coffee and a rest room, I walked to what appeared to be the bathroom door while my gf stood in line. They said no restroom for customers. I said ok, and told my gf no need to buy a Coffee here. The owner said– we don’t need you buddy. No you don’t– fuck you and your shitty coffee shack you miserable asshole.

I was looking for a nice place to work, since I work from home or in coffee-shops when I feel like it. I recently moved from Manhattan to this area… Obviously it’s a huge change, not that easy to find places where you can work here,(that aren’t tourist oriented, but more for locals) I read a lot of great reviews on Unilocal about this place. I make good coffee at home, being a fan of Blue Mountain coffee, Illy or Lavazza(I grind my own beans etc…). So I was more looking for a nice atmosphere to work, and be productive and try something I won’t be able to make at home.(I got a Mexican Mocha and it’s pretty good and was prepared quickly, a bit pricy, same prices you’d get in Manhattan actually) It must have been a bad day for the owners or something, as soon as I got in(I was carrying a laptop bag) the lady told me they don’t have wifi, I replied that I carry my own internet device, then she added they close at 6pm. In a way it’s nice to let me know, so that I am prepared. The issue is, she barely broke a smile, again… must have been a bad day, and I won’t judge them on that since so many other Unilocalers praised how nice the owners are… it was my first impression though. Actually I would prefer a honest smile, than a fake one… but still… not so welcoming, but forgiven. I must have been spoiled by the coffee place I used to go when I lived UWS, with the super-nice staff there(Café Noi, I miss you guys)…but well. I guess I’ll come back unless I feel like going downtown Lewes, for a more historical feel. They play great music, that’s a huge +++ and probably the reason why I would come back and bring my husband with me, he loves this kind of music.(That song he loves was playing when I sat down: «A Little Bit of Soap» by the Jarmels.)

2 stars for the coffee, which is acceptable. They are able to foam soy milk as well. Otherwise be prepared to get your coffee their way, and if you don’t like it you can leave. The attitude they dish out left an impression and we won’t be back. I guess with so much tourist business they really don’t need to differentiate between a cappuccino and a latte. Thankfully there are other coffee options besides Starbucks.
