Spent Saturday evening with friends eating and listening to Bryan Clarke sings. It never gets old eating here. Our friends ordered mussels & lobster risotto appetizers. The Lobster risotto was to die for. They also shared a lobster tail meal that they both enjoyed. My husband ate the crab cake and I the scallops risotto, both were delicious. We requested Ashley as our server and she took good care of us. Thank you Ashley. See you soon.

We were in town for Thanksgiving w/end staying at the local Marriot Fairfield instead of with the parents. A knew of this place and my fondness for martinis so we stopped in Wednesday night after a long drive. I was deciding between the Garvey and the Grapefruit Martini. As a compromise, on Wednesday I had 2 grapefruit martinis, and on Friday I tried the Garvey. I must say that Tom Garvey is quite the mixologist. He’s also friendly and makes his guests more at home than just customers at his restaurant. Over the 2 visits, we sat at the bar and tried various appetizers. The hummus was excellent! In addition to the usual carrots and celery, we had chunky slices of sweet peppers. That was a nice surprise. The calamari was tender. The beef tartare was very nicely prepared and presented. We missed the live music as we left Saturday morning. But we will definitely return!

We were staying overnight in Bethany at a friends rental place and it was recommended by the homeowner as a good place to eat and also had entertainment. Don’t be deceived by the strip mall location — when you step inside you get a whole different vibe — upscale but not pretentious. We were seated at a booth near the kitchen and close to the stage which we weren’t thrilled about at first but was actually a good spot. We saw the music equipment set up and wondered if we were going to enjoy this type of entertainment(Bryan Clark)…my husband and friend are musicians also. The crowd was a little bit older but well dressed and friendly! Our server was friendly, funny and helpful with our order. The food was delicious and just the right amount. Our friends had the halibut(a little dry) and the crab cake entrée. My husband and I had the seafood combo and crab cake entrée which were both very good! Finished the meal off with a pumpkin martini(Devine!). Bryan Clark was amazing!!! Great entertainer all around — very versatile — sang everything from Sinatra to Sam Cook and too many others too mention and lots of great dance tunes as well! Wonderful night overall !!

Went on 11÷06÷15 for dinner. Read some good reviews on Google… said price was good. Well, price was upper 20s to lower 30s. That’s ok since I’m used to these prices in philly. Ordered 18oz ribeye. Got 8oz. Thought I misread menu. Diner size!!! Really? Baked potato was undercooked. Sent back and got slightly less undercooked potato. Owner argued and had foul attitude. Maybe he was working too hard behind bar… double duty… I get it. Thanks for making me feel like a complainer. Waitress was good. Too bad I couldn’t just rate her. If you go here, take a meat scale.

Just a little off the beaten path, but right on coastal highway, semi hidden gem that all the locals know about. It was a Saturday night and was able to accommodate nine people right away at 7:00. The food was incredible martinis great service was outstanding and they also had live entertainment which was very good. We will be back time and time again.

Excellent food, service and entertainment! The martinis were very generous and they even left the shaker so you could enjoy every drop! I had the shrimp and asparagus risotto which was very good. Loved watching/listening to Bryan Clark!

So I’m heading back to B’more from OC… played 18 at The Salt Pond otw home, balls sweaty. Looking for a hole in the wall. Pass up many choices from tested chains to interesting but obvious local joints. Then I find Hooked in an unassuming strip mall that has been dwarfed by the newer and better and cleaner strip malls on all sides. This is what my swamp drawers and I were looking for. I park my unregistered Monte Carlo and look forward to settling in with some locals enjoying $ 1 Natty Lights and Scully’s Catch o’ the Day. I walk in and am immediately snapped into improvised soberness, as I realize that I’ve been duped. But instead of bitterness, I just take it in. The place is gorgeous. It’s not even my style of pressure treated seating booths, but I love love it. From the ceiling, to the copper, to the leather benches, to the sunken bar, to the colored lights… this place was clearly professionally designed, simple but luxurious. My improvised soberness takes an uppercut to the jaw when I order a Knob Manhattan that was more like two of ‘em…moh-licious. The pasta in my Shrimp Scampi was the star… tasted freshly made. The sauce could have stepped up with more spice. GF’s Halibut was terrific. But the Peanut Butter Pie with coffee showed them both up. This impromptu stop quickly designated itself as a regular stop on my beach trips. I look forward to visiting again and hope you do too. PS…a special treat was the young host’s preparedness for my sarcastic banter, bravo young man.

This is the first five I’ve given. They deserve it! Yummy!!! Also good atmosphere. Small and cozy with good music. A bit loud, though(Friday during high-peak summer).

Love this place! Always have the best drinks! The martinis always have the freshest ingredients, so order the daily specials! I also think they cook their fish to perfection. It is an art to get it browned on the outside but still juicy inside. Never had a bad experience here. One of our continual«Top 10» in Rehoboth for years.

This place is outstanding. Even if you aren’t a fan of martinis get the Garvey. It’s just liked a mixed drink but it’s heavenly. And the lobster orzo is out of this world delicious. It’s my dinner every time. Plus the service is never less than above average.

Stopped in for the very rare date night yesterday evening. Mind you the previous time we were in we dined with our 14 month old. The establishment was very accommodating of our little one! This is very rare in eateries such as this. Big thumbs up! Our sever for the evening inquired about our little one and promptly brought a round of martinis. The stroganoff was super tasty and the hubby had a custom vegan pesto dish.

Came down to the Rehoboth area for a getaway weekend with my love and this place came highly recommended by a few of my family members. I checked here on Unilocal and the reviews seemed rave worthy. Let me start by saying this: it is easily their busiest night of the week… Especially in offseason. And they knocked it out of the park! First and foremost. Get a drink. Tom’s(the bartender… owner as well) martinis are the BEST martinis I’ve ever had. This man knows his way around the bar. My martinis I had were absolutely fabulous. I had the Garvey(Tom’s signature), the Blue Hawaiian, a white chocolate pumpkin spice lateé martini, and an espresso martini over the course of 4 hours. I was feeling right! And satisfied! My babe had two Malibu bay breezes. Her sentiments on the drinks were the same as mine. Outstanding! Okay, this next part you truly don’t get anywhere else… Bryan Clark. Live entertainment with a meal. This guy knows how to party. And at 51 years old, he moves better than most professionals at 30. This guy has got it all. The voice, the moves, the swagger, the jokes, the charm. If you have a classy woman that loves and respects classic, timeless music, Bryan Clark has it all. He performs everything from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson. Bryan also performed other favorites by Barry White, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Josh Groban, Bobby Darrin, and Billy Ocean. This man performed for three hours straight. Best performance I’ve seen at any dinner/drink place. The food. Wonderful. As good as my filet was(cooked perfectly medium), my favorite had to be our baked Brie appetizer. Outstanding. My girlfriend had a great shrimp, pesto, and cilantro pasta dish. Dessert was impressive and finished the meal right… Salted caramel pie. Great dining experience. Last but not least. The service was excellent. Quick and patient in serving between courses and drinks. The interior. Great setting. The lighting, décor, design, local photography on the wall… This place has it all. Best kept secret in the Rehoboth Beach area!

Your best comment for this review would have been. Sorry your experience here was not a good one. But as you and everyone else can see. You and your establishment is very conceited and would never accept the blame for any of this but continue on with all your excuses.

Solid, hipsterish eatery that is surprisingly kid friendly. It’s not often that you can walk across a parking lot from a Go-Kart track to a nice, upscale restaurant but that is the case at the Midway Shopping Center! Hooked, part of local chain, is a very nice place with good food. Mrs. W tried one of the specialty martinis and loved it. The smoked fish dip was a great appetizer, even the kids loved it. Mrs W got a seafood linguine dish and enjoyed it very much. I got a very nice piece of blackened tuna. Our server Ashley was excellent. The kids said she reminded them of a beloved teacher at their school. This is very high praise! Overall, a good safe choice for the family if you are in the Midway area.

Best seafood soup i’ve ever had and it wasn’t even what I ordered! I got the salad and tried a bit of the chunky salad my mom had– so delicious. It’s tucked in a strip mall behind Candy Kitchen, but is way to classy to be in a strip mall. I would definitely take a date here or the family for a nice sit-down dinner. On top of all that, awesome and accommodating service. Everything one would need for 5 stars. I will be back!

If you are a martini fan this is the place to be. Easy parking very important during summer season. I was there for happy hour the wine list was wonderful and even the house wines were tasty. I had the lobster risotto. Although. It was an appetizer it totally filled me up! Will be back for more. Fabulous. Will definitely be back and report on the next good thing I eat there. By the way this has a groovy bar, 2 TVs and a spacious dining room. Family friendly and ADA friendly. Go! I’m a local and I don’t know what took me so long
