I’ve eaten at Nage at least 50 times in the last few years. It was my «go to» place to bring friends and family for a great gourmet meal. Tonight things were different. They redid the interior. More room at the bar, but the new high tables were so uncomfortable. My feet didn’t touch the ground in the booth. The Mac and cheese appetizer was always outstanding. Now, they changed the recipe and it was bland and had no taste. I tried the cold corn soup with crab, but that too had very little flavor. I thought things would maybe be better with the main dish. I had the short ribs duo which is usually a reliable dish, but tonight it was not even warm and again, didn’t have the taste or consistency I’d expect at Nage. Also, Nage was always a place where the servers were exceptional and on top of their game. Tonight, they seemed overworked and inattentive. The place is now much more casual, so if that’s what you like, then maybe you’ll be happy. To me, I may come back for brunch, which has always been excellent, but probably not for dinner. I’ve been a regular for years. Maybe this was just an off night for Nage, but until tonight, I’d never had a bad meal there.

My husband and I have been going to Nage for over a decade. We were celebrating my birthday tonight at the reimagined Fork and Flask and it couldn’t have been better. The freshness of the ingredients was undeniable. The nuances of flavors was undeniable. We even had a new server, Benjamin, who didn’t miss a beat. Chef Sean has created a phenomenal menu and Pete has the font of the house humming. Bravo, Fork and Flask.

My sister-in-law and I had the good fortune to be the guest of one of the owners of Fork and Flask at Nage. From the drink at the bar, shared appetizers, an opportunity to taste a chef’s sample, to the entrée and dessert, the experience can only be described as fabulous. We ate oysters, burratta macaroni and cheese, scallops, ceviche, vegetarian sampler, wahoo, skirt steak and grouper. Each dish was uniquely prepared with farm to table freshness. The desserts, which included a summer strawberry sundae, blueberry crumb cake, ricotta cheesecake and the unbelievable milkshake pie were all equally spectacular. In addition to the culinary excellence the wait staff made the evening all the better. Without hesitation we would highly recommend this outstanding place. If you travel or vacation in the Lewes, Rehobeth Beach, Dewey or Bethany Beach area you should make every effort to dine at the Fork and Flask at Nage.

Visiting Rehoboth this Memorial Day weekend I found this place on Unilocal. We were a party of 6 and I called ahead to ensure a seat. The staff were super friendly and almost too awesome! The food was delicious and the décor is nice. I had the eggs Benedict with crab meat. Very tasty! All of us were very satisfied and would definitely visit next time I’m around. Nice job guys!

Consistently good small plate menu, nightly specials, ad happy hour offerings. Our go to on snowy nights, brunch, and Wednesday after work meals. LOVE the fresh new interior colors and expanded bar.

We like this place because of a very sweet waitress girl, we would like to say thank u so much to her! We passed by this restaurant in a raining Sunday noon from NYC, actually we were looking for some seafood like diner dish, unfortunately it’s still brunch time in their service. But So lucky we were to meet this kind girl, she didn’t show us any attitude, instead, she wrote down 2 restaurants name that have the diner dish in the noon time to us. One of them was«big fish grill», which was so great, totally made our day! we couldn’t say how appreciate we are. Although we don’t even know her name, but I will definitely go this restaurant again because of her. Lovely !

Service is amazing, everyone is super polite, and the food is soooo tasty! I got the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got the kill it skillet. They also gave us free scones and muffins when we came in. Oh, and my boyfriend checked us in and got us the free frites! They’re killin, it with the kill it skillet! haha(but honestly I liked the breakfast burrito more)

By far the best restaurant I have been to in ALL of Delaware. After living in Philadelphia for a few years and moving back to Wilmington I am always somewhat disappointed about my dining out experience. Nope, not here. F’ing delicious! My boyfriend I looked at each other shocked(in a good way) each first bite. Shout out to the Almond Joy Crème Brûlée. I would have sex with it.

I haven’t dined at Nage for awhile. Wow Sean Corea!!! I loved the new and improved warm vegetable salad. All seasonal veggies, I couldn’t stop eating this new revised salad. Plus lunch tomorrow! A big thank you to Nage and team. You did such an amazing job.

Meh. That’s all I can say. Besides the attentive service, nothing else was worth writing home about. The Buffalo oysters just tasted like breadcrumb nuggets coated in Buffalo sauce. The Nage burger, although ordered medium rare, came out like a hockey puck. Pastas were all dente, but the sauces were boring and unimaginative. The frittes were lame, and the bread and olive oil tasted old and stale. The booth we were seated at was tight, and one side had a HUGE tear on the seat. Time for some major renovations, guys…

On a recent mid-week visit it became evident Nage is coasting on its 10+ year reputation and has lost a step. Although the dinner service was attentive & efficient, the kitchen was a disaster. Our orders took forever to arrive and the food that finally arrived was uninspired. A filet ordered MR finally showed up overcooked to the point of being well done, reminding me of a leather shoe. The restaurant is in the midst of an expansion to add a bar area, perhaps their plan is to focus of pushing liquor as they realize the shortcomings of their kitchen. A major disappointment.

I didn’t love this place. I had the special which was a BBQ chicken sandwich that was a plain chicken breast with BBQ sauce on it. It was all just okay. Like a solid 50%. It’s food but if I had another choice I thibk I’d go else where. I also wasn’t a fan of the fries

One of my favorite restaurants in Rehoboth Beach. Not downtown but located in strip mall near the outlets and we’ll worth the trip. Everyone thanks me when I recommend. Fantastic burger with frites too, which is half price at bar area during happy hour(4 – 6). The oyster asiago is excellent and worth trying!

I’m a fan. I usually stick to restaurants within walking distance when in Rehoboth — there are enough of them! But, since it was off-season and it wasn’t going to take an excessive amount of time to drive out to Rte 1, we decided to give Nage a try. We weren’t starving, so we sat at the tables near the bar and had some light fare including hummus, roasted chick peas and french onion soup. The hummus was very tasty; I especially like the gourmet crackers they served with it. Soup was great and the roasted chick peas were unique(better when warm vs cold). I did a white wine flight — highly recommend. Husband had a cocktail with St. Germaine, cucumbers, and other stuff… which seemed pretty good. Live music, nice bar atmosphere — a very comfortable place. I really wish I could remember our server’s name as he went above and beyond — exceptional service! Worth the trip out even in season.

This establishment is one of those places where presentation suffers from poor execution. The décor is pretty, the bathroom is even meticulously decorated. Now if there was that much effort in design as to their food, it would definitely be a 5. We have never been to this place so we were open to getting a few appetizers and as well as entrees. Crab toast, was good but felt like we would suffer from it later. It tasted like the bread was soaked in butter. Chorizo and potatoes, they were over cooked… our potatoes kinda took away from the chorizo, so we couldn’t really taste the chorizo. All just tasted pretty dry… The burger, was ok but the meat tasted salty. I did like the tomato condiment. Which was basically tomatoes and sugar, it helped take away the salty meat taste… So u really need it on the burger. The seared tuna was ok. I would not try this place again. They tried to hard. And for the money… I would rather get a solid meal without all the frills as opposed to paying for something that looks good with nothing to back it up. The service was excellent. They were helpful and kept coming around to check on us. It’s hard to rate a place so low when service is so good. So actually, this place should be a 2.

nice service… was really hoping for better. Kinda over-priced and hyped, seems like it used to be a simple restaurant but they’re clumsily trying to make it upscale… nice try folks… never again

Exploring the beach scene for a solid brunch spot can be difficult. Thank goodness we found Nage!!! Three girlfriends and I cured our bachelorette party fog from the previous night with the incredible food & service at Nage. The deets: Eating gluten free can be a challenge but this was not an issue at Nage. Their menu doesn’t list GF options but anyone with the allergy can identify and inquire about what is safe to eat. Drinks: Our table started with peach mango, pomegranate & grapefruit mimosas and a spicy bloody mary. Nage doesn’t mess around with spicy, there was a serious kick to the Bloody Mary! All of the mimosas hit the spot. The peach mango was the sweetest, as it tasted like a thick purée mixed with champagne. The grapefruit was delightfully tart and fresh squeezed! Food: We started with the baked oysters & baked brie. The brie was wrapped in a pastry so I was unable to try it but the rest of our group was very pleased. The oysters were fantastic. The perfect temperature & the mixed greens were a great compliment. Unilocaler tip: if you check-in, you get a free bowl of their pomm frites! Before receiving our apps, one of our servers(more to come on their service later) brought us a plate of complimentary housemade pastries. Two passion fruit scones and two strawberry banana muffins. These didn’t last long! I couldn’t try them but didn’t mention that I was GF. One of the waitresses caught on and brought a special GF cashew bar that the chef made that morning!!! Wow, delicious! Points earned! The main meal: three omelets & one crab topped eggs benedict. My omelet had arugula, asparagus, mushroom, smoked onion & roasted red pepper. The other two were similar but had cheddar cheese, too. The smoked onion is a MUST! Huge flavor pop and it was obvious that Nage pays attention to every culinary detail in their dishes. The idaho & sweet potato hash was full of flavor and balanced the dish. Considering the appetizers & free frites, the portion sizes were enough for us but I’d be disappointed if I hadn’t ordered anything else. For the price, the portions are on the smaller side. No one in our group had a single complaint about the quality or flavor of the food. I wish we lived closer because we agreed we’d be back to try everything else on their menu! Service: The hostess was very personable & let us have our pick of seating. The waitstaff is very attentive and they rotate to ensure full coverage on the floor. We had two main servers but a few others served as food runners. This technique was successful as we didn’t need to ask or wait long for anything. The floor manager also checked in. Décor: quaint, inviting and polished. Delicate farm style decorations with a modern twist. We had a wonderful experience and hope to be back soon to the Rehoboth beach location or the one in DC!

Due to the over-priced super food and their faulty loyalty program, the accurate rating should be 3.5÷5. Pros: During brunches, I would recommend the flavorful lobster crepes with grapefruit. The flavors are excellent. A complementary basket of warm bakery goods was served for the table. The size portion of dishes has been often fair. The place has been kid-friendly. The noise level has been fine. The free Nage French fries with truffle oil were obtained easily when we checked-in on Unilocal. Cons: During the brunch, the restaurant charged us $ 8 for only two small pancakes for our toddler. This was truly over-priced. The size portion of the lobster crepes with salad was too small. The Chiquales dish was bland and the tacos were saggy. The dinner menu has been truly over-priced. The description of some dishes can be misleading. The lobster mac and cheese turned out to be some spiral pasta with Alfredo sauce and lobster. It was delicious, but it wasn’t matching the description on the dinner menu. The Nage loyalty card can’t be used at their Washington DC location because the management is different. The Nage loyalty card program isn’t working at the Rehoboth beach location. We paid $ 25 to receive by mail the Nage loyalty card. We could see on each of our receipts how much cumulated discounts we will be able to receive. We were told we could not received any discounts on the foods until we will have receive the Nage loyalty card by mail. It took about a month and a half to receive the Nage loyalty card. When they changed the percentage of discounts allocated with the Nage loyalty card, all our points were lost by their system. We were never able to benefit from the advantages of their loyalty program. When the restaurant ran out of steak, they substituted it for a lower cut of beef. It happened to us twice during a brunch and a dinner. The waiters let us know only when they served us the plates. They didn’t offer any discounts on the bill. Their desserts such as the chocolate cake and caramel crème brûlée were too sugary.

The beach in the off season is a great time to venture out to those sought after spots that fill up way to quickly during the peak season. Nage had plenty of open tables while scouring for brunch spots a few weeks back. My eggs Benedict was average at best but I appreciated the plentiful brunch options including specialty pancakes and frittatas. Service was ok considering we were one of 4 tables we waited a bit to long in my opinion for coffee refills and waters but the muffin basket and fruit tray to start was a very nice touch. Id come back from brunch and maybe order something different next time. Pro tip — free fries with check in. Didn’t use this so will def be back
