I used to like this restaurant. I had been their several times and the food was good and portion sizes large. The ingredients seemed authentic Italian. The prices are high, but they were fair for what you(used to) get. That has changed after my last two visits. Both times I ordered chicken parmesan and both times the food was cold and tasted as if it had been cooked early in the day or the prior day and just briefly heated prior to serving it. The waitress took the food back and served a hot portion which was now overly dry. The place is usually very busy and the service is good. However, the food needs to be hot and fresh. I will not go back until I hear that they have improved.

We had valentine’s day dinner at touch of Italy. This was our first visit. I was accompanied by my husband, two children and parents. We had reservations, so we were seated right away. The smell of authentic Italian cuisine was amazing. We loved the atmosphere. Our server greated us immediately. He was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. Our food was amazing. We each ordered something different so we could try a bit of everything. Portion size was large(leftovers for Monday). There was no kids menu but plenty of kid friendly options on the regular menu. Before we left, we were given a sweet treat, adorable little cookies, as a valentine’s day gift. So glad we made this choice for our dinner.

While visiting Delaware today, we stopped at this place, the food Is incredibly good and plenty of delicious Italian food. It isn’t fancy, on one side they have an Italian deli, and on the other side tables and a bar. for the quality of food, it is reasonably priced. Our waiter was witty and he kept checking with us to see if we needed anything else. We are down here for a long weekend, and with all the restaurants, we may get there a second time. also the desserts are to die for.:)

We made our first visit to Touch of Italy last night, and we enjoyed ourselves. My wife had the chicken parm, and I had the gnocchi. Both were quite tasty, and the portion sizes were very generous. The waitress was very helpful and knew her menu, and we did not have to wait very long for the food to come out. Many may not know that you can also purchase food to go, and there’s even a bit of an «Italian market» feel to the place with the cheeses and meats they sell. Overall, we were happy with the dinner, and we will be back.

Loud yes, Food is worth the noise. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is a great venue and fun location with some of the best real Italian Food that will compete with most restaurant in NYC. If they have the Short Ribs — Its a must have. The various cheeses and salami(s) are also delicious.

Having moved here from NY, I am looking for a good Italian restaurant. This is not it! I had the chicken Parmesan, which was expensive and no better than an Olive Garden. On top of that, the spaghetti was under cooked and inedible! Very sad for an Italian Restaurant. I will continue my search, but won’t be returning here!

Accidentally posted a review for this Touch of Italy instead of the one in Lewes. But if they are anything like their other location, I have faith that my 5-star review is still accurate. My promise to you is to eat here soon so that I can accurately rate this location.

It’s been a while since I last went to a really good Italian restaurant; but these guys got it right. The food is amazing! I ordered the chicken parmesan and the piece of chicken was easily the size of my head — and best of all — it was the best chicken parm I’ve ever had! Portion sizes are large, regardless of what you order. The prices are a bit up there, but are well worth it when you consider the portion size and quality of your meal. Waitstaff were excellent. They kept our drinks full and food arrived in a timely manner despite the place being completely full. My only complaint isn’t even on them. The Discount Liquor store in the plaza has elected itself King of the Plaza and has put reserved signs at the majority of the parking spaces in the lot. So parking can be a bit scarce.

The restaurant has a very Italian feel. We ordered pizza and salad to go. The ingredients were extremely fresh. The service was great, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would give 5 stars, the pizza was delicious, but a little soggy in the middle by the time we got home(5 mins away). Other than that it was delicious.

So authentic. This was one of the best meals I’ve had! We started with the calamari fritti, which was the best we’ve had in the U.S. Tasted just like Italy and Spain’s! The same goes for the olive oil. We had to buy a bottle before leaving. We also got the garganelli alla bolognese and pollo alla parmigiana; which were flawless. Along with 2 perfect pizzas; but I preferred the san marzano to the il migliore. Bought a «legalize marinara» shirt on the way out ;)

Excellent selection of pizzas. Between the five of us we ordered two pizzas and Cesar salad. Comes with complementary Italian bread w Parmesan cheese, olive oil on the table. We had a pizza with artichokes, basil, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. We added mushrooms. The other pizza was fresh mozzarella and basil. Both pies were delicious and filling. We ended our meal with cannolis for everyone. Coffee was fresh. They have take out as well and offer fresh salads, Cold cuts, Italian specialties and desserts. We visited for a late lunch but discovered they were full for dinner and were not accepting any more reservations. It was on a Saturday that we visited. There is one menu for lunch and for dinner. They have a small but adequate wine selection. We will definitely return when we are back in Rehobeth. They have several other locations one in Lewis as well.

Everything is delicious! The sandwiches are hand cut to order. Their selection is amazing. The only thing is they are larger than one person should eat. The choice is yours. Split it or pig out! The pasta is wicked delicious. Gnocchi to die for! Now, if you’re making up an antipasto platter, this is the spot to head. Trust these folks to steer you right! Their stuff is awesome Now, let’s talk the best cookies ever! Macaroons to die for! Almond cookies that just make my mouth water thinking about them. And they are all baked in house, so everything is fresh! Oh yeah, my wife swears their wood fired pizza is the best at the beach. She does not lie.

Saw someone eating a delicious looking flatbread in town. I turned around, I’m back on the highway, and came right in. The bartender was very, very nice and it just turned happy hour 3 o’clock. Guess what was on the menu! The artichoke bruschetta had my name on it. Unfortunately, they must have had a pizza. The flatbread was a fat pita, hard to cut, but fresh, with bruschetta topping on as advertised. The arugula salad was excellent, despite being over dressed. Very good salad. The locals love it here. Great authentic feel to the place.

Rustic and true! Stopped by for dinner and we definitely picked the right spot. Ordered the Italian OG classics, Fried Calamari, Chicken Parmesan and Cheese Ravioli. The portion sizes are huge, trust me you are going to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Amore!

I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant and I finally got the chance. They brought out bread that was freshly cooked. There was olive oil and season for the bread on the table. I ordered some chicken dish that was the special of the day. It was very fresh and hot out of the oven. We ordered a cannoli cake for dessert which was very tasty.

Total«faux-talian.» Don’t be fooled by the menu. Bread they give you seems like it’s from a grocery store. Prosciutto was so overly salty you can’t taste anything else. My order came out wrong. Pizza is alright — undercooked and again salty. The bartender was so rude to us. We got a comped meal and won’t be back.

Pros: The décor and service are great. The $ 5 cocktails are excellent. The place is kid-friendly. There is a TV. Cons: The crust of the pizza was crunchy, but not moist enough. The portion of topping on top was fine. The tiramisu wasn’t authentic and too sugary. It was more of a unhealthy custard surrounded by cookies. I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively in Italy and live in the Tri-state area. I can not recommend this dessert here.

When you first walk into this charming place, this place smells so good. I’m like wow. It’s a restaurant with a small bar(good happy hour specials, which starts at 3pm), and a deli market counter where you can order sandwiches to go, get a bunch of their delicious cookies(albeit quite expensive), meats, cheeses, and meatballs! I got the #5 and #6 subs and are so big, you can easily split them and feeds 2 people easily. Tastes great and they don’t skimp on the portion sizes. Will have to try their Ocean City, MD location when I’m there later this summer. This place is next to Outlet Liquors. I’m so glad my friend recommended me this place!

I have lived in southern Delaware for 5 years, after having grown up in the New York City area; additionally, I am Italian, so I have been generally disappointed in the offerings for Italian foods in this area. By far, this is the most authentic experience I have had in my time in Delaware. You are instantly hit with the smell of the aged cheeses upon entering, which makes the atmosphere more alluring than in any other Italian eateries that I have patronized in this area. I went during lunch to have one of their heroes, the San Bendetto. The chicken was fried perfectly, with the broccoli rabe and roasted red peppers cooked to perfection. Overall, I was highly impressed; we will be returning — frequently.

Go to place for Italian food in Rehoboth or miles around! Always busy, long wait for table in season. We eat here every time we are in the area. There are no or not many decent Italian places to eat for miles around. The pastas are great and Pizzas too. I love the sausage pasta and also the mushroom pasta here. My wife loves the seafood pastas. The atmosphere is a little loud and café like but still comfortable. Service is decent. They have one in Ocean City, MD too the food is just as good but the service not as good.
