Applebee’s

The waitress was very nice and they seated us fairly quickly but after waiting 45 for our food, we left. Guess they must have forgot our order. Not to sure

I want to give this review a better rating, because really the food was REALLY good… chain or not. The issue I have is that the server didn’t check on us once during our meal, and it took about 50 minutes for her to bring out our food… which was only 2 3-​sample appetizer plates. I’m not sure why it would take so long, and why no one bothered to check on us the entire time.
I was also a little grossed out that when they would clean a table near us, I would watch them wipe the food from the tables onto the carpet. I figured they would at least come back and vacuum or sweep it… but nope. Food, garbage and ice were all just left all over the floors.
Yes… because of those amazing won-​ton tacos, I would go back. But I don’t think I will look forward to their stellar service or clean environment, that’s for sure. :-(

I’m sitting at Applebee’s right now and this will definitely be my last time here. After having to call the waiter back 3 time I finally asked for the manager. When I order a dish that comes with mushrooms I expect more than 3 slices. The gravy was ice cold and the portions looked like they were for my 3 year old. Lesson learned, Applebee’s is not what it used to be

This is by far the BEST Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. Service was awesome! (Thanks Christina! She deserves all big tips!) the food was hot and delicious, promptly got served and she checked on us a few times to where it wasn’t annoying. The coffee was a bit weak but hey not a big deal. Seriously the best lunch I’ve had at an Applebee’s.

Update:
We came for dinner this time on Valentine’s Day. It was busy and our food took a while to get to us, but our server was very attentive with us and kept checking in on is to make sure we were ok on drinks and anything else. We appreciated knowing that they didn’t just forget about us! This time we got a different server and he was AWESOME! (Sean, you’re awesome!) he was attentive and very well mannered! I’m telling you guys, these guys got one hell of a customer service training over the years because I’ve been to these restaurants before and I’ve never had a pleasant experience BUT THESE 2 EXPERIENCES CHANGED THE GAME!

I just returned home from dinner at Applebee’s. Terrible service and cold food. Our server was a lady with a high, curly ponytail. The only times she showed up promptly to our table was to present the check, take the debit card, and to offer me another beer. She took my water glass after letting it get low and didn’t return it. My friend’s water glass sat empty for several minutes before he asked for more water. She said, «sure», and then proceeded to bus the table next to us. She asked me if I wanted another beer and I said, «ask me in a few minutes.» She replied, «well that usually means yes, so do you want me to just grab one for you and bring it in a few minutes?»
My mashed potatoes were cold and obviously had been under the warmer because the plate was hot.
My dish was very disappointing with a inaccurate description and like I said, being cold.
This is the second time an Applebee’s has had terrible food/​service and I’ve quit going. Get your crap together.

On 12÷27÷15 we decided to go eat dinner there for my daughters 25^th birthday and we walked out after 15 minutes of getting seated. We were told who our server was when they sat us at our table. This waitress did not even acknowledge us. Then a party of three was seated right after us. Here comes this waitress, greeted this party of three and asked them what they wanted for drinks! After 5 minutes she comes back and asked them what they wanted to order! She still did come over to our table to even get our drink order! We are good paying customers and I tip well for great service! I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life! To the young lady that was supposed to serve us I don’t like to get anyone in trouble that’s why I didn’t put your name on here! We are nice people and now a days it’s hard to find customers that are patient and understanding. I will never go back to this establishment again! Luckily my daughter does not feed in to this kind of BS! She patiently said «mom it’s ok let’s go find another restaurant». We ended up at Mimi’s Café where we had a very delightful waitress and a wonderful meal even though it was a very busy night! Thank you Mimi’s Café for the great service and making my daughters birthday a memorable one!

Dinner was fantastic! Our server, Bryan, was training (Whitney) and service was great. He’s a very good trainer and it was nice to have five star treatment for one star prices.
Baby and I did the 2 for $ 20. It entails full sized courses of one appetizers and two entrees. We got spinach dip to start and both opted for the bomb diggity Chicken Fiesta Lime– my ultimate go to at Applebee’s!
Now let’s get to the important stuff: drinks and dessert: Bahama Mama and the Blondie! I can’t describe the Blondie, it’s life changing!!! I would give give a kidney for a Blondie!!!

We stopped in while out shopping for the day. Our server was prompt and very polite. The food arrived quickly and cooked as ordered. The price was only a little high but about what we expected for not technically being a fast food place. The last time we went out we stopped by another similar establishment just up the road and we felt Applebees was better :)

Horrible service, beer is over priced, over priced and horrible quality of food, would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to wait for 25 min after being seated and want to waste money.

Blech Blech blech. Does the Chef not taste the food or is he/​she not that experienced? I am a home cook and my food is awesome. I want to go out so, so we did. Yuck. Never again. Beef and grains tasted like dirf. Dirt??? Really??? Mushrooms made it taste like dirt? Gross. French Onion soup was delish. My dinner was nasty. Hubby had salmon dish. Bland bland bland. But it was Applebees and not a better restaurant. Our Bad. Never again. Service sucked too. Take pride in your food. Taste taste. Im done.

Absolutely terrible I would give them zero stars if I could. My family and I went here four years ago. We ordered something quick because we didn’t want to waste too much time at a restaurant so we ordered soups and salads. The service was awful. We waited 45 minutes to one hour for the soups and salads just to be told by the waiter that they didn’t even make them yet and they were backed up. At that point we only paid for the drinks and walked out. What a waste of time it wasn’t even that busy in the restaurant. We will never return when we are back in Reno.

Food was good and I really liked the screens they had on the table to allow you to order your own food, or at the very least get a more interactive menu. It has games to play with friends and family too.

First of all… When we sat down the table and the seats were wet. And the server didn’t even wipe it dry. Second of all I ordered a margarita that was way too over priced and it was one of the nastiest margaritas ever. It was way too strong and I felt like I was sipping shots instead of having a nice cocktail. And I had to ask for ketchup 3 times and didn’t get it so I just got up and took one from another table. All in all the food was alright but the service was just bad. It’s not like they were rude, but just a little slow. Oh yeah they refilled my water when I was about to leave, how nice of them right?

I have not been to an Applebee’s in a very long time, but figured what the hay we are here so may as well. Our server Talia was amazing not only getting what we asked for but even offering things we had not thought of like more wet naps for my daughter who was having ribs. The food was amazing. All around a good meal. The only reason I am giving the 4 out of 5 was because I would have liked to have a few more mushrooms on my burger.

All Applebee’s have an extensive menu with plenty of wonderful choices, but this location excels in all areas.
The food is always prepared perfectly. The chicken is juicy the salads fresh and crisp.
The restaurant is spotlessly clean. The service is impeccable. Like Applebee’s, love, love, love this particular one!!!
Over the top!

Went last night it was plenty if seating due to the fact that it was in fact Easter. We got seated quick out server Bryan was great he paid close attention yo our needs and he was very helpful.
Our good order came very quick and it was good. There were a few things that could use some improvement,
1. When the restaurant isn’t busy make the other servers that are standing around look busy, not having personal conversations right next to a patron’s table (they right next to us) Im really not interested in what they have going on.
2. Don’t have a manager that states he does not work at night work at night he wasn’t doing anything but sitting in the bar eating. My father asked the manager for a bag to put our food in his lazy but asked Bryan to bring it. What a lazy bum, that rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall the next time I come to Reno I will visit again.

We had a Great time having lunch, our server Vicky, was great.
Always checking on us, service and food like always was great !!

We dropped into Applebee’s for a quick lunch while we were out running errands. We were greeted promptly when we walked in and seated in a nice clean booth. Greeted in a timely manner. We don’t like to use the order via tablet, that takes away from the servers service and tip in our opinion. I ordered the chicken salad of some sorts. It was slightly dry but was promptly brought a side of jalepeno dressing. It was a good salad but not out of this world. Good for a chain restaurant. All in all good experience and our server was nice a polite. I would recommend this to someone in the area for a quick, cheap lunch. Cheers!

The service was great. Friendly and responsive.
But, the food was not even edible. I returned it. The server agreed, credited me for the entrée and I left.
Really terrible food and presentation was very substandard.

Once again I have found that chain restaurants are just ok
But the staff was nice and the food did come out fast. The drink was just ok.
