Braidos is closed. The new place is hipster cool and worth a gawk at their weird ice cream flavors

When you’re in the business of making sandwiches it should be pretty extraordinary because sandwiches are one of those things we can all make at home and usually do. This was the most uninspired and bland sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I had the Tuscan chicken and the ingredients sounded promising but it was all underwhelming. I wanted soup but they only had one choice and it didn’t appeal to me. The place itself is a little run down and the service was efficient but nothing overly friendly. The worst part is that the sandwich was $ 9.50! Pretty much everywhere in town sells a better sandwich of comparable size for less.

I just discovered this place last week. The fresh breads are awesome, great sandwiches and cookies, and the people are super friendly and helpful. I will keep spreading the word! This place is awesome and I will keep coming back for more! PS. The Italian Stallion is great!

As everyone else has said — the Dutch Crunch is awesome! They have some really interesting and delicious sandwiches. In addition, the staff is very friendly!

Great sandwich, fresh meat sliced in front of you, bread is good and toppings the usual. I could write a long winded rant about the meal but its a sandwich people! What you get for what you pay is great value, don’t end up leaving feeling ripped.

I don’t want no scrub. Not when it comes to men, and definitely not when it comes to my sandwich. I mean, if I am going to pay $ 6 + for my lunch(the sandwich… not the man… I pay way more for him…), why should I settle for some sleazy, broke-ass sandwich? Finish this sentence: A sandwich is only as good as… …ITSINGREDIENTS… just like a man is only as good as his heart, brain, and wallet(zing). …THEPERSONWHOMAKESIT… just like a man who takes after his hot, hardworking dad and sweet mom. …ITSUNIQUENESS… because who wants to date Mr. Generic? …EFFECTONMYPOCKETBOOK… it’s okay to let him pay every now and then, right? I could keep going(tastiness, dependability, ease of access… but wait, whoahhhh there…). But suffice it to say that in all of the above categories, Braido’s definitely rocks it. Even if it didn’t exist when TLC dreamed up that late 90s smash hit, I’m pretty sure that all three ladies would agree that these are the sandwich equivalent of the kind of man we all want.

Tasty sandwich but I thought the prices were high. You can get almost double the meat and about 33% less cost at other great Delis in the area.

Best sandwich I have ever had! I was on my lunch break from Huffaker and thought I would try it. I got the California on Jalepeno bread, it was wonderful. The service was fast and friendly. I will definately be back.

Tried this place for the first time on Saturday. My boyfriend and I are now fans. My club on dutch crunch was super tasty, and my boyfriend very much enjoyed his club on wheat. It is not near to us, but we will be going back. The décor is a little bland but we actually like it, just about every table had different chairs than the others. Pretty funny.

House baked bread… sorry Deli-towne…not par baked bread. There is a difference. Great value, great service. the Cheers of Reno Deli’s…where everyone knows your name! Secret menu special, Pastrami Dip, for the hangover in all of us! Second secret menu special… Mel’s Mix… soup of the day mixed with homemade chili! THEBOMB…

We were in the Lakeside area and fairly hungry so we popped into this hidden deli. They have quite a few sandwiches and the usual sides. I had a buffalo chicken and the wifeski had a vegetarian. Mine was on jalapeño cheese roll and the bread was super fresh and high quality, the sandwich itself was pretty pedestrian as far as deli sandwiches go, Deli town up the road makes a better sandwich, but my half sandwich was only $ 4.25 The wife loved her veggie sandwich. We would probably eat here again, but won’t make a special trip for it. Also it was about really cold outside and the inside was not particularly warm. My daughter was cold so we ate quickly and left.

Although Braido’s is nestled into primarily a residential neighborhood(in Lakeside), after eating there three times, I find it to be worth the drive! Their bread is freshly baked every day and is outstandingly exceptional. I LOVETHEDUTCHCRUNCH! I had the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the Veggie Sandwich. The Tuscan was a medley of delicious flavors surrounded by their DUTCHCRUNCHROLL(FEAKINDELICIOUS). The sandwich is pretty big too and I was able to parlay it into two meals! I have now been there three times and the owners have been there every time; we love the warm and welcoming atmosphere Mel and Jeff facilitate when walk into Braido’s! I can tell that they really are passionate about their product by their enthusiasm as you navigate through their delicious menu! BRAVO, BRAIDO’S!!!

Tucked in the Lakeridge Point Shopping Center at Lakewood & Ridgeview, is BRAIDO’S DELICAFE, a neighborhood gem! There is nothing like walking in a place of business and being warmly greeted by the owners who are friendly and put so much heart into the comfort food that they dish out. The care they put into the preparation of their meals is evident in the quality of the finished product. Fresh baked bread and ingredients make for delicious sandwiches, soups and salads! I feel fortunate that they are in my community where I can stop in often for a dose of yummy goodness!

Braido’s is a good deli. I’d eat here if I was in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. I came here mainly to try the chili. It was good but not noteworthy. I also got a sandwich, which was good but nothing jumped out as being exceptional quality. Better than Subway but not as good as Delitowne up the road. I found nothing I wanted to drink.

For all of you that loved Munchies on Lakeside/Ridgeview, this is the place that took over when Munchies closed. Braido’s is smart… they retained the old staff, making the food pretty much the same as Munchies. However, Braido’s expanded the menu of Munchies… Braido’s still uses Boars Head deli meat(simply the best meat available, IMO). Also their rolls are all the same. Seriously, it’s like going to Munchies on steroids! In addition to the subs that Munchies had, Braido’s added a daily panini special, soup(chili and a special everyday). Plus, they have salads now!!! You can always check their daily specials on Facebook too, which is super cool!
